  • These all look like Prototypes!!! Nothing like what you see in the streets!!!

  • IDK but this panamera porsche its kinda like the new 928 or 944

  • 8th and 18th minutes versions are pretty good to me

  • Looks like a distorted Cayenne ! Ugly is the word ! And the Roxster gets us further in ugliness !!!

  • I like 0:09 and 0:18 I'd like the panamera looks of that way the other pictures suck

  • well,if it looks anything like the pic on 14 sec then it will be a nice looking car in my opinion the rest just don't work for me

  • dud thats just camouflage they're keepin da real thin a secret

  • anyone who thinks this thing is ugly has taken the bait. this thing has more cladding and camo than the "Lotus Eagle" did. there's a few sneak peek photos floating around and this thing looks a LOT better than the floating turd they're muling.

  • Very true!

  • Ugliest car ever seen, even renault makes nicer cars... What a shame ! Buy a CLS and forget this shit.

  • The concept art is beautifull, but they need to be really carfull with this one. I really hope it look nothing like the models they tested, actually looks like they took parts from the Cayenne the 911 and the rear of a coxter to make the bodyshape...

I really hope this turns out good... btw: the Roxter is hideous.

  • Wow the shot at 14 looks awesome, but probably not going to look anything like that once it hits production :(

  • I don't know what to say lol...it has some merc on it...extended cayman? with cayenne and infinity with 2007 subaru spoiler? lol

  • Hope it becomes really good , the panamera and the roxster

  • I have seen a beautiful artist rendering of a Boxster with Carrera GT style cues. It has TopSpeed written over the image of Boxster. It looks like a real stunner. I had to apply it as my Background image on laptop. My Boxster will get upgrades next year. I am curious about the Panamera.

  • I believe that Porsche are making something special again using the 928. You should easily find about that in Internet.

  • I'm aware that Porsche is considering it.... It's all speculation and has yet to be caught testing. I expect it to be released after the second generation panamera.

  • having a cayenne and now seeing this, gotta say its beautiful

  • The Cayenne is the most inharmonious ugliest Porsche ever... Hopefully the Panamera won't be...

  • It's the question of taste I guess but I find the new one looking awesome especially the turbo model.

  • It's mean and when compared to most SUV's looks quite nice. But that's a relative thing.....

  • and yes i agree with you,the turbo has a great grill

  • This is dumb. They try to make a car that is meant to be big small, and a car that is meant to be small, big.

  • You mean BMW X6? By the way these days all cars almost look like the same.

  • The Panamera, it just needs to be smaller, and I'm sure it will look better w/out the tape.

  • I like the set the best from 0:21 to 0:37.

  • I just typed a 500 Character comment! Shame on me.

  • I'm not a big fan of the Panamera so far. But I'm sure Porsche will blow everyone away with their production model. I just really hope this doesn't turn in to the Tapiro. The Carma is okay, but I bet that's gonna turn into the Tapiro. If they go with the Carrera GT style dront end, I might reconsider the Panamera. But the spy versions we're seeing now is some of Porsches worst work. Hopefully they'll change the design. I like the 944, so maybe this is sorta the same,Ugly, but you can't hate it.

  • The whole concept of a four door porsche, something which doesn't even embody porsche is flawed. They ought to make a two-door four seat GT instead...

  • Yea compared to the other SUVs the cayenne is the best one, and also its deff worth the money. If the panamera is about $60,000 i would deff consider buying

  • Anyway CGTM6 should be post the video fairly soon.

  • So where do you think Porsches headed given what we discussed? We presented several good things and bad things. If Porsche continues in the direction they are headed they won't be a true sports car. However the dreamers, the true innovators in the company probably won't allow that to happen.

  • Oh yes, I forgot to mention that Porsche is making a comittment to producing a GT1 sucessor and going racing in the hihgest classifacation in 2010.

  • i like how they cut off the top of the headlight, making them different from all the other porsches

  • Yah, that's anice stylistic addition. Similar to the healdight on the Boxster. Thank you for subscribing.

  • That would be headlight.

  • I agree that it should be a sports two door. Supposddly such a thing is to be introduced a year after the Panamera debuts. A sports GT. However the entry level Porsche's neeed a little updating in the power department.

  • In around 2010/2011 Porsche will be making a small SUV based on the Audi Q5 platform. Itll be called the Roxster. Im actually disappointed in this,Porsche seems to be going the route of the dime-a-dozen BMW and Mercedes Benz rather than creating works of art only pretaining to the fantastic supercars theyve always created. Im fine with the Boxster,Caymen, and 911,I wish there was nothing more. The panamera shouldnt have 4 doors in my opinion,it should be like a 928: a 2 door GT car.

  • Yep that is true but they will be racing and building a new supercar and that cash has to come somewhere. My guess is the Cayenne is to be killed a year afterward.

  • Yea, the replacement for the Carrera GT. Not that I don't like the Cayenne or the idea of a 4 door 911, I just don't like what the new "family" cars have been doing to the image of Porsche. Don't get me wrong, I would prefer a Cayenne over pretty much all small SUVs. AND Porsche is going to develop a car on the VW GTI platform. I mean what's next? A Porsche Beetle? They have a huge stake in VW/Audi, I don't get why they have to make Porsches just another sports car. They're better then that.

  • It's really just diluting the brand. Thankfully Wendelin Wiedeking will be out. He's responsible for this. We need Ernst Fuhrmann even Peter Shutz to come back. We need to concentrate on racing and sports cars. That is what drives Porsche. Ferry once said "we don't build sedans that's for the company on the other side of Stuttgart." And now they are proposing a hybrid and a diesel . What's next? An electric car? Come on Porsche cater to the purists.

  • Exactly, that's what I'm saying.

  • Yes if Porsche continues on this toute they'll be Maserati or Ferrari. Some burnt out silhouette of the former company.

  • Come to think of it, Porsche also produced a 928 fourdoor one off in 1986 but it (obviously) wasn't approved for production.

  • You'll be seeing a lot of four door prototypes including the 989 in my upcoming ion video with cgtmay6 (I did most of the video but we're trying to get his subscribers to subscribe to me and mine to do likewise)

  • Wasn't that supposed to be Ferry's birthday present? People say he wasn't fond of it.

  • I'm not sure...that was at a time when I was out of the "loop" of insider info. The rear doors were hinged on the rear like a Mazda RX8.

  • Well I will have all those cars in my joint-project video with PorschecarreraGTmay6. I'll give you a teaser, one of the cars is the Porsche Tapiro.

  • That was, I think, a 1970 joint project with Porsche, VW and Italdesign that looked like a cross between a DeLorean and a Pantera.

  • Ok do you know what the 904 kangaroo was? The Porsche-March project?

  • 904? Yes but 904 Kangaroo? No! there were two joint projects with March that I know of. One was a GTP coupe for IMSA in the early eighties and the other was an open wheeler for Indianapolis in '89.

  • Ok offically it wasn't called the "Kangaroo" it was known as the 904 spyder. As for the march you hit it on the nose. Now do you know what the LMP 2000 was?

  • That was an unfinished project for the 2000 running of LeMans (LeMans Prototype 2000). I think the problem was that their engineering to get the new SUV in production was being compromised and got priority.

  • porsche t7? WSC-95? Footwork arrows?

  • The T7 was an early sixties prototype that evolved into the 911.The WSC-95 was the Tom Walkinshaw IMSA entry in the early ninties and also ran at LeMans. Footwork Arrows was a formula one car, but the details are a little fuzzy in my mind at the moment...(do I get a prize???).

  • You get the "I know every Porsche on the planet" award if you answer this three. Porsche varrera. Porsche 966(hint it raced in the 80's). Porsche dune(steve murkett).

  • I think I'm gonna get the booby prize. The only one of those three I'm familiar with is the 966, at not too much at that. I know it's 911 based and has RSR derivitive...runs GT3.

  • No cigar on that 966. It's a spyder version of the 956.

  • Well,That's OK.Someday you might want to hear about my own personal experiences in Porsche (and Alfa Romeo) racing going back to the CanAm days.

  • As for the rest you just going to have to sit tight and wait until CarreraGt releases my video.

  • Porsche Varrera was a minivan engineered in the early 1990's.

  • Correct! But I was quizzing Tecklec as you can see below.

  • Dear Porsche917LH: You are the man. I've only met a few people who share the same love for Porsche's as I do, and you're definitely one of them.

  • Oh, I forgot to ask, do you have one yourself?

  • As one can tell in my podcasts I'm rather young however my dad owns a 1979 RUF tuned (note tuned becuase then RUF wasn't a recognized manufacturer) 911 SC and my grandpa owns a 996 GT3. I'm quite the Porsche enthusiast.

  • Oh, yea, I'm just 15 myself... at 6 years old I begged my father for years to buy a Porsche, just begged him like I was pleading for my life. Then, when I was 10, in 2002, I pulled up to my driveway with my mother in her truck for the biggest surprise of my life: A speed yellow Boxster S with like 20 miles on it. It was just from the dealer. I got out of my car and almost passed out. Not even kidding,it was one of the best days of my life. He still has it,I drove it for the first time last week.

  • Sounds good.

  • Thank you! I take that comment with the utmost gratitude and aprreciation.

  • A four door...YIKES!!!I think the only other four door Porsche (aside from the Cayenne) was in 1968 with a body built by Rueter.

  • Nope, pinifarina actually but it was based on a design by reuter.

  • That would be Reutter.

  • OK,well,I was half right!

  • Can't wait!

  • Well it sure beats the cayenne.
