  • how many tires did you use? 16 ?

  • clean rx8

  • You mean "RX-8 power brakes all the way up the hill"?! Reminder: 156 torque... laughable!

  • what a chomp. nice waste of tyres.

  • too much money for crazy thinks

  • yeah im sure u can get awsome mpg on a corvette as long as your gramma is driving it, no one gets a vette and doesnt floor it...

  • @xOoA7XoOx majority of people who own corvettes are retired senior citizens.. they don't floor it much at all.. if ever..

  • @Takeoverartist1987 agree 100%

I've seen tons of corvettes! ALL owned by retired senior citizens....

  • @Takeoverartist1987 That's true, that's why they didn't used to make an effort to engineer their cars for handling until the recent year where they want to appeal to the European market.

  • My golf caddy can do that

  • @Schmooglemale good for you

  • A nice waste of a car mechanically. Fuck wit.

  • Nice tires :DDDDDD

  • idiot!!

  • thats jokes

  • Not to hate cause that was "aiight for a beginner", but anyone can hold the E-Brake and burnout. I have an RX-8 as well. Come back when you can do that without holding the E-Brake. Lol It's called horsepower not E-Power. Lmao!

  • i would never do that to my car..

  • Wow that looked like a slug taking a shit it was such a slow burnout. Get a 454 in your life...fuck stick

  • @ballsyacks It was uphill with brake you slow turd.

  • we used to do reverse drops, let it roll back then throw it low gear,LOL

  • lol @ comments section. nice burnout

  • NIce looking car...................shoulda made it sound like a rotor to start with....not a bad atempt at a burnout, for a beginner!

  • i dont get it how the tires can take so much? when do they actually BURN OUT?

  • ek9 type R FTW !

  • @MrButterneo I 2nd that, b16b all the way.

  • I own a FD!!!

  • I drive a Miata :)

  • That's a hella nice color on your buddy's 8.

  • so you think that's funny? which part?

  • Not a burnout. Brake stand. Lame.

  • che spettaolo di macchina!!!!!!!

  • Did use get home? Lol

  • nice one bro but where do u live? i think there tires are cheap and i wanna buy new tires :)

  • it sure is nice to have money for brand new tires...

  • I was seriously thinking about getting one of these this year...the terrible mpg and high insurance/high maintenance were a deal breaker though :(

  • doing that with such an expensive car.. what a noob..

  • Why buy this when u can buy the sexy ms3?

  • @MrFlyestNerd That is very sexy. I have the non hatchback version (wish i had the hatchback though). But I would love to have an RX-8 for the engine. Its not the most reliable, sure. But it being unreliable means I'd spend more time under the hood than I would with an ms3 and build a stronger bond with it. Ya know?

  • @sicjustinmagot Yea, but they only make the Mazdaspeed 3 in a hatchback so u dont have a non-hatchback version, also the Rx-8 has a fail Rotary Engine that delivers low amounts of power and dumps loads amount of gas into it. The MS3 is turbocharged and direct injected that produces more horsepower then this car does stock and its about 10,000$ cheaper.

  • @MrFlyestNerd I have a normal Mazda3. It isn't a Mazdaspeed. Dildo. And its all a matter of opinion.

  • @MrFlyestNerd MS3 is faster in a straight line, but an RX8 will out handle it....Personally I like RWD a lot more than FWD but I agree, for 10K less, the MS3 is a good contender.

I was really disappointed when I drove an RX8. Decent handling but horrid acceleration. I had an automatic [4 speed] RX8 race me and it was laughably slow for a car that costs that much.

  • @SunnyForShort Yea tru but with some coilovers and a rear sway bar, the car will perform just as good as the RX8 with only an additional 2k

  • I've never understood the point of burnouts... It's just wasting tires.

  • @StefanSu91 Looks quite cool and is fun doing them.

  • Beautiful car. I want one so bad.

  • you just fuck your tires up!!..

  • i bet thats tha only way you lil car can do a burnout!

  • gay

  • gay

  • Also I'm sick of hearing the, "lets see what we can do with a 5.7L rotary". Most 4 rotors put out 400 horsepower, that's about the same displacement plus they are not reliable, are not suitable for everyday driving, horribly inefficient, and will never be seen in a production vehicle thus it doesn't exist so why keep bringing up an engine to compare which will exist in a production vehicle. I don't hate the rx8 its a great car, I own a 04' grand touring but you can not make outrageous claims

  • can get from a full exhaust tune and intake through the RENESIS is maybe 10hp, go research rx8club and other forums if you dont believe me. Also no matter what form of forced induction on the rx8 your looking at maybe 350whp realiable power, again you dont believe me its called research rx8club is a great source, read up. You can make 385whp easily off of a ls1 (which is what a ls6 really is only difference is a larger intake manifold) NA if you did full intake, full exhaust, cams, and tune

  • comparison between large and small displacement engines. The s2000's f20c puts out 120hp per litre, does that make it better than a ferrari enzo 6.0 litre v12? I think we all can agree the answer is no. The point is that no matter how you slice the pie the ls6 and pretty much all 2010-up domenstic v8's and all lsx platform small block v8's are better than the RENESIS. In the end power is power 365hp is more than 232 and you can not argue that plus when comparing modifications the most you

  • I can't imagine how much that hurt that car to do that. This isn't a Mustang. Its a corner carver. Ugh. Both of my Mazdas cried in agony at that.

  • @americansmark shut up you own two very crappy cars lol.

  • Nice, but can he burnout without holding the brakes?

  • yall must get tires for free with those kinda burnouts ....lol..but sweet

  • sickkkkkkkk

  • ......SELL IT !!!

  • mom can i have money for new tires?

  • @DerTrommler06 have you done your homework ??

  • ora la puoi pure buttare.

  • Rotaries and Pistons are two very different engines, I own both a RX7 13B and a Pontiac G8 GXP, the rotary whilst doesnt make 1 third of the power than of the G8 will out handle the G8 hands down, until we get to a straight. I am still yet to see a track which has a finish line on a corner.

At the end of the day Rotaries are power to weight ratios V8s are just pure brute power

Sadly to say I have seen 4 Rotaries blow up on the dyno to 1 LS1 V8 in 2010

  • @FRTDriftLord are you really trying to compare an older (obviously nonturbo) 13b to your big brand new v8? look at the turbo 13b from a 3rd gen and you'll see it puts out just over half your horsepower, and before you say anything my rx8 does the same thing being n/a and my engine is almost 5 times smaller than yours! and it wont even take a turbo for me to get to your hp! and as for them blowing up.. theres plenty of v8s blowing up on here but you must not wana see that...

  • What year is this car?

  • My son has a stock 2004 RX8 and it is an amazing little car. However, my 3,850 lb., 2006 4.0L Jeep Rubicon Unlimited with 33" mud tires would also smoke the tires up a hill if I mashed on the throttle and applied the brakes at the same time (power-braking). Sorry, this video is not impressive, nor is it representative of any vehicles power.

  • @hemi57 Yeah I agree. My car could do that with out the brakes once the turbo is spooled.

  • I'm just tired of people grouping cars based on where they were designed and how that relates to how good they are. All car companies make shitty cars all the time. They all usually offer a few good ones and occasionally car companies produce great cars regardless of where they were designed.

  • @JJJCHEVY I like you, youre a smart man who thinks rationally unlike most of the other people here.

  • @seto44444 Thanks

  • Different cars are cool for different reasons. I love my RX8 because of hoe it feels to drive. Yeah its slower than a mustang (and gets worse milage) but I value the seat of the pants stuff. Muscle cars are in my opinion more bad ass while tuners are finicky and kinda nerdy but with tons of potential due to modern engineering. I'm just saying that I respect the owner more if he knows how to handle and fix/modify his car more so than if he just paid for it and showed up bragging.

  • Let me start by saying that I have a 2004 RX-8 and am a muscle car guy. I'm really getting sick off all this ricers and muscle car bickering. Muscle cars aren't as finely engineered and thats the point. They are supposed to be simple and yeah they don't handle well but nothing from the muscle car era did in comparison to any modern vehicles. Imports like my RX8 get tons of power from small displacement but honestly it isn't anything to brag about. It gets worse mileage than my old Monte SS

  • You also realize how expensive those 3 letters are?

  • i think the bottom line is, for the price range they fit, they are one of the most powerful cars in production.

  • XD the guy drift very slowly

  • no, its impressive that Japanese manufacturers can make small engines so well, and have cars that perform on the track so well yet Americans need big V8's to make cars that can only go in a straight line

think of how many V8 imports there are, very few. this second i can name Infiniti Q45 and V8 Soarer, yet the most famous engines are 90% of the time 3L or under, such as 2JZ and RB26. the Japanese just wanted to prove they could make a few V8's and theyre still better than Americans

  • @MrSparco777 but what would you rather work on? in my opinion old school muscles are the easiest. no fancy nuts and dumb covers over pointless things. some of the shit they come up with nowadays is fucking stupid

  • @Kent133 newer cars are a pain but late 80's to early 00's imports are easy, the only exception would be Z32 TT which are a bear to work on because the engine is crammed in but otherwise theres nothing hard.

i was surprised to see RX8 engine bays, just a bunch of plastic covers lol.

  • @MrSparco777 i know! it sucks

  • Yeah, piss pound that car hahaha

  • *guy with camera standing in the middle of the road*

*another rx-8 burning out comes by and runs over the camera-guy*

    finale = success

  • i just got a 2008 stock 231hp red rx8...its been almost a year that i'm driving it, till now no regrets at all...

  • If I was recording it, I would had been waiting to hear a CABOOM from the engine! :P

  • poor tyres^^

  • the clutches are gaRBAGE

SO GO BUY TIRES AND A CLUTCH

  • gooodbyeee tiressss

  • if you dont like the car .. give to me :D

  • 232 hp FTW

  • fair play its all for show, but at $5k for an engine rebuild, I'd be taking more care of my engine...

  • Needs more LSx

  • That's no burnout, that's just your cars lack of torque :D

  • this is what you do when you need new tires already

  • This guy must work for Bridgestone

  • it wont hurt a rotary the rotors move in a circle so theres no strain on it

  • woww i love rx8

  • ha not uch tred left now lol!

  • Typical ricer, sounds like a gas weed wacker.

  • @GMurphSC06GT Do you even know what ricer stands for? Race.Inspired.Cosmetic.Enhancements,,, dumbass he doesnt have ANY enhancements,,, what are u? 12 years old?

  • @NoReactionsNoBull No im 42 years old, with a car that will smoke any gas weed wacker car out there,PERIOD..........

  • @GMurphSC06GT

"ricers" will kill your shitty stang any day you redneck piece of crap

  • @oslegend Actually they won't. Tit for tat, an American V8 will pull harder and produce more power than any Japanese manufactured L4, L6, or V6. That's a fact. All of today's "top-end" Japanese sports cars come from the factory with a built in turbo, and still barely manage 300 horsepower. 2011 Ford Mustang GT uses an N/A 5.0L pushing 400+ horsepower. Imagine if we started putting turbochargers or superchargers on our cars, Jack.

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi ok buddy,, but lets see your muscle take a corner as fast as our shitty weak ricers....

  • @NoReactionsNoBull much much much easyer for an import. You dont need 65billion cc and 168 cylinders to take a corner mate.

What muscle can do with 6.0l ricers can do with just half of it.

i have 3 strong letters for you

    G T R

    enjoy

  • @NoReactionsNoBull ok you only ricer owers know nothing about muscle, im not biased about the cars i am about the drivers. an old muscle car can take a corner just as good as an old tuner a new muscle car can take a corner just as good and a new tuner. if not the muscle car wasnt built for just taking corners but its faster, and the tuner was built for just handing and not as fast...(dont include upgrades because you can modify both)

  • @NoReactionsNoBull Hey man no problem, A 2012 boss 302 mustang pulls .98 avg lateral G. and does 0-60 in 4 secs flat from the factory. Its no problem man.

  • @mazda6tuner99 Thats a 45k dollar car and still a big heavy one at that.... Just because they pulled .98Gs drifting in a circle doesnt mean it can rocket thru a corner at 70+ mph

  • @kjwade Beat an Audi R8 at the track, I don't see why it couldn't.

  • @mazda6tuner99 While that is impressive, its still a 45k car and we are talking about an RX8 here

  • @kjwade My answer would be a honda s2000. The f20 vtec motor in that car is amazing. Sorry I love ford and Honda lol

  • @mazda6tuner99 Thats not a muscle car but a honda really? lol come on man! lol

  • @kjwade Well i have a 2006 GT right now, and I honestly want a k20 ek or eg civic. I really want one lol their fast as hell. 12 sec car all motor or 10s with boost

  • @mazda6tuner99 lol Muscle car owners all over the world would hate you if they knew that lol.... I've secretly always had a crush on the accord but I am by no means a Honda guy.... S2k is pretty good tho, theres no way around that. I Drive a 6, and judging by ur name you used to also lol

  • @kjwade LMAO I know. Thats why i never say anything haha I use to have a 2005 Red mazda6S v6. super fun car to drive lol

  • @mazda6tuner99 try a rotary, it feels completely different. I can probably pour you a cup of tea in one.

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi

Too bad your steel crapmobile not only ways a ton, costs the same as an m3 which boasts a lot more torque and horses but looks pretty damn terrible and overplayed to every extent. And if you go "oh but its not modded" well, a hpf stage 3 will get an m3 to 1k horsepower with a shit ton of torque, a mustang can't even handle 1k horse power, the whole damn car would turn into tin foil.

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi

Too bad your steel crapmobile not only weighs a ton, costs the same as an m3 which boasts a lot more torque and horses but looks pretty damn terrible and overplayed to every extent. • @oslegend agreed.

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi first off your an idiot...they are only 350ish from factory w/ turbo for a reason to meet safety standards...for instance the 2.0t genesis coupe is only 220 something from the factory running low boost....hyundai came out and said you could run that motor on 30psi with stock internals and be fine making around 400hp tuned...i mean i v8 has more power duh but it also has 4 more cylinders...i just dont agree with this argument at all why dont we just agree we all liketo go fast

  • @MiddleFingerSaysHi ok let's look at straight numbers. my rx8 is a 1.3L. dynoed down at 205 whp, meaning that it puts out 157.7 hp per liter to the ground. the ls6 i just ordered is a 5.7L dynoing 405 at the crank. figuring a 10% percent loss from crank to ground (which is generous), that means that the ls6 SHOULD put down at least 364.5 hp, or 63.9 hp per liter. yeah some engineering douche. think of what we could do if we put a 5.7 liter rotary in our cars, Jack.

  • @bonestockrotorary It would not be able to start unless you had a starter motor the size of a 5 gallon bucket.. also I drive an vette with the 6.0 liter engine and get 32 mpg on the highway.. your little 1.3 gets just over 22mpg... some engineering douche.

  • @SpecialSause2 you shouldnt be talking, american car's are the first to fall apart.

  • @kumor768 You shouldn't be talking American cars don't require a quart of oil to be added every 1 thousand miles. Also i believe BMW is the first to fall apart.. If you like slower less reliable and less fuel efficient and more expensive vehicles be my guest to buy an import..

  • @SpecialSause2 lol, dude you fail at life.

  • @kumor768 yep! and they are space inefficient, UGLY as hell, dont bother trying to corner in them, and they need a quart of oil every 500 miles or so.

  • @SpecialSause2 your vette will NEVER get 32 mpg not even with the engine turned off. 9somehow it still drinks gas) also that big monstrous 6 litre v8 you have only produces what 400hp? less be thats crank rated hp? damn... thats some bs...why did you buy that thing? (cough womans car cough cough). the rx8 btw has a 1.3l engine that produces 245hp. (210 to the wheels) stock. hp per liter anyone? the rx8 can seat 4 ppl too. and it has a REAL trunk. and a man from kentucky named bill didnt make it.

  • @jdmnismomike My Vette sees 32mpg daily, dip shit.... sorry but your car may make 245hp but while im running low 12's and your stuck in the 14's in the 1/4 mile... Yea the rx8 is soooo great.. and that monstrous 6.0 liter v8 may only peak at 400hp it pulls through the rmp's from 2000 all the way up to 6500.. while your puny 1.3 makes 245hp and 15flbs of torque.... RX8=Fail...

  • @jdmnismomike god dude can you not see how much your car FAILS?! who cares about 1/4 mile times my dinosaur of a grandfather is the only one i know. oh and very smart american people.

im sorry 32 highway miles is a fucking lie. did you fail basic math? low twelves? also BS. gah you talk so much bs i gotta go wash my hands after typing a reply to you. oh yeah from 2000rpm to 6500.. wow! 4500 rpms?!! man! the rx8 can only double that.

obviously you dont understand my point.

  • @jdmnismomike yea it has to double that to make any form of power... which isn't much.. and its not just 1/4 mile that the vette destroys the rx8 its pretty much everything else.. cornering, acceleration, braking, and pretty much every other performance category ever devised.. and in that 4500 rpm the vette makes more power throughout the curve than any rx8 can dream of.. and low 12's indeed try 12.2 at 116.. and i dont fail at math as a matter of fact the car's cpu clearly reads 32mph..

  • @jdmnismomike Someone watches a little too much Top Gear.

  • @jdmnismomike Actually they did a test on this on the smoking tire and you can get 35 mpg with a V8 corvette. With the right driving technique. Your opinion is completely false because you can actually get better mileage with the corvette because mazda's rotary engine is complete shit when it comes to gas milage. even with the 6 speed you only get 30 miles to the gallon on the highway doing 55 in top gear. You fucking idiot.

  • @jdmnismomike I'm not bashing mazda or rotaries, not praising chevy, heck, I don't even like government motors....lol, anyways, the c5 vette w/ the ls1 will get 32mpg (but yes 5.7l pushrod, wtf, get a modern engine!). The mazda "1.3L" is actually a 2.6, because it acts similar to a 2 stroke, it spins 1/2 as much per full ignition as a regular 4 stroke piston engine. Yes, that guy is an idiot though ;-)

  • @jdmnismomike Exactly, when will people realise that because somebody has a 6L V8 that automatically means that their car is more powerful...

  • @jdmnismomike Other than the seating capacity and the fact that the rx8 indeed does have a trunk, everything else was pulled outta your ass. Yes, the rx8 has a rotary engine that does indeed produce amazing hp/L. Not 245 but 232 which is still by any means a lot. However, that rotary drunks fuel faster than you can blink, so I found it comical you bring up fuel economy as your first point. 2011 rx8= 16/23 mpg. 2011 corvette=16/26 mpg. Raped in economy by that 6.2l "monstrous" engine?

  • @IMEECHI well its get horrible gas milage partly because they have huge injectors for a non turbo setup... 420cc injectors....

  • @IMEECHI who buys a sports car for fuel economy anyways? Lol

  • @IMEECHI people have found that the rotary engines can get higher then normal if driven correctly, and your mpg ratings are ones that are found on the website for the cars, which are usually off by alot. We had a honda that was supposed to only get 30mpg, we got 48mpg... then another car that supposedly got 22mpg, and only got 16mpg. its really a wrong move to predict fuel economy. i personally find corvettes overrated. ill stick with my 1987 2.5l i6 BMW E30

  • @IMEECHI i own a wankel rotary 2004 rx8...not a mpg issue yet...

  • @IMEECHI dude i'm gettin a 94 300 zed.. 16/23 also, but its over 15 years older and, it doesnt eat oil. So yeah until rotaries get better helllll no. Thats why people swap LS's into FC's and FD's...

  • @jdmnismomike By no means is the rx8 a bad car, far from it.. but you act like it's God or something.. cmon man making all other rx8 owners look bad

  • @jdmnismomike

    still is slow

  • @SpecialSause2 GOOD GOD you must REALLY know a ton about cars! a 5 gallon bucket starter?!?! for a 5.7l rotary?!?! umm, how about no. the 787b was technically a 5.2L (4 rotor housing stacked together aka 26b) and it made around 800hp. for lemans. oh and it was the only japanese car to ever win the lemans. the next year it was banned because it was GOD.

  • @jdmnismomike Seeing as how that was a lemans car its kind of irrelevant when your talking about street cars...

  • @SpecialSause2 lol tons of companies (including a few you may have heard of re amemiya, petit racing etc) have made a 26b and drive it daily as street driven machines. mild tuning results around 500bhp.

  • @jdmnismomike really because instead of custom building a motor i can buy a mild cam and make that much power without running race fuel or breaking the bank... here it is in the simplest form possible VETTE > RX8

  • @jdmnismomike while your japanese 727b may have won lemans once the vette has won it countless times..

  • @SpecialSause2 did the vette win with a rotary-engine? meeeeeeeeeeep no! and it was the 787B...

thx to the FIA mazda quit motorsport, because they changed the rules and rotary-engines were no longer allowed. otherwise there would be more mazda wins...

  • @Morthelion The reason the vette didn't win with a rotary engine is because they are complete shit... And i guess we'll never know about more mazda wins because they cant compete... Mazda=Fail

  • @SpecialSause2 the fact that rotary-engines are shit makes their le mans win even bigger. and to say they can't compete is just stupid. if they just don't want to.

  • @Morthelion No it makes them winning lemans a mistake and they do want to compete, they just cant...

  • @SpecialSause2 the engines are shit but they made them winning...ok i don't have to understand this...

and why do you think they cannot compete? to slow? no money?

  • @Morthelion I dont see them winning... i didnt even see one in this years lemans race... and prolly all of the above..

  • @SpecialSause2 i don't remember any company joining a series and winning from the first race on. it takes years.

the reason that you can't see them on track is that they don't have a racing program going on...

  • @Morthelion ... ford gt, mclaren f1... ring any bells? it happens all the time

  • @tableoftisch you 're talking about le mans?

    Ford GT40 build: 1964, win 1966.

    McLF1 build 1994, win 1995

  • @Morthelion you totally missed the point dude, you said you dont know of any car that entered and won on its first time, both of those cars won the first time they were entered, who cares when they started building them, and i tried sparing you the embarrassment but you did it to yourself so i'll just say it, the MAZDA 787B which is powered by a... what? yep, seem to recall that winning too. youre dumb, stop talking, go drive a diesel.

  • @tableoftisch Both cars were tested during the years from building them to the day they raced the first time...so they did not win from first day on. And the FordGT raced the years before the le mans win.

And i still don't know what you mean with the wankel. you said wankel is shit. i said if wankelengines are shit Mazdas le mans win must be rated one step higher than any other le mans win, because they raced with a shitty engine.

  • @Morthelion I never said rotarys are shit, you did, i have an 04 rx8 and i love it. their engines are not shit, they can make just as much power as any other motor out there, and most of the time they can do it without turbos and they 1/4 the size! how is that shitty?!

  • @tableoftisch Ah ok you didn't say that. my fault...someone else did sry for that. and the mclaren discussion is pointles because mclaren is far away from beeing a real car company. building 100 cars every 15 years...thats nothing like a company in my eyes... and ford...i can't find any result of the debut race of the gt40...

  • @Morthelion mclaren still did it tho they built a car to the qualifications of the race sold it to the public n won their first time out, theyre a car company like any other regardless of what you think, albeit geared a lot more toward racin i understand, but mazda won its first time out too n couldnt win anymore only cause they were band the next year cause they were too light weight. ill have to say tho i didnt realize ford had raced once before in le mans before they won so i'll give ya that

  • @Morthelion And dude... are you honestly trying to say that a car company needs to put the first ever car they build straight into a race? thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard.. every company test EVERYTHING for years before they do anything with it, production or racing. and testing is not the same as racing.. the first RACE any of those cars were entered in they won, end of story, thats how it is and thats how they are judged. not by how long a company took to build them.

  • @bonestockrotorary If we put 5.7 liters in Rotary cars what would that give us? A count of 1 MPG? haha : )

  • @tmat56 it wouldn't even make it through the warm up... lol.

  • @bonestockrotorary If you had a 5.7 liter rotary you would get like 1 mile per gallon. Yeah some engineering you douche haha. dumbass watch what you say

  • @bonestockrotorary i can think of a couple things you could do with a 5.7 rotary... just to name a few: 1 badass burnout, some blown shocks and the craziest awesome death on youtube

  • @bonestockrotorary yeah you'd get like 4mpg if you could fit it. The awkwards design of the rotary would make it impossible to design a 5.7l rotary that would fit under the hood of a sports car... maybe a truck or something.

  • @bonestockrotorary nicely said mate
