He said that athletes are looking for any advantage they can get. What kind of advantage are you going to have after everyone buys this shoe because they want the edge? The only way this shoe would give you an advantage is if you were the only one who had it. The only thing improving shoes does is guarantee the shoe company money because it's not that people need it, they have to get it because everyone else is.

No, your thinking in the lines of person vs. person when it its person vs time or person vs. technique. if that person has the shoe that makes them better and more able to run that qualifying time that will be looked at by the scouts. i dont care if tht shoe drops the best athlete to 4.0 in the 40 and pretty good athletes to 4.29, scouts are still going to look at that 4.29 because its obviously fast, and if the shoe was worn it could be given credit to the shoes new stability on the right side.
