  • I came

  • Now that's how you make it rain!!

  • GOD THIS IS WHY I LOVE WAR

  • im not sure you fires enough :P

  • "Better to give,than receive"

  • @CynepCyn bolivia is the worlds largest supplier of Lithium. as for your other 'facts' i cant prove or deny them.

  • @lyserg1k you're funny like that, i never said anything about supplier, i said SOURCE. it was a yahoo news article stating geologists discovered afghanistan's vast lithium resources, the largest in the world. a source is not the same as a supplier.

  • @CynepCyn fucking lame

  • @CynepCyn Fuck off!.......thats all!

  • USA = TERRORIST.

  • peasants! yours are dying for the zionists!

  • you'd think the discovery of nuclear weapons would be enough evidence for humans to learn they are the victims of themselves. taking pleasure in hurting someone else? why? they don't seem to even care who they are hurting. just kids with toys. unfortunately these "toys" cause unexplainable amounts of pain and carnage. karma suggests these people will someday be on the receiving end of such artillery. how is this species so self divided? who is doing the dividing? very primitive and needing help!

  • @CynepCyn Lol what a fag

  • @CynepCyn

You would think running airplanes into buildings occupied by multi-national civillians would be frowned apon also! Aparently not to the people downrange of this barrage!

  • @CynepCyn Many people think it's cool, progressive, and "hip" to dis their own species.... Yeah, it's actually not. I'll give you a little lesson in Karma. September 11th: Thousands killed in a completely uncalled for, unprovoked attack. September 11th to present day: The US retaliates in response to this attack, and we declare war on the groups responsible for that horrible day in 2001.

  • How many canons ? That was some fast fire ! And what the hell were they firing at an entire division of talibans ? Tell me they didnt use all that ordinance to kill like...5 guys...

  • i wonder how many civilians was killed in this action. that is sad

  • Comment removed

  • @nicktk Just STFU.

  • Can we pretend that artillery shells in the night sky are like shooting stars?

  • this was a fire mission on a soccer stadium that saddam was believed to be in

  • what are those, how come they're moving so slow, are those howitzers?

  • @semperfisemperceler Yeah I going say there moving really slow down range..Kinda weird

  • @CosmicDestroyer99 there not moving slow, the sparks that are discharged to ignite the 155mm shell is just drizzling down, the impact of those howitzers are about 5 seconds

  • @semperfisemperceler You're seeing an optical illusion. They do look like they're moving slowly but you're seeing them outgoing at a target well downrange. They're moving pretty fast but since they're moving away from the camera, they seem to be moving more slowly.

  • Puta Merda....

isso eu ja vi de perto tambem...

    2004 no Exercito Brasileiro...

    realmente incrivel

  • That was beutiful.

A barrage like that can only mean that some

infantry unit (or whoever) really needed some help.

    Rain, Rain, Rain

    Wash away the pain.

  • America fuck yeah!!!!!!! i miss shooting Arty! Cant party without Arty!!!!!!

  • "Finally I got rid of my neighbors disgusting out house..."

  • fuck yeahhhhhhh get some you jehaddd shit heads!

  • Shit are these the shels??

  • yep, going for a loooong trip

  • not many times you see a regimental 8!

  • thats not dpicm they dont shoot icm in country because of the dud rate

  • exploding fireflies?

  • it looks pretty sick.

  • From what I remember, we got a lot of mobility kills.

  • This is an awesome video, you just have to feel something for the folks on the receiving end.

  • @crazygabinfl no those mutherfuckers are getting what they wanted a war.. they just picked the wrong country to fuck with

  • yeah pure joy knowing there either dead or severly maimed.

  • They dont shell cities. You can see by the flashes its clearly an countryside area. Looks like those shells are going over a road with telegraph wires.

  • yeah no shit kill all those rag heads and yes this world would be a better place without the middle east...cock smokes!

  • kill all them fuckker the world would be better with out the middle east!!!

  • unless there evil asnd deserved it? Trust me if there sending this much ordnance in these few spots there plenty of evil there. We know what we are doing if you see huge fire missions and huge battles trust me there not civilians on the other end. Just because you dont see them because they hide like cockroaches. Doesn't mean they aren't there. Any serious war fighting unit deserves the highest of honor. So dont ever discredit them by saying they would dump this much ordnance on innocents.

  • "somebodys get seriously fucked up down there!"

    lol

  • Wow it looks like the rounnds are going so slow.

  • I thought my roman candles were cool! BUT the MARINE CANDLES are WAY better! atleast from THIS SIDE of them! AWSOME VIDEO! KICK SOME ASS!!!

  • @genegene002 haha

  • theyre using some BIG powder bags there, jeez.

  • max range on a 155MM is 36,000 105 is 33,000 that is meters not feet

  • now that's what I call Laser guided Democracy

  • there arent any lasers...

  • no shit

  • Oh, well thanks for the reinforcement

  • Send it to my bossis house

  • how far are they going

  • peace through superior firepower

  • My question is: What in Iraq is an entire artillery regiment firing at that calls for balls to the wall devastation on this scale? This barage probably leveled a city block. BADASS!!!

  • wat are those things, why they fly so slow?

  • they are called artillery shells traveling to a range of 14 miles at speeds of 2500 feet per second (.5 miles)

  • Comment removed

  • @Kil0foxTrot You are seeing them through night vision. The powder heats up the shell when it is fired and that is the glow you see.

  • Negative, the glow is due to combustible material burning in a chamber at the rear of the round, which is then vented out of the round in order to increase air pressure at the back as it travels through the air. This reduces the drag produced and extends the range of the round.

  • Yeah, if I would have watched the whole thing to begin with I would have heard that they were firing ICBM. That isn´´t the correct terminology though is it? ICBM stands for InterContinental Ballistic Missle.

  • try again, he said "DPICM mission.

  • Rainbow of FREEDOM>!

  • kill the "peace loving" bastards woooooo

  • damn some haji's got really fucked up

  • Over over the rain bow you will die the Marines are one of the best strike forces in the world and this is why.

A Happy Ḥaǧǧ is a dead Ḥaǧǧ lets help them out.

    -Chris-

  • I'de hate to be the one that was getting pounded by that kind of fire power

  • Ah..a grunts favorite music..GET SOME WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Steel rain, bring it motherfucker

  • Amazing,

Sit back and drink a nice cold beer smokin a nice kush joint, that'd be the shit,

  • all those rounds just chilling across the sky... oooover the rainbow... xDDD

  • ahhh the hell rounds comming their way!

  • if only more french pussies would get blown up by bus/train/car bombs more in france, n then can be like themselves,do nothing, and take it like the little bitches they are.

  • your asshole country sucks!! france is a piece of SHIT!!

  • Fuck em haha

Too bad so sad for them

  • Holy shit, thats alot of F***ing firepower

  • they deserve it

  • Yeah all the innocents there too.

  • semper fi

  • That was a regimental 16. Was there for that in '03. Semper Fi...

    Cpl. Garza

    3/11 India Battery

    MOS 0811

  • were u at las pulgus , camp pendelton?

  • Why are the rounds moving so slowly? They look like they're floating.

  • maybe cause they have to "fly" a long way to their targets ???

  • 2:18 hell yeah ^^

  • WOW

  • looks jsut so fuckign awesome...

    us arty ftw

  • is that bullets?

  • Fucking overkill

  • BOOM ARTILLERY!! king of battle hoo-ah

  • what are they shooting at? there's nothing in iraq left that needs that kind of concentrated artillery is there?

  • every thing needs it. ha ha ha

  • geeeesus!

  • Get someeeee!!!!! Damn i miss it sometimes...

  • Blowing up Iraq, one fire mission at a time.....

  • somebody is gettin' f@*$&d up!!!

  • Can anyone say steel rain?

  • man I would've loved to be a part of this shoot. Effin Awesome shit right there. Semper Fi

  • if you listen ont ethe film one marine says that it is a regimental fire mission of DPICM (dual purpose improvised conventiona munitions) in other words a bunch of little bombs in each round fired. in a regiment there are four battalions, in a battalion there is usually 3 firing batteries and 6 guns in a battery. so thats usually 72 guns. and these are prob M198 howitzers. they shoot 155mm rounds. maybe theyre m777, dunno

  • ahh awesome thats so much going down range hate to be the target

  • wooooo i bet these guys on the receiving end are wishing that they never evnen knew what an american soldier was right about now

  • Knowing a bit about calling artillery, there are about 24 total guns. 12 close to the camera and 12 to the far left. The very first part of the video shows 12 firing nearly at once, and towards the end you can hear and count each team calling rounds complete. What size guns like 105s or 155s I don't know. Fire for effect boys.

  • damn thats a hellava fire mission!

  • what type of gun is it

if it 105's how do they shoot so fast

    besides the fact their marines

  • Its probably a battery of four guns, hence the amount of shells going down range.

  • there are more the one.... there is probably 3or 4 in each of those streams you see

  • Well, I assume it'd be a battery of them with modern loading systems...

  • take more than one ;;)

  • Fuck yes

  • DPICM = Dual Purpose Improved Conventional Munitions

  • Wow, this is weird seeing this after a few years. I was the voice that said "Roger, shoot." in the beginning (we were in a hurry and had just set the guns up). This is taken from B/1/11's position (Gunny Sarino's voice). 72 guns against a railhead that was off-loading T-72s for a counterattack about five miles outside of Baghdad, hence the BB (Base-Bleed) DPICM in use (to kill armor).

  • I was with A 1/11 in the Gulf war and we shot tons of DPICM over there it was my fav.. I loved shooting RAP rounds at night..

  • did you guys ever get word on the damage to the t72s?

    semper fi

    0341

  • I never new artillery was so slow...

  • dude, that is not slow!

  • army... marines... hell redlegs are redlegs regardless... st barbara knows i would have loved to have participated in this fire mission.

  • are these 105s or 155s and if so how many?

  • Dual Purpose Improved Conventional Munitions. A base ejecting projectile with both anti personell and anti armor bomblets. Combine this with white phosphorus, you have as we Marines call it, "Shake and Bake". These just so happen to be Rocket Assist Projectiles. Thats the glow you see. IMeMine82 Nailed it. This is 11th Marines artillery Regiment out of Camp Pendleton California, This fire mission was during the initial invasion of Iraq against Sadams army. Not mogu *0861 for R5/11 C1/11 HQ11

  • i'm not a soldier but dont terrorists move in small numbers?

wy would you need to open such a can of woopass to kill 5 or 10 guys with towels for helmets.

  • me neither, but I'm pretty sure that these guys ain't firing all those shells just to take out few towelheads...

  • cuz there americans DUH lol

  • I remember lighting up Safwan. In fact, that's what I though this video was. I was USMC from 2000-2004 and was in Mike 3/11 during the invasion.

  • This was, in fact, APR2003 just outside of Baghdad. 11th Marines with detachments from 10th Marines - awesome Regimental mission, probably my favorite from the war. Anybody remember lighting up Safwan Hill?

    India Battery 3/11

    SGT USMC 2000-2004

  • I've seen the guns of the entire 101st ABN Divison

open up on some mofos in the 1st Gulf War. Supplemented with batteries of 155s, 8"ers, and MLRS. Not for 3 minutes but for an hour.

  • after such I slept like a baby.

  • good to know that those guys on the end will be enduring a very bad head ache.

if they still have their head.

  • i think this was from

    Fallujah

they were like trying to soft the target area

before the marines all went in

but damm this is fucking legit

  • Fucken eerie. Too bad if you're off with the first one. lol Price off real estate in THAT neighbourhood be going down.

  • so those green dots in the sky are the shells from howitzers, going supersonic?

  • Base-Burn round (the base has a charge that burns, not like a rocket, as the round travels through the air)

  • 78 howitzers there. 11th Marine Regiment, and a battery from 2nd Mar Div.

  • This goes from terrible to awesome back to terrible again. :D

  • HOLY SHIT< THATS FUCKING AWESOME!! you can see the artillery travel way the fuck over there, that shit it pretty sweet right there..HELL YEA!

  • You can really feel the shock wave ripple through the air as the guns fire if you're out there on the gun line. The smell of all that powder is intoxicating!!! Whenever we would finish a big fire mission like a battery 20, everybody would just be like "Woooooo...!" and ooooorah! You feel the power of your battery. Bore clear, 20 away, base piece!!! That's 29 Palms CAX stuff. And the Sandbox. During Gulf One we fired HUGE H&I missions. Zone and Sweep. Sometimes it feels like the earth will crack!

  • talk about shock n awe

  • dang thats some massive fire power

  • im from sweden and i'll just say good bless america!

  • layin down some shit there!

  • Level those raghead cities to the ground. They raise their kids to hate us, to want to kill us. I say we kill them all.

  • holy fuckin shit

  • holy shit im proud to be an american!

  • aight, there goes about half the city, let's go get a beer fellas....

  • That's why no one messes with the US Army. We will lay down the heavy shit if needed lol.

  • pretty

  • its not preeetty. its bad ass

  • Its pretty bad ass lol

  • Are those base bleed arty rounds, because the heat signatures seem to last a long time? Anyways, nice video, looks like an arc light bombing mission from all the flashes in the distance. Bet that area really got a good "massaging" from the Marines....Sempi fi

  • Hmm.. Probably they're dead.

  • BOOOOOSH!!!

  • COMFIRMED KILL.

  • DEATH FROM ABOVE.

  • Jesus talk about laying down some metal

  • THAT'S AMAZING

  • What kind of arty is this? Its shooting pretty dam fast

  • hellfire rocket, people use rockets more for precision, efficency and a quicker firing rate

  • Hellfire?

    Please.

Hellfire is an air to ground anti tank missile.

They make a "woooosh" sound, not the bang of artillery.

Our only artillery rockets are MLRS, and these ain't them.

  • and i thought they also had the Excalibur...but i can be wrong though.

and ye Hellfire is a air to ground missile mostly fired by an Apache

  • How fast do the rounds move through the air? I know they're fast but it looks like they're floating lazily through the air.

  • Maybe he is talking about the DAGR fired from the M299, which uses the laser guided Hellfire system. Already some stories are calling those Hellfire rockets or Hellfire compatible. Those rockets would still go "wooosh."

  • it is a DPICM regimental firemission

    Dual-Purpose Improved Conventional Munitions

    they are M198 155mm howitzers,

  • M198 howitzers. If it's a regimental fire mission, figure three battalions each with 18 pieces.

  • You are soo gay, a regiments is composed of 3 bty each 6 guns. Battalions it's only used for infantry.

Stop to act like a military king, you are just a military game geek adicted player

    GAY LORD !!!!!

  • u got it backwards regiment/infantry and battalion is generally used for arty, i cant speak for the marines but thats how the army does it, 101st FA Battalion

  • Any survivors down range will probably remember the longest two minutes of their lives forever.

  • Wow those artillery crews manning the weapons must have been busy!

  • Bring the rain...

  • yeah, armoredturkey? speaking as former Marine air....better them than me.

  • Those green blobs are artillery tracer rounds right?

  • lmfao!! you noob... artilery doesnt use tracers lol!!!

  • I'm not a noob..i asked a question.

  • To answer your question, no as far as I know Marine Arty don't use tracers. There are tracer rounds used in artillery, but not for these here. What you're seeing is heat from the round--which is why they seem to fade away towards the end of their firing arc. I hope I answered your question.

  • It's base-bleed rounds. They have a small rocket in back to help increase range. The rocket keeps air from uh... whipping around the base of the shell and dragging it down.

  • Not rocket motors. Base Burn rounds have a burner inside the round's base that burns when the round is fired. The gas from the burning material comes out of holes in the base, which increases the pressure behind the round and decreases base drag & gives the round a longer range.
