  • I just consider Buddhism to be a radicalist sect of Hinduism, which it is. It was only truly treated differently once it left india. There were hindu sects far more radical than Buddhism, but they weren't considered separate because they didn't leave India. So its safe to say foreigners really separated the two, especially westerners. How is the lady in this video an expert in any way. She can't even pronounce either word right. The amount of pretentious new age douche bags is really staggering.

  • Cast system was never allowed in the vedas. It's a man made thing.Ritulas are there for the sake of the ignorant who does not understand the whole philosophy behind the real hinduisam.Buddha is just another of many a men who realized himself and the eternal truth like any other hindu should. All the teachings of buddhism comes from hinduism minus some things.

  • HINDUISM IS A MOTHER OF SIKHISM, BUDDHISM, JAINISM

  • absolutely everything in buddhiss is taken from hinduism and jainism, buddhism is totally a hindu sect nuthin else, buddha ws a reformer nt the founder of a new religions tradition,he did reject sum hindu concepts like caste system but he ws right in doin tht coz it wasnt serving any purpose and dividing the society and mot of the modern hindus reject caste systems, buddha rejected animal sacrifices but he didi accept various vedic concepts,he ws a reformer nt a founder

  • buddhism stole everything from hinduism....everything..

name a single meditation or beeja mantra which is not discovered by hindu sages earlier. they just used those things under the name of buddhism which again a sanskrit term.

zazen, swastika, sutras, mantras(seed), yantras, mandalas, aum ..stolen from hinduism. without hinduism buddism wudn't be there,

  • My brothers Hinduism is like the Father of many religions such as Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. Prince Gautama Buddha was born a Hindu but He did not converted to Buddhism because he didn't develop a religion at this time just a belief which was somewhat similar to his Hindu philosophy. It was Asoka who actually spread the religion not Buddha or any of his disciples. And Asoka was Hindu too but He converted to Buddhism. Due to him Buddhism is the 4th largest religion in the world.

  • To make it simple, Hindus accept Buddhists but Buddhists don't accept Hindus.

  • i am both a hindu n buddhist

  • The major difference is that there is no such religion as Hinduism. It is a collection of various beliefs and gurus like the guru Gautama Buddha that western scholars put under the umbrella of what we call Hinduism. So people within India don't know there is a separate religion called Buddhism as all paths are accepted. Outside India, the guru Gautama Buddha's teachings have taken on strict dogmas including exclusive right to being the only path, which entitles it to the term religion.

  • Yeah, maby. But there are some deities in Buddhism that didn't came from Hinduism.

Such as: Pehar Gyalpo, Lha Chenpo, Avalokiteshvara, Shakyamuni, Tsiu Marpo, Setrap, Manjushri etc. etc. etc. etc.

  • lord buddha is a hindu prince. He give up hinduism . He embrace buddhism, he never practice hinduism. stupid kumarhindu.

  • LOL this stupid chink thinks hindus sacrificed animals and hinduism is based on caste LOL ahhahahahahha

    what an uneducated chink bitch

Buddhism is nothing BUT hinduism LOL

  • It's a straw horse argument. There are many paths within Hinduism as their are many streams that lead to the same ocean.

  • Hinduism is the mother of Buddhism. In the Gita (Chapter 4.7),Lord Krishna (the 8th incarnation of Vishnu) has said :"Whenever & wherever there is decay of righteousness, and a rise of unrighteousness then I manifest Myself!"

Lord Buddha (9th incarnation of Vishnu) came down to Earth when people were committing atrocities in society using the pretext of the authority of the Holy Vedas. Lord Buddha (Vishnu) came to set that straight. Victory to Lord Krishna & Lord Buddha! Victory to Dharma! OM.

  • Buddhism is an offshoot of Hinduism. Both have common practices like Vipassana and Samadhi. Even the Holy Dalai Lama has remarked that Hinduism and Buddhism are "like twin sisters". Moreover, in the Hindu tradition, the Buddha is considered to be the 9th incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is highly revered. In our home, we have both Lord Ram (7th incarnation of Vishnu) and Lord Buddha (9th incarnation of Vishnu) gracing our shrine, and we pay equal respects to both. Peace and OM.

  • The caste system in Hinduism is highly misunderstood. First of all, the principle of caste system is not confined to any one country. It applies to all human beings of all races, in all countries. This Sanatana (universal)principle is eternal and is not subject to change. It remains unchanged in the past, in the present & in the future.

  • "Caste" has to do with the qualities (Gunas) and karma of any human being. There are 3 types of Gunas that all beings are born with - Satva (Goodness), Rajas (Passion) and Tamas (Ignorance). These three gunas are found in every human being. Those HUMAN BEINGS who develop their SATVIC QUALITIES and operate in the mode of goodness are called BRAHMINS. Please read and understand Bhagavad Geeta - Sanatana Dharma (the eternal religion aka Hinduism) preaches equality and peace for all beings.

  • this is very stupid

the whole thing is that everything in buddhism came from hinduism

    even dalai llama said it
