  • Dr. John???

  • Much as I love this song, this video REALLY doesn't fit the song.

  • Love me some seasick steve. Some grooving guitar licks and non pretentious lyrics, yes I'll take a double helping please

  • Yep I can see why ss didnt like it, director totally out of touch.

  • anyone else getting a Voodoo Chile vibe?

  • Yeah its really a terrible music video :\

  • Real Bluesman!!!!!!!

  • What is it? A clip? A clip with girls?! Steve is going into rotation at MTV or something? :)

  • hmmm... I know that steve wasn't happy with this video (he told the director it made him look sleazy) and yet here it is on youtube, posted by the director.

    How do I know? Well...

  • super repetitive!! he knows only one riff on the guitar?

  • @boubouuuu Check out his other stuff before you judge...

  • @boubouuuu Have you ever listened to the blues? Many songs only have one riff and more to do with telling a story.

  • does anyone now the guitar tunin??

  • Seasick Steve's music = It's All Good.

  • love this song

  • 00:32 Son House

00:46 Lightnin Hopkins? (i think. corrrect me if im wrong)

    00:47 Blind Willie McTell

  • Sounds like Hendrix soo bad !

  • sounds like voodoo child

  • his music and his voice remind me of John Lee Hooker´s pure raw blues

  • He shouldn't be surrounded by a group of young women. It doesn't work.

There should be a 3/4 empty bottle of Jack Daniels with half the label missing, an old bloodhound with arthritis, an old guy smoking a corncob pipe and kicking a barrel. A campfire in the middle that's really just dead embers at this point. Maybe some burnt baked beans and a gray cloudy day.

    Well, my opinion anyway.

  • Faca!

  • I was lucky to travel from Ontario to Texas riding on a 32 wheeler passed thru Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, New Orleans and onto Houston TX... best time o my life with my buddy and his rotweiller who slept like kings in the back cabin... I slept on a bed I made ... passenger seat, drive seat with a TV in the middle for support... LOVED IT!!! particularly a couple nights spent in Tascaloosa.. best music down the mississippi way... I miss y'all

  • @motownharry sorry if i made you pms in your pants... well i'm sorry if i didn't spell it right i usually listen to the music instead of reading about it. and as i said i like seasick steve, but what the hell is this if you can't even be a bit critical, when you think an artist who otherwise makes great music has made an error of judgement letting this bit of unoriginality slip through the filter.

  • @micp4130 You missed the point completely... I said there is nothing New in the Blues... Jimi didn't make the licks he plays... it's his take on the licks that have been layed down from the begining it's his style of playing that made it sound the way he made it sound. How about sticking to my point and responding to "just" that.

  • @motownharry in short: if we as fans can't critique the music then why the hell should the artist care about doing his best?

  • @motownharry It's Jimi Hendrix, not Jimmi...

  • this man should be a national treasure!!!!!

  • all great blues artists are in this video, a lot on the pictures and the other one's playing

  • gotta do seasick steve for dt homework

  • kinda reminds me to my dad

  • Man you're a GENIUS! Can't wait to see him live!

  • Dont change for anyone steve.

  • why does Seasick Steve look like Jack Johnson with a beard and tattoos ?

  • @TheGarciaRhythm why does Jack Johnson look like seasick steve without a beard and tattoos ;D?

  • This is really good, but how the hell did Digitalism bring me here?

  • the greatest bluesman i ever heard. good you can say Howlin Wolf is... steve had more soundinspiration in tht time. but in that crazy time, its this the sound of easy and fuck off goingway for life.

Minimalistic guitar with great groove, tht is the way to play a blues. Fuck off for highspeedguitar

  • is it just me or is he playing the opening riff of voodoo chile?

  • @elibol1010 it's just you

  • @elibol1010 the tune is made out of the blues scale, as is alot of blues.

alot of tunes are just scales of notes played with a bit of panache.

  • Get em Steve!

  • jheeze he's way better with girls than i am... need to grow me a beard

  • @TheLukeMaxfield hahahahah great idear

  • different... but I really like the guitar

  • i would love, love tabs for this. i guess i should say tabs would be "all good" haha this song is amazing.

  • I have to admit he does sound better live than recorded and cleared up. There is something great about the simpleness of his music...even when he has a drummer playing with him it is still simple and wonderful.

  • this man is the black as hell at night.

    nuff. said.

  • the last great bluesman.

  • @WWSuperman Ever heard of BB king?

  • @WWSuperman he definitely wont be the last

  • @WWSuperman That you've heard of ;) And that aint no disrespect to Steve..

  • @WWSuperman not quite, there's always Marcus Bonfanti, he's very new and a very very good bluesman. :)

  • @WWSuperman b.b king?, Eric clapton?

  • @WWSuperman Joe Bonamassa.

  • @WWSuperman there are many more and many more are to come

  • @WWSuperman C.W. Stoneking.

  • I really agree !!

    That would be awesome

  • He should do something with Dan Auerbach

  • @AnniesEggs Yeah Yesterday i was listening SeaSick and i said against a friend of mine, wouldn't it be great Seasick together with the Black Keys

  • steve is badass, but why is it that every good artist gets a team of stupid producers. Steve's music is basic and should stay that way. No multitrack recording, just play it one time and thats it........

    later ya'll

  • he should do something with slash and zz top
