wow, i was at both shows they filmed this over. I never heard singing the whole time, and to be honest, i've been listening to this band for years and still don't know every word to the songs just because of how they are sung. never the less great show. saw them a week later at house of blues too. <3 them
@AIRXV I knew I'd get attacked by fanboys for saying that. I know it's not easy, and it just seems to be the new songs he is having trouble with. But seriously, he should know that the show is more important than trying to be awesome and play impossible guitar while singing. Another guitarist would fix everything.
@SumFallGrace The guitar isn't impossible, just the chorus is way too fast, compared to lyrics, i think, that's the problem.. Overall the song is easy on guitar. ;x
@SumFallGrace its hard for a 3 piece to be technical. i think if they had a rythm guitarist and pete didnt have to play it all he would be much better with the singing.
@Haveada I think so too but this song is pretty crazy to play while singing it's not the chorus that's hard it's actually the weird timing with the riff that he's playing. I play in a band and I have much respect for him playing it as is without missing a few words like I do.
@TheRevyr666 i play guitar and sing in a band as well, i run out of breathe, my playing is sloppy, and im pretty sure im off beat most of the time, i may be being a tad bit modest their, but thats why im saying they should get a touring rythm guitrist and theyd be even more awesome
@Haveada I agree I've been looking for a new guitarist anyway my lead never comes to practice. But I don't run out of breath I usually forget where I am and look down and forget where I'm at in the song. I'm getting better at it though.
@TheRevyr666 i try my best, and i wish i could get a lead, but being that i live in a small oil drilling town there just arent any other decent musicians than what ive got, so i just play what needs to be played, sing what needs to be sung, and im pretty sure it sounds terrible, its getting better, slowly but surely
@Haveada Hey I know what you mean. I live in the mountains of Upstate New York It took me 4 years to find a drummer and bassist for a hard rock band anyway. But doesn't matter how it sounds as long as you love doing it.
Next time they want to shoot a DVD concert, they should do it in a city where people actually know how to mosh and aren't just standing there like a bunch of fruits.
