I liked the SC2 VUX, who were more like pompous blow-hards than the SC3 ones.

Heh, I liked SC3 voice actors. One of the few good things about that game. SC2 did much, much better without any voice actors at all, though.

The Vux puppet is good is this game. Too bad nothing else about them is, especially the voice.

For the record, I've always thought that the voices and voice acting (two completely different things) in Sc2 were great. They really fit the races the portrayed and brought out a lot of personality. The only one I've never liked is the Utwig voice.

Sc3 voices I think were mostly bad, as seen here. The Utwig they actually made better, and I like the DakTakLakPak voice acting, dialogue, and voice.

Aaah, the VUX, one of the very very few things SCIII actually sort of got HALF right. Sure, the voice isn't that great, and they had that stupid bit with this Vyro-Ingo race. And that all sucked. HOWEVER,

The idea of having the VUX as allies actually was pretty funny. It actually went about as well as you'd expect that to go.

Hahaha, yes! The VUX being fake allies and lying (badly) to your face, and just screwing with everyone else, THAT I liked.

Yep, and how they'd be about to fly into a rant about how much they hate you, and correct themselves in the last minute in a quite unconvincing manner.

That said, I the game also destroyed the VUX at the end by making them friendly. So lets hope SCIII is just ignored if they ever make a real sequel.

Hmm...maybe not different varieties of VUX. After all, doesn't ZEX mention the humans' 'varied skin colouration', suggesting the VUX are all the same colour?

I quite like the idea of VUX coming in green and purple varieties, though. Like grapes.

Meh, I liked the voice overs in SC2, but sc3 as a whole just plain sucked. It was a complete disappointment.

I played the original PC version of SC2 without voices. When I first heard the 3DO voices I wanted to stab icepicks into my eardrums to make the agony stop. They were awful beyond words, painful to me beyond what I could ever describe. I want to astrally punch the Utwig StarCon2 voice actor in the face so hard, repeatedly, for the pain the SC2 voice acting caused me.

Although to be fair the Thraddash, Syreen, and Ur-Quan were tolerable.

You cannot honestly tell me that you liked the SC2 Utwig voice. That voice is so hateful, so hideously whiny and pathetic and irritating and nasal and grating and badly recorded that I don't understand how anyone could ever like it.

I would gladly take ANY SC3 voice over the SC2 Utwig, Orz, or Spathi.

I like the spathi and Orz, but no, I didn't like the Utwig one, they should have stopped whining when you gave them the Ultron. Plus, SC3 is notorious for being a REALLY shitty sequel. Who cares about the voice overs really when the game was THAT bad.

The SC2 Spathi and Orz voices made me want to violently kill them, which hurt since I loved them to death originally. SC3 wasn't a great sequel and SC2 blows it completely out of the water in every other way, but in terms of voice acting I would gladly take SC3 over SC2 any day of the week.

Hate the SC2 voices, but HATE the sc3 ones also, they're VERY VERY annoying. They're loud, childish and just plain evil.

I don't know, I don't find the SC3 Utwig voice annoying. The Human voice acting is fine, and I thought the Ur-Quan were fairly well done. The original races voiceovers seemed to match pretty well, except for the Owa. Wooo, kind of jarring there guys.
