This mirror mode and tv mode can really have a bad infuelnce on its brain.
I mean how would you react if were staring at the mirror and suddenly it would start showing your face doing stuff you are not doing at the moment. You would go crazy, wouldnt you ? Its like to worse nightmare, like in tese horror movies. Has anybody thought about that launching these tests ? I know its all science and stuff but this particullar methot is not the best solution I guess.
The question is not "Are dolphins intelligent?" but "Are we humans intelligent enough to notice the undeniable intelligence of the other species?"
The human thinking is a form of noticing things, so it is connected to attention. So you should train yourself in seeing where the dolphin is relaxed (friendly & attentive) and where tense (unfriendly, & non-attentive), and to learn to understand their gestural communication: round & in balance versus edgy & out of balance.
I think they could just have a different form of intelligence, period (since there are obvious differences in lifestyle, like being acoustic rather than visual beings, or being visual).
Like humans are more practical, handywork creatures, while perhaps dolphins (especially since they don't have hands) are more philosophical/whimsical creatures (especially with how they seem to have a natural instinct to be really really playful)
although there a lot of potential holes in this idea..
It should be noted that there are over 33 different species of dolphin and not all dolphins are equally intelligent. Very few actually live up to the whole "extreme intelligence" belief. Only the Bottlenose dolphin and Orca (read that somewhere) are self aware, not dolphins as a group.
they are : when a man would be integrated into the ocean and when a man would have to live there constantly - this man will see that it is He , who should be asked like this. It is the way of life. Of different life.\
This dude is clearly an asshole. Look at the way he glances at the dolphin.
