  • The Constitution class frigates were the first line of defense. not the Lynx. Why do Americans have to overstate everything?. Fantastic ship though.

  • "She is an amazing vessel! When she got a hold of those winds, she just took off!" Gotta LOVE the way they treat her like a fine lady and a pure thoroughbred. What a fine creature of wind and sea! Sailing a ship like THIS is High Adventure! :-D

  • The most fastest vessel ever.

  • @SeaKatWaterSports Ehe...? Not really...

  • Damnably fine ships! Cost their lordships at the admiralty a lot of beauty sleep.

  • In 1812 Free Trade had a completely different meaning. Nice boat, though.

  • something just took hold of me with this story and thisd beautiful vessel I have dreams and one of them is to live on the seas on soemthing like this.. I feel tears in my eyes right now

  • Built to defend America against the British? come on, it's hardly a warship. I'd like to see the Lynx go up agaisnt something like the HMS Victory, because that is a warship.

  • @IIproductionsII I realise this video emphasizes the drama of her service, but please learn more about what the Lynx actually accomplished. She was not a naval warship, she was a private letter of marque meant to harass British merchant ships and run the blockades. She was perfect for this because she was so fast and agile, and at the time very important as the US navy was very small. The HMS Victory is meant for a completely different type of war service as a first rate ship of the line.

  • We can see she's really fast... even on a small youtube video... Salutes from France Lynx... Wish you a long life

  • Had a chance to tour this beauty today. Can't for her to swing through again so I can get an Adventure Sail on her!

  • What a beautiful ship, and a beautiful idea...

  • It was said in the video a wonderful life experience and thats exactly what it is.

I have sailed on a Brig on two separate occasions back in the 70s and would love to sail a Topsail Schooner.

I hope as many people as possible get this life changing opportunity.

  • Sparky looks better with his hair down!
