Hey man! I just bought the same one from Dell for about $11. The only problem is that the mic doesn't cache the sound. I am using Vista speech recognition, and the mic is recognized to be plugged in, but no sound it changed to the computer. I haven't spent more than 5 minutes on it so far, but if you have any suggestions, that would be great.

i got a normal microphone and it dont even work i just bought it today i plug it in but no sound.. is there a speical projram i have to use?

cord length: approx 7'10"
sound quality: ... not great.. tried playing a bass-heavy song.. sexyback... doesn't sound too great
