@heronoki Free online play is huge. It's the reason I'm going to get a PS3 for my son instead of an Xbox. Why should I pay every month for something that's free for the PS3, especially when most games are available for both? The only other reason would be exclusive games, and none of the Xbox exclusive games are worth the monthly fee. That alone makes it better imo.

Thats probably the reason why there's so many good ratings given to them. I've got friends that jumped right from Xbox to the PS camp. Tried selling it on eBay, no one gave 2 shit. @heronoki Free online play is huge. It's the reason I'm going to get a PS3 for my son instead of an Xbox. Why should I pay every month for something that's free for the PS3, especially when most games are available for both? The only other reason would be exclusive games, and none of the Xbox exclusive games are worth the monthly fee. That alone makes it better imo.

And also Its actually proven that ps3 gets better ratings, See the only reason people beleive the xbox 360 gets higher rated exclsuives is because, The system using overrall rating s for xbox 360 reviews is using games like mass effect and bioshock, that later came to ps3. An on top of that allot of considered exclsuives are also for pc. And those are not exclusives. So in reality ps3 exclsuvies get higher ratings.

And even if xbox still had mass effect 2 and Bioshock it would still be close. On top of that Uncharted 2 is higher rated then any xbox exclsuive. Plus more reviews came in for the xbox release of mass effect 2 then the ps3 one. Also ps3 not getting the original has NO FUCKING RELEVANCE.

You see with a PC game you always have to keep up with the latest tech or even get a brand new computer altogether just to play a game on there, while on the console you don't have to worry about that. Sure if you can manage to be fortunate enough to be crapping gold and have top of the line tech, it would be a better experience but the cost outweighs the gain.

It's like you say, most games are shared between the two and yet strangely more people play the 360...now, why is that? Because 360 has a FAR bigger variety. Yes the majority of their exclusives are on the PC too, but you do need a gaming comp for most...not every computer can run every game like that and it costs far more to upgrade to do that than a $10 monthly fee.

forza is better then GT5, Halo is better than Killzone, and Gears is just fucking amazing. So it balances out. I still like Xbox more because its what my friends have, and none of them have PS3, plus no cross game chat. That doesnt stop me from getting one for christmas though, i mean, LBP, InFamous, MGS, Ratchet, MAG, uncharted, modnation, ill have the best of both worlds!
