  • beautiful replica!!!

  • and, it's flight characteristics are great too. No hidden things out there to bit you.

  • 80% replica? the engine or another parts of the plane are originals?

  • Nothing is original on the replica. The whole plane is 80% scale.

  • How good a build is the airdrome aeroplanes sopwith pup

  • Actually, very simple. It utilizes the popular tube and gusset construction that required NO special tools and can be done by anyone with a drill, pull-riveter and a decent workshop. All the Airdrome Aeroplanes kits are very complete and the directions and plans couldn't bee better.

  • Wow! If I didn't already have the DR-I I'd certainly build one of these beauties. May anyway when my ship comes in. Ya dun good Rob!

  • About the way Sharon feels about her Morane. The Morane flies great and is like a mini-cooper with wings. But, that DH2 is one sweet looking and flying machine. Harvey says it's a real pussy cat in the air too. OH well.. "sigh" maybe next year or two.

  • Great stuff! If there was a plane that could ever compete with the E.III as far as my favorite, this would be it.

  • I slobber and drool everytime I look at it. It's got incredible visibility!!

  • Empty weight = 343 lbs. Cruising speed @ 55 mph. Max speed @ 60 - 65 mph. Engine: Valley Engineering Big Twin (or equivalent) Engine package weight @ 118 lbs.

  • that's a great airplane!! What are its specifications?

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!! Now I'm wondering if I should stop work on my E.III and build this.

    GREAT JOB, Robert!!
