disrespectful of what? it's appreciative, especially when it's unprovoked like that. most of the time a musician plays for the people so if anything an applause is disrespectful to the other listeners... besides, a player of his years is well warmed to performance so that applause or expected 'interruption' doesn't hinder the technique. what are you talking about?

disrespectful of what he's playing... the point is that he came there to play so the people can listen to it. Clapping is terribly rude. He knows the people came there to listen but when they interrupt like that its just horrible. I don't get how people can clap during a great performance it kills me.
