  • its taken me 7years for her death to sink in..i was 14 wen she died and was already obsessed with her music, thanks to ma dad. I miss her and i love her for giving me a memory that i would always hold dear in my heart. Music brings every one together. mabrrrr

  • I thank God for Brenda, she was a girl who new who she was. She lived her life to the full even though it was short. She was really a very interigent woman, who never cared or bothered about what people say about her looks and so on, as she said in her one of her speeches people only looked at Brenda not into her heart. Above all she ended her life surrendering all to God.

  • no one keeps life apart from God only trust him all

  • Beautiful voice...she lived sooo intensely and like artists whose work is social commentary, so was her end intense! I believe that if I had met her, despite her so-called lifestyle we would have been good friends! She certaily will have a whole chapter to herself in the history of African music and those whose lyrics helped shape the liberation struggle in SA and all over the world where oppressed people live! Woza Brenda!
