@benblue3 Aiight, the best way is to do that is to do QCB + Light Punch, then press 3 Punch Button. Be ready because it's going to cancel really fast, so don't be sitting there watching too long lol. Once you press 3 Punch Button to cancel it out, go right ahead into doing the command for the Ultra! ;)
I performed both her 3rd Trial from SFIV & Level 22 from SSFIV with the Dualshock Controller. I used the Left Analog Stick for the QCF, QCFU + 3 Punch Button.
If you think C.Viper's Level 22 is impossible, then try doing her 3rd Trial on SFIV. Let me know which one is the worst to actually clear! I honestly felt that her 3rd Trial was easier to me, only cuz the Crouch Light Punch helped out with doing the Quarter Circle Forward while crouching into the Quarter Circle Forward Up + 3 Punch Button. There's a video from another guy who added the Crouch Medium Punch into the QCF, QCFU + 3 Punch Button which is a lot easier than doing it the normal way ;)

Number 22 is giving me problems. I don't get the whole high jump into burst time which can only be done on the ground. Is it like quarter circle forward into tiger knee motion then all three punches? I try that and can't do it so I'm stuck

@Pistolero3 LK > LP must be a Link, not a Chain, or High Jump will not come out because it's a Special Move.
And also, do the Ultra Motion before the High Jump, the D of the 2nd QCF will be de D of the High Jump, but let go of the pad/stick for a extremely small amount of time after the 1st QCF.
Try doing it with a HP first, then MP, then try the Trial.
For #21, I was doing EX TK and canceling it. Maybe just my imagination, but it looked like the cancel animation was slower than if I did a LP TK and canceled it. So I tried incorporating LP TK with cancel into the combo and was able to get #21 done.
For #21, I have gotten the focus attack, cr HP, Burst Time to connect WITHOUT the TK cancel at least 10 times now. I have also gotten focus attack, cr HP, TK cancel, but by the time Burst Time occurs, Viper is always too far from Dan and completely whiffs. Any suggestions what I am doing wrong or how to correct it? Thanks. (By the way, how is it I can cr HP chained into Burst Time without a TK cancel? I thought ultras couldn't be chained from a normal ground attack)

C. Viper's trials were easy for the most part, but with trial 24, I keep messing up on the first three moves. Before I know it, I'll have gotten it off. I just need a little more practice.
@polobear1975 I asked the same question. Not to mention that the shot's a bit too high up, and since the moves have to be done quickly, you can't really tell all of the sequences that he's doing.

Instead of just making a quarter circle back motion to do the Burning Kick itself, you'd be going from down to back to up in one swift motion. The game recognizes that you've input the commands for both moves: down to back for the Burning Kick command, and up to do a High Jump Cancel into a Burning Kick.

I reckon the viper 24 has changed allot from the orignal street fighter one. Now u can hit the flying burning where ever position u like. while the orignal sf4 version there is a target were u must hit or else it wont show up on the list
@madskilliz These cancels actually allow for these combos to happen. You wouldn't be able to combo a standing jab into ultra I in trial 22 without the super jump cancel etc

t22 - i just did this trial tonight i was so happy and i did it without additional hits. I found that if u wait just a sceond after the lk it makes the rest of the combo easier idk why but it just does. obviously after lk u do qcf lp then qcf uf then ppp i set FP to PPP PEACE 6 buttons all the way. honestly though guys and girls just keep doing it over and over until u get it. sometimes u might get the whole combo but the ultra wont connect dont let it bother u it just means ur getting closer.
can some explain to me why Dan pops into the air after the EX thunder knuckle @2:00 ? Every time I do it he does not stay put like on this video. He would do it sometimes...but as of late..I am just not seeing what I am doing wrong that keeps him popping up in the air.
The secret to number 22 is to input the quarter circle foward motion right before inputting the light punch. then when you input the light punch, do quarter circle foward foward up input and then PPP. I use pad btw (hori ex2 ftw).
For uses in a real match, you'd want to rather super jumpo cancel ultra off of a medium punch since you have more frames for the ultra motion and you can link medium punch off of standing light kick or standing medium punch quite easily.
Why is it that I'm having trouble with trial 18? It's like, i can do the same thing this kid did in the video (the FADC) into the Ultra but the ultra never hits Dan! Yes, I'm doing it against the wall. Yes, I'm doing it impossibly fast. Yes, I even tried doing it on the right side of the stage like in the vid. Yes, it didn't work. So wtf?
I'm hitting the keys, I'm doing the right moves. I'm doing the right everything. It's like Dan just can't be hit by the ultra in this game no matter how I do it...
sigh the only person i could finish full trial is dudley.. i am only at 70.89 percent of all trials.. maybe i shall not use a controller pad but a joy stick ??
I couldn't do these combos with the normal Xbox pad, but I got a Hori EX2 controller. It's exactly like the normal Xbox controller, but the d-pad is way better. I finished all the trials within one day of getting it.
For people having trouble with Trial #22 there is soluction under C. Viper Hard 3 / Trial 22 by SFIVTrialGuide all you do is hjc in to H TK and then FADC into ultra. Only works in the corner if you need a visual check it out. Like this status if it works.
@CUB0W Why do other characters have harder moves while others don't? That's what I hear, its just obvious that at least 1 character would be more execution heavy then another, unless you want everyone to have the same 4-5 moves and the same few combos that all execute in the same feel/way.
@SG5Leroy Yeah I see what you mean and fair enough some will be harder, but you have to admit some are just piss and some are just impossible, it's ridiculous how easy Bison's or T Hawk's are in comparison to Viper or Gen. But I guess it's a challenge
@SonicBoomBrad Just keep practicing. Viper is my main and once I got the timing down for it, I can easily pull this off in matches. It's a great feeling once you can do it. One tip I can give you is this: After the 2nd cr. HP, move the stick to Forward and press LP + MP to get the EX Seismo to come out. It's a neat little shortcut that works everytime!
I complete 21 every time using ppp. But it's an EX cancel that never registers? Just flashes red the back to white! Why? I did this one in 4 and remember the same shit happening!
I'm only having troubles with 21,22, and 24. By the way I only use pad, don't have stick. I heard its possible pulling these trials off with pad. I know for sure this the most difficult Trials in the game by far....

For 22 the exact input that you need to do is jump.HK > stand.LK > D, DF, F + stand.LP > D, DF, F, FU + P
If you don't input exactly like this, your ultra will either come out too late and not hit dan, or you won't get the super jump cancel.
Take your time and learn the motion + the timing. It's actually not that hard and doesn't need to be done super fast.

for 22 you have to do 2 qcf, on the second qcf end on uf and triple punch so the input would be something like 2362369+ppp
do that input as you see the s.lp come out
i did it after a few tries but this has to be done uber fast so if i doesn't come out....do it faster

t22 - i just did this trial tonight i was so happy and i did it without additional hits. I found that if u wait just a sceond after the lk it makes the rest of the combo easier idk why but it just does. obviously after lk u do qcf lp then qcf uf then ppp i set FP to PPP PEACE 6 buttons all the way. honestly though guys and girls just keep doing it over and over until u get it. sometimes u might get the whole combo but the ultra wont connect dont let it bother u it just means ur getting closer.

can some explain to me why Dan pops into the air after the EX thunder knuckle @2:00 ? Every time I do it he does not stay put like on this video. He would do it sometimes...but as of late..I am just not seeing what I am doing wrong that keeps him popping up in the air.

The secret to number 22 is to input the quarter circle foward motion right before inputting the light punch. then when you input the light punch, do quarter circle foward foward up input and then PPP. I use pad btw (hori ex2 ftw).
For uses in a real match, you'd want to rather super jumpo cancel ultra off of a medium punch since you have more frames for the ultra motion and you can link medium punch off of standing light kick or standing medium punch quite easily.

Why is it that I'm having trouble with trial 18? It's like, i can do the same thing this kid did in the video (the FADC) into the Ultra but the ultra never hits Dan! Yes, I'm doing it against the wall. Yes, I'm doing it impossibly fast. Yes, I even tried doing it on the right side of the stage like in the vid. Yes, it didn't work. So wtf?

I couldn't do these combos with the normal Xbox pad, but I got a Hori EX2 controller. It's exactly like the normal Xbox controller, but the d-pad is way better. I finished all the trials within one day of getting it.

For people having trouble with Trial #22 there is soluction under C. Viper Hard 3 / Trial 22 by SFIVTrialGuide all you do is hjc in to H TK and then FADC into ultra. Only works in the corner if you need a visual check it out. Like this status if it works.

@CUB0W Why do other characters have harder moves while others don't? That's what I hear, its just obvious that at least 1 character would be more execution heavy then another, unless you want everyone to have the same 4-5 moves and the same few combos that all execute in the same feel/way.

@SonicBoomBrad Just keep practicing. Viper is my main and once I got the timing down for it, I can easily pull this off in matches. It's a great feeling once you can do it. One tip I can give you is this: After the 2nd cr. HP, move the stick to Forward and press LP + MP to get the EX Seismo to come out. It's a neat little shortcut that works everytime!

I'm only having troubles with 21,22, and 24. By the way I only use pad, don't have stick. I heard its possible pulling these trials off with pad. I know for sure this the most difficult Trials in the game by far....

Ok can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong on c. viper trial 22 when i do Jump [H] kick, stand [L] kick, stand [L] punch, then i magically some how skip the high jump and go straight into the ultra. and when i do get the high jump with the ultra Dan blocks it. so i was wondering I'm i doing it to fast or to slow?
