@doubletrouble8v not really. It's a visual masterpiece but the story leaves much to be desired. Worth a watch but it wont blow u away. And this is from a big sci-fi fan. Ur better off watching Star Trek 2009. I would say the soundtrack in Tron is pretty beast tho. :D

@omdway Agreed, and it doesn't help a significant chunk of the central premise (ie the conflict between Kevin Flynn and Clu) fits conspicuously well as an overextended metaphor for a "the damn compiler broke my code" moment. You'd expect that anybody writing a film such as this one would go to reasonable lengths *not* to have anybody who codes associate the film with feelings of vague annoyance!

into Geniaal. So maybe that's where the mistake was made ;)

@HangPatter You may be right. I was just being a spelling nazi, I've seen a few people use the english term "genial" which has a meaning along the lines of "cheerful/festive" because they've somehow gotten it into their heads that it means "genius" or that it's just a jokey made-up term.
