@1andrewman1 I know that's stated as canon by the creators but it doesn't make sense anyway since Earth itself is moving through sapce. If the time-machine couldn't as well you'd just end up time-travelling into vaccuum.

@VASACHANNEL Beauregard Tannen is Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen's father. At the time in 1864, Buford was only around 10 years old, while Beauregard was in his thirties.

Hey, the writing in this show isn't half bad. "All that racket just to say 'hello'". You can compare this to the movies all you want (in my opinion, that would be missing the point), but it has better writing than most cartoons nowadays.

Wow, Doc has changed. In the movies he was afraid to sneeze for fear of changing the future. Now he's ok with trying to stop an entire civil war battle from taking place.

Ah well, it's a kid's show. I don't think that technically this cartoon is canon to the series...

In any case, he's done this kind of thing before. He brought Marty to the future in BTTF II in an attempt to save his future family life, risking a time paradox.
