The intro theme for Tetris actually went unused, but it can still be found in the game's data via hacking. In the actual game, the title screen is silent, which may have been unintentional.
@SuperAwesomeTiago I was playing this the other night and thats exactly what I thought. It sounds just like the music that lays when Don Flamenco is doing his little dance.
Holy crap. I just put this video to run on a background while I did other stuff, and when the fast versions started running, a slight panic rose up. Damn automated reflexes.
Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies!Ahhh.... I've always liked this track the best! Always! Especially this part! 01:04 - end. I just never knew the title!
02:53 and this too! I've spent too long looking for these! Finally!
No problem. Also, I heard some guy on here say on some video that song C was the music that played when Nintendo put you on hold when you called them back in the 80's. Don't know if that's true though.
Looking at the "Seal of Quality" makes me wonder why they removed the "of Quality" part. I only scarcely remember getting new games that actually had the "Seal of Quality" on them because I was very young when they stopped using it.
I dunno, I can understand because the beginning is very misleading.
However, this game has great music, even if there is 4 different songs to it (3 in game and the ending). The Nutcraker song (as I call it) is my favorite of them all.
My heart skipped a beat at 3:16

I loved tetris as a kid, sadly its given me a sort of carried on version of the tetris effect : /

Is it me,or does the song at 3:37 sounds like Don Flamenco's intro in Mike Tyson's Punch-out? Maybe I've been playing that game too much...
SuperAwesomeTiago 1 year ago
Well, they're both developed by Nintendo. Though they both have different composers.
Doommaster1994 1 year ago
@Doommaster1994 maybe they're both references to some Spanish song, which is weird because Tetris is from Russia.
SuperAwesomeTiago 1 year ago
@SuperAwesomeTiago FYI, Don Flamenco's theme is AKA "Carmen Overture". Listen to the VOCAL version!! ;)

haha yeah I don't know.
All I know is that my dad would've killed me if he saw an outrageous phone bill charge because his kid called Nintendo.
