That system came from before wow. I can't say it came from daoc either, but the item system will most likely be similar. Grey being shit and purple being the higher quality or higher level item. Once it gets to your level it turns yellow to match your level. Thats how it was in daoc

there is instanced and open world Rvr, if you WALK into a rvr zone you will be flagged for rvr and you can just que like in wow

i don't think so, if you could attack some1 outside an rvr area why make a rvr area? Because the area out of the RVR one is for questing (yes, you can do quests in rvr areas to)

from my understanding from what i have read RvR zones act like a sort of "danger zone" an overlap of two areas with opposing factions. These danger zones become bigger and bigger up until the final tier, which is a capitol city based area. Now, what seems to me the question... in the RvR areas your auto flagged for any opposing faction, so a dwarf can automatically fight a greenskin, but in towns there may be friendly "duels" like in mmos, where a player agrees for fun.

yep, in each landsscape there are rvr areas and if you go into it you can attack others in it! there are also keeps you can take with your guild. and it comes out in Q 2
