It would be nice to see Fresno win more of those non-conference games against bigger-name opponents -- so often they come close but fall short. My alma mater is is one of Fresno's WAC rivals (and in the PCAA / Big West before that, back in the early to mid 80's), but I respect Fresno's program. They aren't afraid to play anyone and win often enough to make it to a bowl game almost every year.

You know, part of the reason that lineman was able to take it in was because of his size. It isn't easy to stop someone who weighs 300+ lbs. and has had a chance to take several steps to get some inertia -- especially when, unlike fullbacks on goal line stands, he doesn't have the entire defensive line to go through.

I didnt expect nothing. I wouldnt watch it if I expected something. Doesnt matter to me if their not in top 25 or ranked last in college football. In 2005 though, Fresno state scored 42 against then #1 in the nation USC. Anything can happen. My point is too bad none of these teams were in the top 25 to an even bigger postive impact for Fresno State in the media, not to help them in rankings, to make them known and the valley known. I have a right to my opinion just like you do.
