  • TROLOMEDES MINOR DOLOLOL

  • That looks like a Dolomedes Triton .. otherwise known as the six spotted fishing spider, the name nursery spider is just a loose term...

  • @7777dmith7777 It's a Dolomedes Minor, one of four New Zealand Dolomedes species. Although they have aquatic abilities, they aren't specifically found around water and they are Nurseryweb Spiders.

  • 1:24 aww how sweet he's cleaning the youngin... oh wait

  • Nice video, from what i've gathered though Dolomedes are regarded as fishing spiders and nursery web spiders are Pisaura sp.

I may be wrong though i just havent heard of Dolomedes sp. being regarded as Nursery webs :)

  • cool spider man! where do you find them? and could you please tell me what's the song that plays and who's it by?

  • They live around swamp and the song is Its my youth by andy tabb album is deep roots

  • I'd love to have one, I think I'm going to make it and Hogna carolinesis my next spiders. I love large true arachnids, and I miss my Tegenaria gigantea. :(

  • cool!

    thanx for sharing.

i admire ur hand-feeding skills (i do not do that).

  • Thanks for that, I know hand-feeding is fun, although I do it occasionly I never quite get used to the rapid movement ( It sometimes gives Me a little fright). Haha. I've seen a couple of Your Dolomedes videos, quite impressive.
