I miss Alexia so much :'( What I loved so much about her is that she can impress the audience even on the quieter songs like I'm not That Girl. I mean, let's face it, every Elphaba can blow us away when she defies gravity, and when she sings No Good Deed. IMO what makes Alexia so great is that she doesn't have to belt to impress us. Even her soft, quieter voice is enough to bring a tear to your eye. IMO there aren't many Elphie's like that.

When I saw Wicked last June Sarah Earnshaw (Dianne's standby) was playing Glinda that evening and she was AMAZING. I love this pair - they're my favorite cast after Kristin and Idina, but really, the original cast will always be the best. But Alexia and Dianne are definitely a very close second.

i watched dianne and alexia few days ago in london's apollo victoria theatre and they were amazing live. i would watch the muscial again if i have the chance. they make a great pair and i don't ask for a better elphaba or glinda, they were perfect!

What I like about Alexia, is that she's much easier to balance than Kerry ever was. It always sounded like Oliver and Dianne had a difficult balancing that woman's voice, no matter how BRILLIANT it was.

Alexia knows how to allow for a duet to be really a duet. She doesn't try to kill Dianne with her voice. I love Kerry to death, she's my favorite singer ever, but Alexia actually allows the duets to be duets.

Alexia is amazing. I saw her and gained goosebumps, I've never had goosebumps for any singer other than whitney houston. Alexia made EVERYONE'S eyes fill up. Amazing.

I honestly do not know how people cannot like Alexia! She's bloody fantastic! I have seen both Kerry and Alexia and, while I adore Kerry and her amazing vocals, I much prefered Alexia as Elphaba. She is just so different and refreshing and just... Wow! She and amazing actress! I would kill to have a voice like hers! I know this has been said many times, but it is so true: Youtube does not do Alexia justice! She is just... amazing!

People are just hardcore Kerry fans - to the point where they can't see ANYONE else playing this role. Also (and this will rile people), I've noticed a lot of people who diss Alexia don't seem to quite get the show, or the AGE of the characters. Alos, the references to her in The Lion King - clearly people HAVEN'T seen the show, because she sings a beautiful ballad and does.not.growl in it! Alexia is talented, and truly amazing. She is a TRUE talent in my eyes. This is wonderful.

Yes I agree with you InStyle2010. I mean I love Kerry, but OMG some people are just completely obsessed with her. They worship her like a freakin' Goddess or something. I like her as Elphaba but I am glad she's moved on and doing new things. And it just make me mad that people want to diss Alexia because she's NOT Kerry and doesn't have a voice like her. It's mainly those crazy Kerry fangirls! I adore Alexia and they just really need to get over themselves!!!
