  • i also like to get atleast 4-6 cans of different beans each week, you can get all different types of bean varities for 68-98 cents a can, its great ill mix a couple varities in a container, then each day ill have a salad, i get organic spring mix or half half, and ill add a serving of the mixed beans to it and other veggies like mushrooms, chopped bell peppers, chopped radish, and a touch of fat free shredded cheese, and you get a proper meal with cheap ingredients that will last you a week

  • would you consider 1 cup of whole grain old fashioned oats with 2 tablespoons of ground flax seed and cup of light or greek yogurt a sutieable cheap meal variation?, especially as a pre workout meal, you can get a 42oz thing of old fashioned whole grain oats for 3 bucks and it lasts over a week, plus yogurts always on sale, ofcourse though i only get light or greek.

  • @wazrasta Its a GREAT starting point from which you can slowly increase calories! Some individuals will 100% need MORE calories, but as a starting base this is super solid!

  • @guittarist Thanks for the support, I am not familiar with the UK at all in terms of brands, a standard product for Protein is one called ON that is sold everywhere, I used a tub once and it was not bad.

  • @AnotherGaminChannel Brother its TWENTY FIVE POUNDS. It would normally cost at least double ($400 at a store). Its four scoops per day and thats 120 days worth, quite a lot

  • This may sound crazy, but chocolate milk has been shown to increase your recovery rate over a shorter period of time immediately following workout. Try to consume about 32oz. of good whole chocolate milk within 30-45 minutes afterwords.

  • Healthy diet? My kidneys hurt just thinking about that much protein. Of course on 145 grams of carbs a day I wouldn't be able to think anyway.  Eating this way (especially if they don't get the veggies) for an extended period of time would certainly leave a person deficient in micronutrients. Would def need a multi. Still dig your vids and info, but I can't agree with this one......

  • @omgazngnsta i would cut down to like 1900 kcal a day if i were you, so try this:

    take all of chef buffs meal recs and multiply them by 0.8

    also: do NOT supplement the whey! go to a gnc store or even a walmart if there is no gnc store but WHEY IS CRUCIAL! especially in your post workout shake!

    also important: dont forget the quick carbs for your post workout! do like 40g whey and 60g dextro or malto (sugar). you can sup the quick carbs by drinking juice (just make sure you get enough)

  • @HerbSmoulder It would virtually be the same except eliminate ONE egg and lentil meal and you'd have about 2000 cals!

  • Can anyone recommend me any other protein powders that are sold in like 2-5lb cases. I don't want to buy any shitty protein with fake sugars and stuff added to it.

  • @rspkk0 Hey I'd recommend BUILDING your own custom mix then on a place like the above link (true protein or another equivalent) as YOU decide whats in it. Just want pure whey isolate? Cross-filtration? Done. Just be warned: REAL PURE protein doesn't taste like chocolate, it tastes like shit (but its good for you)

  • One way I save money is bulk chicken breasts.

    Buy chicken in bulk, Pre cook it then freeze it. I cut it in strips mostly and then toss them in a frying pan to warm them when needed. saves money and time. I usually cook 6-16 breasts at a time.

  • @rspkk0 Exactly Sometimes i will add some herbs or lemon juice to flavor but usually not. I have two great pans one I never need to add anything to it to prevent sticking the other I add just the smallest amount of butter just to prevent sticking..

    There are a billion ways you can fry chicken breasts without making them bad. the second trip to the frying pan is just to heat. I used to microwave them but I found it would destroy the thinner parts and sometimes burn parts without warming others

    Also, in one of his books, John Berdardi said he doesn't recommend a multivitamin but doesn't say why. Do you know?

  • @realgeneralful JB doesn't recommend a multi vitamin because it can over supply certain nutrients you might get in your diet. At 6 eggs a day, its a relatively low amount, allergies would not be developed, I know individuals who I have been eating 8+ whole eggs a day for years with no allergies developed. As per the cholesterol question someone else asked, its largely a myth, you`ll be fine. As a side note, since ingesting 6+ eggs a day my cholesterol went from being average to being STELLAR

  • Are this many eggs over a week healthy? I was always told that more then 8 whole eggs over a week isn't good for your cholesterol...

  • @elmirBDS WRONG, i know bodybuilders who compete and eat bout 8 whole eggs a day, that hasn't done anything to them cholesterol, its a myth. U get sooo few chol. for one egg, ur ok, eat ur eggs.
