I think what you're missing is the fact that she just didn't DECIDE to do that. If she had the credentials (degree, research, references etc.) to get picked to TRY, then she has most likely been on digs before (or worked with artifacts in a conservatory setting.) A person of that caliber would not do that on purpose. So I see it as El Douche Bag Hawass yelling at a diabetic for taking insulin. If she could have not done it, she wouldn't. Ok, the whole series is scripted 100%. I went inside the king's chamber and knows all the tunnels and ladders up to the relieving chambers very well. This is not a hectic journey at all like they exaggerated here. In real life, there's no way those freshmen interns get a chance to work with Zahi as any seasoned Egyptologist would die to get this break. However, my point is, why does a world personality like Zahi need to be part of this tasteless melodrama in the name of reality show?

I think what you're missing is the fact that she just didn't DECIDE to do that. If she had the credentials (degree, research, references etc.) to get picked to TRY, then she has most likely been on digs before (or worked with artifacts in a conservatory setting.) This peeing was probobly staged and Zahi Hawass was overdramatizing for character effect and entertainment. Remember it's a REALITY TV show. I enjoyed seeing the artifacts and was entertained by the drama. In my opinion it is obvious there were actors and scripting. Also producers and directors who encourage the people in the show to be more mello dramatic, such over the top acting and drama such Hawass's tirades and a staged Zoe and a cameraman getting stuck in the pyramid.
