Oh and my favourite is the one before the Guy Michelmore, with the 'globey sovereign' effect of the south. Just remember it from younger days.......

Well, as it goes the one at 01:11 is a Guy Michelmore piece, as were the last Spotlight and Look East titles before the horrible generic look took over around 2000. He also did the 1993 Newsroom South East score.  What a genius!!!!!!

My favorites are the Nationwide titles from the 1970s and the early 1980s one following it (with the really good synth music)...

thank you for posting this, i am still only in my teens but recognise the last three opening titles (from my local area). the one before the end was my favorite. I think it's too bad all the themes are the same nowadays, but hey I sill like the BBC!!!
