I have a question , it would be great if someone could help out, Im trying to put a USB in the tv to watch some TV Shows but the only thing i can put it in is the DMex Service . And I dont know how to get that to work .

FYI, you can use the USB port in back as a charger for most of your devices. I use it to charge my Blackberry, PS3 gamepad, camera, ipod and more. The set does not need to be turned on to charge it either.

How should I adjust the screen. How much should the Brightness/Contrast/backlight be?

there is actually a setting on your ps3 that makes it go from RGB Full or YCrCb rgb tends to be darker try setting it to the other hope that helps

if you have dynamic contrast on then you should try that... in game when ur in a bright area, the screen will dim, and vice versa if ur in a dark area in game

actually it depends. if you have a room that has a lot of sunlight coming in, then lcd is the way to go. now if the room hass little or no sunlight coming in, then plasma is the choice.

but i would get an lcd no matter what.

Warranties are still valid from all electronics purchased from Circuit City. CC doesnt not fulfill the warrranty, the brand (Sony) does. Just instead of taking the set back to CC...he will have to deal with Sony directly. All warranties are still valid!!! Stop spreading rumors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lcd isn't useless, it's just not there yet, part of the reason is Price Fixing in violation of Anti Trust. 25000:1 is actually par with plasma in contrast. LCD has advantages in power use, life span, heat generation, and resolution. But they need to catch up in contrast ratio, and Price Fixing hasn't helped.

Anyone here working with 1080p as a desktop resolution for PC? I'm thinking of getting one although probably a bit smaller, to use as desktop monitor. Just not too sure if on such a screen 1080p isn't too cramped to be used as desktop resolution.

If it can only do 60Hz, I don't think it would be too good for a PC monitor, you really want something that can do 75hz or more. There are 120hz PC monitors out now, that can do the new Nvidia 3D glasses. I personally have found Sony to more of a name then a trully quality product. Keep looking you will end up doing better.

That's the thing why i was considering one, the one i got my eyes set on has 100hz and is 37 inch. There's far more choise in TV's it seems than in actual monitors with 100hz or more. Just not too sure if in a few years being stuck at 1080p isn't going to limit the desktop experience.

I would just save some cash. and get a good PC LCD Monitor, if that's what you really need, that can do better then 1080p. Sony Products are nothing more then an overpriced name in my exprance. ever sense have 3 PS1 consoles go up in smoke in a year, and MiniDisc failing, I have not bought Sony Products again.

60 Hz, and 25000:1 contrast isn't very good at all. Not for that price. I have a Samsung LE 52 A 659, 60000:1 contrast and 100Hz and I payed a total of 1.795€ till it was in my living room (which is still overpayed)
