Fantastic! I always thought the Liberator was as sleek as the Enterprise in the Blake's 7 animations, but a bit "chubby" in the model shots. Thanks for making this look like it should. I hope the "Beeb" asks you to do the CGI work on any new reissues!
Apart from everything else I've asked, I've only one request: Take control of The Mill and teach them to do SFX as well as you. This is superb stuff and How It Should Be Done.
I have a special request for you. Could you do some CG shots of the B7 episode 'Time Squad'. I've been dying to know which side is The Liberator's hangar deck that was used to haul that derelict ship in by manual. All we saw was close up exterior shot of the hanger, but which side is the hanger located? What does it look like at a distant range. You know what I'm saying?
this is Rodimus78. I hope that you're doing well and I wish you greeting sir. Sir, I had made a special request for you to do some CG shots of B7 episode 4 from season one. This particular shot involves the Liberator's hangar deck and you weren't sure about what I've meant about that at the time. I'm not 100% tech-literate, but I'm getting there.
When I've mentioned the Liberator's hanger deck, I was specifically refering to the ship's 'main shuttle bay'. If you're familar w/ the Enterprise's shuttle bay you know what I'm talking about.
We saw the ship's shuttle bay opening to get that derelict ship that Blake and Jenna were on to investigate, but we never saw which side of the Liberator's 'main shuttle bay' was at from a distance shot. We only saw it in close-ups. That's what I meant sir. I apologize for long delay of clarification and I hope that this information helps. Thank you for the hard work and effort and I wish you good fortunes.
just to make you feel at ease, it's true that I'm a hardcore B7 fan as you are, but like you I'm also a realist so it's perfectly okay with me if it's inaccurate. I don't care about accuracy at all, and I don't care how long it takes to get it done. You got clients to take of and bills to pay and a family to support. Just follow your heart, stick to your feelings and priorities...
@Rodimus78 A really lovely thoughtful post. I share your sentiments. I too am a hardcore B7 fan and I really enjoyed watching the 3 parts of this episodes with the enhanced GCI effects. Great work djren2007. I really wish the BBC was re-master the series with enhanced CGI. I have Star Trek TOS box-set with the enhanced CGI and it is fantastic. Perhaps the Beeb could as djren2007 to help out. :)
and when you feel like returning to your hobby, just have fun with it because it's your ship, not mine or anyone else's. You're the captain of creativity, the universe is yours. I look forward to see the results in the future at the time that you see best. Thank you so much for the reply, I wish you well and please make more CG magic when you have leisure b/c it's wonderful. Take care sir and good night.
Well done but when I saw the Liberator's first appearence in this fragment originally it had a more WOW effect on me !

Amazing work!
The Liberator model is brilliant.
The detail on the side of the London is fantastic.
Everything's very faithful, but better!
Plus the smaller things, the scan on the screen of the docking port, the wandering/scanning light across it.
Also the transfer tube, great work!
