  • I love this song!

  • Stock, Aitken and Waterman ruled the musicworld back then - loved it.

  • Yup I am so glad that I grew up in the 80's. This song is one of the reason why 80's is so wonderful.

  • I wish music was still this fun and light hearted.

  • go5to5a ela era

  • @cheekybugger she's 45 actually

  • @berba25 According to wikipedia she's 43

  • 48 years and still fuckable

  • ghetto trash. lies about her age, and think's just because she fucked simon cowell that makes her superstar.

  • @cableaccesslover Lol!!!

  • this is real music with feeling and emotions....... I feel sorry for the loser children of today with their stupid taste in music

  • WIll she win im a celeb?

  • She reminds me of those barbie dolls friends of barbie!! So wonderfull! (^_^)

  • woww I've never seen her before. Bananarama's sound brought me here.

  • Why am I nostalgic over a decade I didn't even exist in?

  • Have to say, she looks gorgeous here, nice song as well..thank you for posting Boyatsea

  • Give me a giggle this one!!!

  • Sound still so Hot!

  • SImon Cowell's call girl.

  • she got style!

i love classic girls, they rock.

this gen, girls are too slutty.

  • the girl is awesome!

  • Haha, she was wearing Leotards before Gaga. Sinitta's awesome, first saw her in Shock Treatment with her old nose!

  • Lol, she was wearing leotards before Gaga. Love Sinitta <3 First saw her in "Sock Treatment" (with her original nose!)

  • Another reason S/A/W were geniuses was that they knew how important it was to appeal to little kids and "tweens" long before the word "tween" even existed. They gave their songs titles like "Cross My Broken Heart" -- which made them easy for little kids to understand and relate to. And helped guarantee million sellers, too!

  • she has some very uninformed best friends...

  • S/A/W were geniuses of music production. They deserve a place in heaven for stealing undergroung gay house music elements and sprinkle them in small dosage over irresistible pop cup cakes. A formula that always sounded happy (=gay), fresh and pacey. MARVELLOUS dahhhlin'!

  • @originaldeftom Exactly. They WERE geniuses. They wrote songs like this one in their sleep while record producers today can't come up with a catchy hook to save their lives. Look at "I Should Be So Lucky." They dashed that off in like 5 minutes, just to get rid of Kylie -- because they'd never heard of her and couldn't be bothered. And that became a massive worldwide hit only months later. They were true geniuses and I worship them.

  • @jposh707 I DID like SAW in the 80s, but looking back, "Power Factory" songs ALL sounded the same, even more so than Motown songs in the 60s sounded alike... It appears "the sound of a bright young Britain" has become "the sounds of a hopeless, middle-aged UK in a tower block"...

  • @shmuli9 Well you would know that better than I would, as I'm an American admirer of their music. S/A/W did have big hits here in the US but they were interspersed with lots of other types of music on the pop charts at the time -- which I think diluted their overall sustainability, and ultimately, their memorability on this side of the pond. However this was a sound that was exported all over the world at the time -- a remarkable achievement, and one which makes your Motown comparison quite apt.

  • @jposh707 Indeed, this sound WAS exported all over the world, and as Motown greatly influenced other music (such as the 4 Seasons), people like Debbie Gibson emulted this sound (on songs like "Shake your Love")...

  • simon cowell ugly ex girlfriend and they are made for each other

  • loving the music!

  • Love it, im so pleased i grew up on the 80s, feel sorry for the kids of today.

  • @sonhun76 I feel the same way. I was born in '77 and so I grew up totally infatuated by and in love with 80s pop. I'm sure I will be for the rest of my life.

  • @sonhun76 i grew in the 90's but hey, we arent all the same nowadays, cause i DO listen to this kind of music MOST lol. so yeah :)

  • @sonhun76 Kids of today are empty shells without no values.

  • @FURY1958 Even if that were so some of us have decent grammar. ref: without no values. I think you mean without any values. ;)

  • @vonHemmenstadt Yes, I wanted to say that. But you must notice first, that english is not my mother language, because I live and I'm from Spain, so, it's easy to me get wrong.

  • love it !

  • @stoobee09 Is that a skirt or a serviette she's wearing? lol.

  • @stoobee09 yes makes it easier to accept this song terrible-ness :)

  • 2.11 - 2.23: Probably the worst 12 seconds in pop history!!!

  • Lollypop fluff heaven.

  • what a tidy little body!

  • Love the fact that Sinitta is in fact wearing perhaps THE shortest skirt I have ever seen...

  • legend

  • Where have you taken this video from? It´s even better than the video that Cherry Red Records have included in "Sinitta´s The Greatest Hits + Bonus DVD"

I don´t know why they say that the master sources of Sinitta´s vídeos have been lost over the years... We have this VIDEO and it´s FULL video!!

  • Comment removed

  • She was singing this on the Alan Titchmarsh show today still sounds the same...she must be 40 something now she still looks about 25!!!! Sinita showed a lot of flesh but there was something inoffensive about her she wasn't all aggressive like the girls today...

  • I can´t get enough of the video. When she is looking in the camera, while she is talking with er best friend. Ha, ha, ha. The song is SUPER!!!!!

  • ilu. <3

  • Love this video! (;

  • i'm sure it's a stock aitken and waterman production

  • @entertainmentboy002 Are they the same producers who worked with Rick Astley?

  • exactly! jason donovan , kylie minogue, mel and kim, samantha fox and so and so

  • She is gorgious and has a great voice! Too many icky divas today- this is class.

  • i love her voice

  • She looks younger now. Lol. Wonder why that is...

  • This was out in 1988 and she looks about 20 in the video so it's possible she was born in 1968.... lol

  • I'm guessing it's from Stock Aitken Waterman ..;in the late 80's they've been created his recognazible sound

  • Yes it is.

  • Wow! This looks like the Whitney Houston I wanna dance with some body video!!

  • i love the bass on this song

  • yeah its pretty irregular

  • It sounds like Mel & Kim, one of the first SAW groups.

  • She is in a film called Shock Treatment that was made in 1981 and she looks older than 13 in it so she must be telling fibs :o she's still fab tho x

  • This singer is not well known here in Brazil... I personally never heard about her before...

  • i just looked on wikipedia and apparently Sinitta was born in 1968 so makes her 41 this year!!

  • is true that Sinitta used to be a very short-term girlfriend of Brad Pitt?

  • @Timmblock! Yes, it's true they used to go out together for a couple of years, in the late 80's. Brad Pitt really looked after Sinatta & to this day still keeps in contact with her during holidays.

  • lol

  • she is ONLY 40!!!!she must have been very young here...

  • She's 40 this week, maybe 32 next week and by the end of the month, 21.

  • @cheekybugger She older then me I can tell u that I was in Jr High when this song came out>She was and still unknow here in the states.I was a young teen, who happen to travel there.I never herad of her.She has to be around 44,but she looks still looks great..

  • That's because it was produced by SAW who also produced a lot of Bananarama's songs.

  • Background music sounds like Bananarama

  • LoL it does sound like Bananarama...also like Kylie Minogue...Jason Donovan...Dead or Alive...Rick Astley...all of them really!

  • Same production company! PWL records :)

  • I cant't believe she is 67 now!

  • no she is 74

  • Summer 1988. Endless! This song sums up the 'feelgood' pop at the time. Stock Aitken Waterman classic production. The year I left school too so was quite a time. Thanks for uploading this.

  • Love this...reminds me of school and good times sigh

  • Sinitta was FILTHY. And I should know ;-)

  • Sinitta was considered really racy when this first came out. Seems so innocent now compared to the acts you see today.

  • What a men!!

  • i love sinitta..

  • Sexy Sinitta!

  • Sexy allright, but she looks slutty

  • So what's the problem?

  • I don't fancy the bimbo or slutty look. It's simply too much, the gold jewelry and colours, hats etc.

Sinitta would look better if she would dress herself a bit more modest. But that's how I think about the matter :-)

  • lols sinnita makes me laugh

  • Of course it is!! Sinitta hasn't done anything with anybody else! Stock Aitken And Waterman forever!!

  • Is this a Stock Aitken Waterman song? Smells like one!

  • It is! :D

  • WTF died on her head?

  • hahahaha

  • she's got such an amazing body !

  • travolo

  • メッチャ・懐かしくて、嬉しいでしゅ~~~!

    何か、涙・出そ~~~っ!

    あの頃が、懐かしい・・・♪

  • I just listened to Duran Duran's The Reflex and one line of the lyrics is 'but I'm dancing on the valentine'. That line made me think of Sinitta at the beginning of this video.

  • Hello thanks for the song

  • yeah SAW...LOVE ALL SONGS FROM THEM...very good to dance with!!! 87? i was only18yrs old..dancing away the 80' music...never enough!!!! love it till TODAY.!!

  • This is the most patronising load of tripe ever issued in the name of pop music. I'm no intellectual but those lyrics are pre-school simplistic with no depth.

This and GTO are records that Sinitta and Stock, Aitken & Waterman should forever be ashamed of, whatever their later achievements.

  • Obviously you don't have a sense of humour. This song is a parody on young relationships that revolve around school image rather than on love. Kind of like two twelve year olds going on a date.....to each others houses' for some chicken nuggets!

  • I don't seem to recall anyone taking it that way at the time (I was 14). Never really saw SAW as parodists the way I saw Blur as such.

  • I was born in 87 so I never really got to experience the full brunt of the 80s. I think much of the music nowadays is trash and so music like this is 'different'. You must have dreaded a few SAW productions back then as I do now (though not SAW)!

Yes the lyrics are quite 'youngish' but it's complemented by the whimsical lullabye melody which I LOVE! She has amazing energy AND she smiles as well which is something you RARELY get to see in music videos nowadays.

I SAY BRING ON THE CHEESE!

  • If you really want to see Sinitta's energy in its full glory, watch her perform a song called 'Imagination' (1984) here on YouTube!

  • you're an idiot

  • you're boring

  • Who would want to cheat on Sinitta? She's beautiful!

  • best days thank you x

  • This has to be SAW's best track for Sinitta, as it's stood the test of time so well. Still a really punchy, clever and energetic tune!
