  • PAUL MCCARTNEY man!!!

  • I love it all, I should say though, Ernie, Stand by Me is an easy song to learn on bass, come on! lol

  • @JoshSigurdsonMusic Yeah wtf... I think he was more messed up then John to screw this up.

  • awesome bit of singing from stevie wonder in cupid near the end

  • the matchless sweet/sour harmony takes its bow

  • IT SOUND'S LIKE THIS BEause lennon is in harmony with himself ..we just can;t hear the lead!!thats why he pop's in and out .sound's strange i know.....what he's hearing in his ear is different then nwhat were hearing .this stuff was never ment to be heard!!

  • John or Nilsson? Are you kidding? Cupid was all Stevie.

  • who was singing Cupid? Was that john or nilsson?

  • I really hate to say this, but I actually like not being able to hear John... He is really crazy (and innoing) in this. Probably the coke.

  • gosh drugs really do make you play like shit, except for marijauna, but all the other shit really just sloshes your playing

  • You can't even hear Lennon's vocals on this recording. Guess the studio got tired of his complaining and turned his mic down.

  • paul is playin the drums

  • Very cool...obviously it's rough sounding, but for being off-the-cuff, the band comes across pretty cool. Thanks for posting!

  • BASS IS OUT OF TUNE!!! Why oh why didn't Paul play it? He's soooooo good!

  • from 1969-1974

those two guys never see each other?

  • I don't know. I know areound 1974 they had reconciled to degree and hung out ALOT when John was dating May Pang. And apparently they continued to visit each other when John was back in the Dakota doing the househusband thing. On another youtube video (John and Yoko are on a talk show before 74) he said that he'd had dinner with Paul...so perhaps?

  • thats so cool that they did sam cooke

  • and thanxs from brazil for jesse!!!

  • Wow, an amazing piece of rare music. They still sound SO GOOD together. Love Paul and John. Love 'em...

  • merci merci jetwaveradio

  • Stevie is here to guide us. What a blessing... so clear, even in this confusion.

I hope that the engineers are at peace with themselves for the way they captured a truly unique moment in spacetime.

  • Paul's voice is just beautiful!!!

(especially when he sings together with Stevie at 3:50)

  • it almost kinda comes to gether at the end when wonder starts singing

  • Lucille by Little richard

Stand by me originally by Ben E King...Though Lennon Covers it on his record "Rock And Roll"

Near the end a Medley that consists of "Cupid" "Working on the chain gang" And "Take this hammer" I know Chain Gang is by Same Cooke...but the others I'm not so sure

  • "Cupid" is by Sam Cooke, too.

  • thank you so much!!!!! that was AWESOME!

  • Paul sounds like his usual wonderful self here....but John really needed to calm down already...lol..still, this was really cool to hear. Thanks for posting this.

  • John was coke during this session. You can hear him ask Stevie Wonder if he wants a "snort" and then later in the recording, he asks "someone give me a snort."

  • Long time serious Beatles fans know this IS John & Paul without a doubt. Both have made a few references to the "session." A usually drunk Harry Nilsson joins them. Klaus? on bass.

    tinyurl dot com/yvz4at

  • kind of hard to "calm down" when you are snortin enough coke to shove a hippo thru a 4 min mile

  • Nice one, man. I'd heard a poorer quality snippet of this but this one is a real revelation. McCartney's dying to make some coherent music and get it on but Lennon's just so wired he can hardly sing straight

  • fuck me this is the first song i learnt on the bass why cant he play it

  • Harry sounds rotten here. 'Stan Barmy! Stan Barmy!'

  • Thank you so much, JetWaveRadio.

  • Apart from the famous one with keith moon, do any pictures exist of john and paul together in the mid-late seventies??

  • apparently may pang has a pic wit john paul and ringo in the mid 70s in her book thats comming out i dunno tho... its just a rumor

  • nice!

  • I've been waiting yeas to hear this. Thanks for the post. Great to hear John and Paul one last time!

  • Thanks for posting this and the work you have done.
