  • Took me a while to recognise the Brian Johnson Moopet but by God I laughed my ass off when I did. Great film guys. In tears all the way through and for differing emotions.

  • saw this tonight and love it

  • If you watch the other Muppet movies, you find that in just about every one the muppets make comments about the movie theyre making

  • One thing about this movie has me confused. In most other respects, every Muppet movie has their own continuity and don't really tie together except for their cast. But with the inclusion of Doc Hopper's French Fried Frog Legs in 'A Very Muppet Christmas', that seems to imply that these movies DO tie in with each other somehow. Given than, why does 'The Muppets' revolve around saving the Muppet Theater from demolition when it was preserved as an historical landmark in 'A Very Muppet Christmas'?

  • @Bobzeaux Sometimes making something a landmark doesn't mean anything.

  • i adored this film, it was amazing

  • i liked this movie a lot, because it had a lot of the humour that the muppets just own. some things i didnt like, though, were the cheesy songs. they weren't just kiddy songs but they were annoying and generic.

  • I have a total crush on Kermit, Animal, Walter, Fozzie, and pretty much every single male Muppet . Go Muppets!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm totally buying this on Blu-Ray, I'll laugh at it every time I watch it!!!!

  • Whooo hooo I'm going to be waiting at the doors of a target and wal-mart buying the movie first thing in the morning GIVE ME MY MUPPETS ALREADY!!!

  • KERMIE KERMIE KERMIE! I HAVE A CRUSH ON CUTE KERMIT! : hugs kermit;

  • Statler:Hey Waldorf,what was you favorite part?

    Waldorf:The credits!

    Both:Dohohohohoh!

  • is it bad that i have a crush in kermit?

  • I cannot wait to buy this on Blu-ray! Should be amazing quality <3

  • Why does nobody care about Animal?

  • @TheAwesomeRocco I do. Personally, when this comes out, I'll be on the Combo pack like Animal on a Drum set.

  • Watched this film and love it. I bought the songs from it

  • I know a theater near me still playing this movie, I'll just see it there.

  • sorry, my last comment should have said "America gets Tintin on DVD before the uk" but my iPod messed up :/

  • shame it's only just been released in cinemas here. ah well, don't matter.

but can someone please tell me why America gets on DVD a couple of weeks before the uk?

  • @MrTWISTEDHUMORable

Kermit has confined it, but were waiting for Disney to give the green-light!

  • Saw this on Sunday all i can say is this film was fantastic loved every second of it can anyone please tell me when the DVD is out in the UK thanks my gues is it will be out in the summer thanks again ;D...............

  • A SEQUEL HAS BEEN ANNOUNCE!

    BRING ON The Muppets 2!

  • @UrkManRocks Just no....it hasn't...

  • @UrkManRocks for real?! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

  • Is this for Ireland too ?

  • @JamesGamingChannel

    How could it be??!

It was only released in the cinema over here 2 days ago!

    Jesus man use your head.

  • I love the Muppets! ♥ Greetings from Italy!♥´¯`•.¸¸★°•.☆

  • I was so happy to have been. This is so great

  • The best movie and story

  • I love the muppets

  • I did NOT like the women in the movie but it was still an epic movie (i'm now downloading 3 seasons of the old muppet show)

  • LEGEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • did this dvd availabel in indonesia?

  • BLACKMARCH!!

  • compren, compren, compren, esclavos del consumismo

  • Disney have been such twats bringing out this film 4 months after the US, thats like disgrimination

  • Genuinely don't understand why this is out on DVD in March and it won't be out in France until April. Do studios not realise that they are shooting themselves in the foot by not coordinating release dates!

  • @MoFheileacan I read an article recently that said that studios have been shortening the window between theatrical release and home entertainment releases by much more now, as a way to prevent piracy in between that once long span of time. So who knows...

  • Mickey could kick Kermit's ass!

  • XD i`m do not english i`m spanish

  • hello my little green friend xo

  • $35 for something I'm going to watch once or twice? That's pretty steep. Especially since the movie industry doesn't like us viewing their movies with friends or sharing them.

  • @JordanNism a normal DVD is like 18 to 20 bucks...

  • @lovemuffintop30

If I watch it twice, that's $9 a viewing. That's more than a month of Netflix per view.

  • @JordanNism It's too good to watch once or twice! If you only want to watch it that few times just rent it!

  • @JordanNism Seriously? The movie has industry has no problem with that, it's mass distributing of their property they have a problem with. If you have a real friend, their fine with that. Also you might want to find out how much DVD's cost.

  • and miss piggy xDD

  • What five sorry excuses for human beings could possibly dislike this?

  • @FlutterFlutterShy I'm sure Statler and Waldorf know these people have the right idea.

  • thumbs up if your buying this when it comes out on DVD

  • This is going to be great! I can't wait for the DVD! =D

  • Really, really a great movie. It's a shame that cinemas in Italy are full of hand-less monkeys who can't operate a f projector... I couldn't finish it because it started too late and I had to take a bus to come back home...

  • I haven't seen this yet, but I love The Muppets so I'll probably buy the Blu-Ray once it's out.

  • The way that Disney have delayed the showing of this movie untill the 10th of February in the UK is despicable. Without the UK there would be no Muppets in the first place. It was Sir Lew Grade and ATV that gave them the break.

  • well where is seasons 4 and 5 of the muppet show!?

  • Gutted I don't live in the USA!!! It's not due out at the cinema until 10th Feb here in the UK!

  • Wait a minute! Was Jason Siegul and Amy Adams announced before Kermit and Piggy in a muppet movie... They are in this busines longer than this two younglings. :P

  • I'm gonna Get the WOCKA WOCKA value pack because it has a digital copy. It also comes with a soundtrack card but I will not throw it out.

  • @Flimerfly Same here. I'm only buying that version for the digital copy. I already own the soundtrack on CD, but I too, won't be throwing it away.

  • can't wait<3

i loved this movie so much in theaters<3

  • I'm sure i'll get that movie. I love it.

  • Come on, I didn't even get to see it in theaters! Now I have to wait until March 20th?

  • @100percentgamer I'm sure you can catch it at a dollar theater soon. We only have it playing at one movie theater right now, and I think they're stopping that soon. But that means the dollar theater will have it by next month!

  • BLACKMARCH!! black-marchpointcom/

  • @animanatural Sorry, this will be the exception of my Black March. I love the Muppets too much to go any longer without this movie on Blu-ray than I absolutely have to.

  • I better get this for my birthday

  • And you wonder why people feel the need to watch films illegally filmed online...

  • @SamuelEllmer Yes I do wonder. Movies cost alot of money to make. You are stealing that product, even if physically nothing's missing. If it's not worth it for me to pay for it to get it legally I won't pay for it. I love The Muppets and I hope the legal demand of the movie is enough for Disney to justify more movies and specials to come.

  • COOL haha i<3 the muppets THEY R UNSTOPPABLE

  • @muppetsstoogesfan1 That's okay. I have a Blu-Ray player.

  • This movie was bad. not awful just bad. Fozzie's corny jokes are funnier than this. No wonder Frank Oz quit after reading thescript.

  • @RANDOMFREAKSHOWCO That's a matter of opinion. I thought they were on par with past works.

  • @RANDOMFREAKSHOWCO RFSC, Frank did not quit the film. Frank was never involved. He was simply asked an opinion in an interview.

  • Sequel, Sequel, Sequel!

  • The Muppets & Hop were some of the best films of the year!

    I can't wait for March 20th & March 23th.

  • ohmaygadohmaygadohmaygadohmaygadohmaygadohmaygad it's the MUPPETS!!!

  • I wonder if Jason Segel is puppeteering any of the muppets, too? :-P

  • Just started today in german cinemas^^

  • Will there ever be some new episodes of the series?

  • I forgot to go see this in theaters, even though I had free passes to it. But I was pretty depressed the whole time about a recent break up (which we got back together) to go.

Guess I have to get the Blu Ray.

Also, when are the rest of the Muppet movies coming to Blu Ray, the only ones so far are Muppets in Space and Take Manhattan. I want the rest in Blu Ray. DVD sucks.

  • And it never got released in Finland. :(

  • Before I watched this movie, I'd only seen Muppet Treasure Island and Muppets From Space. Since I watched this movie, I've also watched The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, Muppets Take Manhattan, and seasons 1-4 of The Muppet Show (I've just started season 5). I have yet to become bored of the Muppets. I absolutely love them.

  • @MollyKoenigStarGleek You gotta check out Muppets Christmas Carol too.

  • Gonna buy the hell out of it when it comes out. Hoping for a worldwide release on the 20th March, not staggered like the film release. *still mad and sad

  • Statler: Boy, this Muppet-show sure is all sold-out.

Waldorf: Yeah? Well, if Disney would have offered me a contract, I would have sold-out too!!

    Both: Doohhh-hohohoho!!!!!... hrmmf

  • This movie only came out one week ago today in australia, and im already getting pressured into the dvd or blu-ray... ok...

  • On DVD?! It's not out for another month in the UK!!

  • @matt036 Yeah I'm still waiting to see it in the cinema!

  • @matt036 Well we've had certain films before the US so we can't really complain. We had Tintin a month or two before the US and same with quite a few other films.

  • @joevictor53 AND YALL GET SHERLOCK BEFORE US!

Not the RDJ one I mean, the BBC epis version.

  • @RANDOMFREAKSHOWCO Yeah the BBC part kind of explains that. I don't watch Sherlock myself but I watch Doctor Who and now you get that the same time we do. Meanwhile I have to wait to watch the US shows I like. The Big Bang Theory, Last Man Standing, New Girl, Castle and Terra Nova all take months to be shown here. Castle took 3 years to get here and Last Man Standing hasn't been shown yet. More often that not the US wins regardless of who made the tv show/film

  • @matt036 Came Out November In USA

    Comes Out FEB In UK

    USA Get it First :)

  • @matt036 I thought it was coming out this Friday (Feb. 10).

  • @TheForceFollower94 It is but I posted that comment ages ago as you can see.

  • @TheForceFollower94 It did, in the UK. I saw it with my girlfriend. I laughed and cried my soul out.

  • @ComicTheUntitled Awesome, I hope it it makes truckloads of money in the U.K!

  • @matt036 I wonder why it should take so long to come, when in the UK they speak English, I would understand if it came at this time in countries that are not English speaking. I'm glad I got to see it as soon as it came out, because I live in the US. I'm from Brussels, Belgium (of West African and Caribean origin (British West Indies).

  • AAAAUGH! I can't wait that long!!! Ed need movie now! MOVIE GOOD FOR ED! SNACKS! Ed Edd n Eddy references aside, I seriously can't wait for this movie to come out on DVD. I don't think that I've ever been this excited for a DVD. I'd even say I'm more excited than when I was waiting for Brawl! Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I AM curious to see if any of the MANY cut scenes from the movie that were in the novelization will show up on DVD. If they did, I'm sure it'd sell like hotcakes.

  • I know what I want for my birthday! :D

  • YAAYZ!!! I missed it when it was in theatres. :(

  • @IndianaJonesfans09 Its worth checking out

  • And where is seasons 4 & 5 of The Muppet Show & Muppets Tonight! on DVD? =:D

  • But that's so far away!

  • Already?

  • YESSS!

  • So... will it be out in the UK before or after this date?

  • Between sparkly vampires or singing & performing muppets?? No choice really at all FREAKIN' MUPPETS OH YEAH!!! Foolish sparkly vampires you know not the power of The Great & Gonzo!

  • I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

  • I will buy this as soon as it comes out!

  • OMG, DISNEY BLU-RAY? THAT IS MUCH BETTER THE NORMAL BLU-RAY

Seriously now, what is the difference?

  • that's cool an all but.. it's not even out here (ireland) yet. can you do something about that?

  • Finally! Getting myself a blu-ray of this movie! :D

  • PLEASE let this outsell Breaking dawn!

  • @PowerGlove79 That would be awesome, but wishful thinking I'm afraid. Twilight fans are a pretty determined bunch lol.

  • HEY GUESS WHAT THIS VIDEO CONTAINS COPYWRIGHTED MATERIAL OOPS BLOCKED SO SORRY.

  • I'm going to get the movie b4 it comes out

  • Buying it the day it COMES OUT ( March 20th :D)

  • Can't wait! Saw this in theaters and it was AMAZING.

And for those who are wondering...this is one of the highest rated films of the year, and also made over $100 million in the box office. That's impressive considering it went against Hugo and Arthur Christmas.

It's the return of the Muppets. And a good one at that. :D

  • Yeah, I'd also like to see the uncut version. The theater one seemed a bit butchered.

  • Has anyone noticed cut scenes in this promo? I mean, look at the scene with Sweetums putting a bowling pin on Segal's head and Gonzo practicing head bowling with Segal. That wasn't in the movie, technically Gonzo didn't do head bowling at all!

  • @invaderpez12 the head bowling was actualy in the movie

  • @invaderpez12 I faintly remember the headbowling being in the movie...but it certainly wasn't with Segal.

I remember Jason Segal said that they had to remove A LOT of content from the movie for the theatrical release, so maybe if we're lucky enough, we'll get the uncut edition?

  • @xFluffles there was a scene in one of the trailers showing segalwith a bowling pin atop his head and gonzo swinging a bowling ball towards it

it will probably be on the deleted scenes part of the dvd

  • Me gustan mas las voces en Spanish :D

  • Wow! They're Releasing The Movie On DVD And Blu Ray Already?

  • What if they cut out all the stuff just to make it a short movie like Amy Adams said... :(

  • I'm too excited for the Blu-Ray release. Ever since I saw the movie I've been hyping up to see it again.

  • Meanwhile in the UK, we still don't have the film!

  • oh comeon.. we can't even see it in cinemas yet.. im starting loose all the excitement i had when i started seing the trailers/clips/parodies ½ yr ago..

  • lol march 20th is my birthday!!!

  • Wow, looks like Statler and Waldorf disliked the video!!

I'm hoping this ignites some kind of spark, that would bring the Muppets back to TV! It would rock to have a weekly Muppet show again!! :)

  • Why does Kermit get third billing on A MUPPET MOVIE?! Disney FAIL!

  • @straak It's kind of a marketing tactic. People immediately think "Jason Segel and Amy Adams? I'll go see it!" When they see it, they'll notice that focus immediately turns to Kermit and co. If you pay any attention to the end credits, the first thing you'll see is "The Muppet Performers." Gave me inexplicable happiness when I first saw it.

  • @Nerdyguy1010 Thanks for the info Nerd Guy. I was kinda say'n it in jest/protest. I'm a ware of marketing tactics. I used to produce/over-see movie trailers and promos for a living and some of my friends are Muppeteers and were in the movie.

  • wow this must have flopped, has it even come out over in the UK yet? I've honestly gone from being really excited about the Muppets movie to being angered whenever I see one of their in your face spamtising... what you have right there is a saturation of your market, to the point that you turned yourself into something to hate...

  • @Mom1j1 No it hasn't been released in the U.K. yet, and it flopped at all. With the other movies adjusted for inflation, it's about to become the second highest grossing Muppet movie in the U.S.

  • Statler & Waldorf commentary please

  • @helmsly2010 LOL, that would be epic!

  • @helmsly2010 I already plan on buying this. If there is a Statler & Waldorf commentary track on it I will buy it again.

  • Who wants a combo pack? Just the straight forward DVD would do me. Region 2, uncut, just like the rest of my Muppet film collection!

  • does anyone else feel snubbed by the muppet studios for youtube and the internet not being mentioned in the movie because we are the ones who really brought them back. instead of a tellethon they could have inserted a youtube-athon trying to get a billion views.

  • its not even released here till fucking February, come on blizz

  • Now when is season 4 of the muppet show coming out?

  • In Disney 3D?

  • So Muppets doesnt come out in cinemas till february in the uk then 1 month later it comes out on dvd? thats gonna be a fail of an opening weekend

  • @GNerdful pretty sure the dvd is just coming out in region one

  • @GNerdful This is for the U.S. DVD release!

  • I've watched all of How I Met Your Mother since watching the Muppets in theaters and now I only see Marshall.

  • I hope there will be a lot of special features.

  • Surely it should be Green-ray™?

  • @FatRoland that's called Dvd

  • cause beaker is funnier!! fact!

  • lol, the movie wasn't even released in Portugal, yet.

  • Please fix Gonzo's head on the artwork! That's all I ask!

  • Gotta say I do hate the cover and I'm disappointed that they don't seem to have changed it. I mean, for one thing, Gonzo's head is missing, for chrissakes!

  • @FletchySRF1988

Yeah I agree with you, Gonzo is one of the main Muppets so why have Beaker on the cover over him :/

  • @ryangillings Gonzo got his own movie. remember hwo that turned out? yeah. let's give gonzo some space

  • @nirgoId

Are you talking about Muppets from Space? Because I loved that one, if not then I've never seen Gonzo's Movie.

  • @FletchySRF1988 LOL I couldn't believe that what you said was true, but just saw it on Amazon...how could they have a headless Gonzo on the cover!? o_O

  • Supposedly, Frank Oz REALLY didn't like the whole "fart shoes" gag. He felt the Muppets were above that sort of thing. I admit, I thought it was really weird, too... Have the Muppets ever made those kinds of jos before?

  • @Rubberman202 Yes, they have made whoopee cushion jokes before.

Ex: The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson special

  • @TheForceFollower94 Then it would be weird for Frank Oz to say something like he did...

  • @Rubberman202 He's said a lot of things. But, he probably thought because he saw the fart gag featured so prominently, that the whole movie would be filled with that type of humor, which thankfully, it wasn't .

  • @TheForceFollower94 Well, that's the thing with trailers, especially ones towards animated and films otherwise labeled as "kids movies". After all, there's nothing a kid loves to laugh at more than farting and butts! :awesome face:
