you sound a bit off during the 1:17 part. I know it's your own interpretation and it differs from the original, because you figure it out by ear, but it just collides with the bakc track :P
I think that is due to two different parts are played there, given that the two guitarist do that often, play in octaves, or in this case a slight minor of each other...
baby g is right, there is a combination of 3 notes towards then end that i only play right in this vid once...mostly because i couldnt quite tell exactly what to play and i reasoned that when i went back and watched this vid i would figure it out. It does clash sometimes, but oh well.
I was guessing he meant the 3/5/6 on the "a" string the first part of that "bridge". there is a strong dissonance there, which it sounds like you are in the wrong key, I think it is right, but guitar #2 is playing a minor 3rd in the same fretting fashion that makes it really odd sounding, but I think you have the root notes right...
Yeah, the way that I played it is a series of hammer-ons and pull-offs on the a string in the sequence of 5-3, 5-3, 7-3, 3-5, 3(d)-3-0, 3-2-0...it's definitely the root scale.
the pick-working is the most important thing in this song ... do you play up and down on the rhythm?

@b0n3z0r my pick-working is super awesome alternating face style.

No man, he doesn't play in a different tonation, he plays different notes somewhere in there :P
I understand that you're talking about when guitarists play a harmony?
