  • Damn! I'll stick to my top loading automatic thank you. What a hassle this machine is.

  • @SpazChat Lazy!

  • @ControlledExplosions , No, it's just that I've graduated to the 21th century... This looks like the poor redneck version of an excuse for a clothes washer.

  • @ControlledExplosions , If you were so non-lazy as you seem to imply, you'd be using a wash board and washing them by the stream or sink

  • Aren't those the kind of washers they used to use around the turn of the last century? The top loaders they make today will double wash them automatically like you need to do here

  • We had one of those in our home in the 1930s. You had to be careful not to get your hand caught in the wringer. If you did, it would pull your arm in. The large knob at the top of the wringer was a quick release so you could pull your arm out.

  • My friend's mom had one that sounded and looked like that one. Now I know what kind of machine it was! LOL

  • You should never use high efficiency detergent in a traditional agitator style washer. It is not formulated for it and won't get your clothes properly cleaned. This goes for any agitator washer.

  • judging by the motor, that things got a mega-vintage Wagner motor in it.

  • @cheetawolf I'm pretty sure it's a GE motor actually

  • The Easy wth the three cups was so kewl. We had an Easy Spinner in 1974.

  • I have the same easy washing machine. It's the same color as well. I am intrested in selling it and I was wondering how much it would sell for. My great grandmother owned it and it sat in my grandmother garage for some time. Let me know . Thanks

  • @briansoto23 I really have no idea how much it's worth, so couldn't tell you :P

  • you are suppose to wring out the clothes then drain the tub

  • Nice washer it really washes good!

  • let me buy that from you.

  • Interestig video,How old is this machine?

  • I think it's from the mid 1930s

  • BTW, how old's that machine? It looks well made!! Isn't there an earlier version with an "up-and-down" agitator?

  • I think it's from the 1930s, not sure of the exact year, but it was my grandparents'
