Well if your looking for which game is more violent then definetly the first one. The second one is totally fucked(especially on the wii) due to those fucking red blurry cencors Rockstar was forced to put on the game thanks to the assholes at the ESRB, if the game WASNT cencored, id say go get 2, but it seems like everything else about the first one aside of the violence is better than Manhunt 2. This is a tough one because there both great. Just get both of them if you can find them.

Is it just the fact I haven't progressed far enough, or is Manhunt 2 nowhere near as gory or good? They do cut scenes that are VERY blurryish (think old old VHS tape quality with flickering and darkness) when you do executions, and this overall isn't as good as the first. I have only reached the second checkpoint, but still. When I do an execution with a syringe, I can't even see what's happening; it looks like I'm cutting his throat, but with a syringe? This is on the Wii BTW, if that matters.

i downloaded a ps2 emulator, and manhunt 2, i got the game to run but at first the gameplay Was REALLY choppy, i had to fuck with the settings for an hour to make the FPS better, so when the game was finnaly playable i couldent properly map the controls to my keyboard, so i couldent make danny move.

the point of this game is try to scape from the project hunters, and kill'em with any weapon and any violent kill...its a great action violent game, very real, try to play the first game before this, the story is different but i think the first one is better than the 2nd,in this game all is a Manhunt and u r the dam.

DEFINITELY play the 2nd one first, and when you think you like it, go play the 1st one, and then you will be like whoa this is way better. Or don't play the 2nd one at all. I'm 20 minutes into this game and sooo disappointed due to the censors. This game is just like a Saw movie: without gore, you have little. Although, Manhunt 1 had a way better storyline and characters too, so not just all gore. God this 2nd one is so so disappointing. I hope Rockstar somehow lost money on it.

In Manhunt,the emphasis is on the type of execution,on the detailed cruelty and violence,and this makes it obscene; banned in many countries. Don't know how it is everywhere else but in the uk we have 18, 18 is the highest rating a game can get without being banned. On my psp version i can see all the kills and it is not censored. To be honest i did not know there was a censored virsion until i saw some vids on youtube. You learn something new everyday ;)

By the way i have no mods or uncensor patches,It's just how the game came, My psp is official firmware I will not use custom firmware for fear of being bricked.
