While there may be many versions of this song, for me, Dennis has always owned this tune. Could have something to do with the fact that we were both members of Mr. K's H.S. band in the day but probablly has more to do with the fact that Dennis had an awesome voice.
So do I.. There are so many versions out there, but Dennis Lowell really delivers the song's message properly here. Having the help of his freakin awesome back up group didn't hurt either
Thanks for the kudos, but the review we got for this side said" The Explorers need to keep looking." - the "shuffle" beat in the arrangement made me very uncomfortable, as I had learned the song by myself with a very strong triplet feeling, so when we got to the studio, this "shuffle" beat seemed wrong, but I was just a kid, and didn't speak up...... oh well...
This is my favorite of their`s. Dennis Lowell was the only guy who topped Sinatra`s performance of this !Their CD released a few years ago is super~!

I think I would program this over the flip, but both are fantastic - I'll keep my eye out for them now - Thanks for posting!!

Interesting. I always thought "Don't Be A Fool" was the better side, but I do love them both.
