It's a shame that Sentai picked up You're Under Arrest. This title is still pretty big, and a great fanbase. Sucks with a sub only aspect. Season 1 was excellent from Animeigo, the voice actors made it a nice memorable classic. ADV stayed true with the movie and mini specials too. :( Curse you Sentai Filmworks!!!
I really enjoyed Dragonaut from the few episodes I saw through fansubs. I hope for a complete set release so i won't have to spend $100 for a 26 episode series. Just wondering, will you be getting the Dragon Box DBZ sets when it comes out?
It does, but I think it suffers from some execution problems. Many aspects of it seem arbitrary and sudden... character designs, plot, dialogue, character actions... it's like they had a bunch of good ideas and threw them together but didn't thoroughly iron out how to make it all flow naturally.
I've been to an anime convention once. It was quite incredible ; I could have thousands of dollars and not buy everything.
I did buy a couple anime figurines, I think, but mostly DVDs. I buy DVDs in my spare time, anyway. The anime panels were interesting, too.
Unfortunately, the immersion into anime was... well, less thrilling than staying at home for me. That made the experience not worth dealing with crowds of people...
Yeah, the main reason I don't shop RightStuf is that, when I last checked, they only had two-day shipping as their fastest. (I'm a next-day shopping addict to a fault so I'm admittedly paying a premium.)

Unfortunately not. It's one of those series that I almost watched back when I first downloading but never got around to it.

I already have all of DBZ. :)

I figured, as do I. XD So I assume you aren't getting the new boxset that's coming out on the 17th this month? ^^;

Yeah. As a general rule of thumb, I don't re-buy series unless there's a really, really good reason to. (E.G. Evangelion Platinum collection.)

Omg dude how you get that much money to spend on DVD's and your department or house at the same time???

Price always trumps delivery speed for me. It's not like I watch my DVDs the day I get them anyway :)

Have you seen legend of lemnear?

Nope. Hadn't even heard of it, either. Sounds intriguing from its AniDB description, though.

It's a shame you didn't shop rightstuf, they got all 13 volumes of YUA for 10 bucks each.
I only bought Dragonaut this week.
