MALTA: VALLETTA, the Capital City

I visited Malta on October 2011. It was awsome ! I didn't know that Malta is so little country and there are so many people. I saw even Costa Concordia with my own eyes, before it sank. I love Valletta and everything in this country. Estonia is very little too, but not so little :D I'm Estonian. Greetings from Estonia !

I am going to visit Malta in May with my wife. It looks a fantastic place. How sad though, that in the film the Costa Concordia is docked in the harbour. Very sad indeed. God bless those poor people.

The late Actor Oliver Reed died in a pub in Valletta while he was filming the epic film "Gladiator". The pub was originally called "The Pub" but they have renamed it and it is now called "Ollie's Last Pub". To see it on Youtube type the following "OLIVER REED'S LAST BOOZER". I remember i was surprised how small the pub was.

Some of the above pictures are not actually of Valletta but they are places in Floriana such as the Triton Fountain in the beginning of the clip. Not even the 'Valletta' Waterfront is located in Valletta but it is based on the beautiful shores of Floriana which hosts wonderful international cruise ships every year.

The villages and towns in Malta are just by the borders.
