It was a whole different ball-game back when I grew up in the 70's;..All the performers of that era,Feliciano ,Hendrix ,Jimmy Page ,Clapton, ,Frank Marino, David Gilmore, and all the other great one's put a passion and excitement in their playing that I just don't see today. And It wasn't just them;...They had great bands backing them also. Any of you youngsters want to hear a kick-ass liive album check out "Made in Japan" by Deep Purple..The drum solo song ( The Mule ) melts steel!!!!!

I always say that Jose Feliciano is indeed one of the greatest guitarists that's ever lived. Flamenco, latin, bolero, classical ect ect.... You name it and Jose can play it. Why he's not on Rolling Stone's 100 greatest guitarist of all time, is beyond anyone's guess.

Hendrix and Feliciano are two long time favorites of mine. I'd never heard Feliciano do Hendrix. Only saw Feliciano twice and I've always thought of him as a rarity in that he is equally masterful doing rock on solid body or acoustic. The London jam session with Hendrix in '67 probably happened when Feliciano recorded "Live at the London Palladium", a really great album. Thanks for this video.
