Any attorneys involved will have everything investigated if xanax has record of causing problems it won't escape blame. If mfr. has history of denial cover up it WILL be held to account. To suggest people aren't responsible for their actions is just what Big Pharma wants for itself. They are more dangerous than any machine gun toting racketeer on the Untouchables old TV show. We'd be better off if no pharma drugs existed NOT extreme view. List of deadly side effects is MILES long.

Well Eli Lilly will not be held accountable because she used the drug in a way that it was not intended. It wasnt even hers. If I drink draino and get sick, should we sue draino? No. And some drugs do need to exist. we are over medicated but drugs save lives. We have cures for many many things. People would be dying of simple infections if not for drugs, and as a chronic pain patient I think its pretty important. If it werent for pain medication I would be in near constant pain. U dont get it.

Sure I get it. In nearly every case there is a non patented substance that works better than drugs without side effects. DMSO is often used for pain as is bromelain & various digestive enzymes taken on empty stomach. For all I know you may be addicted to pain pills, I've heard of such, drug companies want lots of addicts.
