  • the pick-working is the most important thing in this song ... do you play up and down on the rhythm?

  • @b0n3z0r my pick-working is super awesome alternating face style.

  • Seems 6 people need to have their mothers punched eh?

  • how do you tune it into drop a when you dont have a massive bridge like a jackson or ibanez?

  • finally someone does a great cover, awesome job man

  • what kinda strings r u using? nice video man

  • I wouldn't suggest punching mothers either, but this is pretty good cover, cheers =]

  • can you share me the tabs???

  • U wronged all the middle part, that is the only one who needs some "skills".

  • @Peppeblackmetal Come back when you learn how to speak.

  • Enjoyed your guitar playing. I think you would like to experience The Blade CA Electric Guitar video.

    Search on youtube...toocoolgreg

  • Great job man.

  • thats a dope cover..

  • I'm always impressed by how clean your playing is, man. Great stuff.

  • you sound a bit off during the 1:17 part. I know it's your own interpretation and it differs from the original, because you figure it out by ear, but it just collides with the bakc track :P

other than that, a very impressive cover :D

  • I think that is due to two different parts are played there, given that the two guitarist do that often, play in octaves, or in this case a slight minor of each other...

  • No man, he doesn't play in a different tonation, he plays different notes somewhere in there :P

I understand that you're talking about when guitarists play a harmony?

  • baby g is right, there is a combination of 3 notes towards then end that i only play right in this vid once...mostly because i couldnt quite tell exactly what to play and i reasoned that when i went back and watched this vid i would figure it out. It does clash sometimes, but oh well.

  • I was guessing he meant the 3/5/6 on the "a" string the first part of that "bridge". there is a strong dissonance there, which it sounds like you are in the wrong key, I think it is right, but guitar #2 is playing a minor 3rd in the same fretting fashion that makes it really odd sounding, but I think you have the root notes right...

  • Yeah, the way that I played it is a series of hammer-ons and pull-offs on the a string in the sequence of 5-3, 5-3, 7-3, 3-5, 3(d)-3-0, 3-2-0...it's definitely the root scale.

  • My FAVORITE Mastodon song, EVER. And I love all their stuff.

  • best mastodon song ever

  • Really nailed the tone on this on, i couldnt tell which guitar was yours! This song is one heavy MotherFucker

  • seriously, sounds fuckin perfect

  • Mastodon's music has definitely come a long way, but their old stuff still freakin' rocks! Great job!
