  • fffffffffffffffffffffff7045, uh the economy is already destroyed, or havent you noticed

  • a republican who doesn't simply mindlessly bash the occupy movement? no wonder the GOP and media don't want this guy being the next president; he's not playing the divide and conquer game like everyone else is.

  • @Denutvalde94 what is the population of sweden?

    like 5million!

just cos something might work in sweden doesnt mean it will work here.

plus sweden is a nation state. if the EU have their way, they will overide sweden.

In the USA the federal government implements policies overriding state responsibilities.

i am Okay for socialism or another system so long as it is state implemented and not national.

it will mean if a state has makes mistakes you can vote with your feet to another state.

  • @xpressurs why not go further. why not push more and more power back to even the council level. that way more people can live in the world they want to, and if it becomes bad in your town, you won't have to move town. maybe just move over the road ;)

more people will have there way like this. atm everyone is pushing for their specific ideas on a national scale, when it only has to be local.

    (blanket statement warning)

Power was never even meant to exist on a national scale

    Localism!

  • ron paul needs a running mate that is in line with philosophy of following the constitution and support sound money(anti FED).

that means say he wins the nomination and even the presidency, the people who will like to assainate him will have to assainate the VP as well.cos the VP becomes president when the president is killed or impeached.

  • @xpressurs dennis kucinich would be the ideal running mate for ron paul

  • @FaTalToXicProduction Except he would destroy the economy. Kuchinich is dead-on on war and freedom, but his economic policy is welfare-oriented. At least, though, he's honest and challenges the establishment.

  • title fail: from search it reads "Ron Paul: Raising Taxes On Productive Businesses"

  • I live in Missouri. My vote in the primary will not help, or count.

  • @thisismyusernamemr It will help. Last time, there was overwhelming support for Paul in the primary, but not enough votes. In some cases where there would have been, the vote was closed. Paul has more respect now, and more media attention. If the GOP fails to nominate Paul when his popular support is documented, it will be a BIG deal. So vote in the primary, document your commitment.

  • @stevemcgee99 Yeah, I will, but I'm just saying that it literally will not have any bearing in whom is nominated by the gop. It is unofficial in MO according to what I've read. Apparently this has something to do with a date change? Let me know if you have any knowledge on this?

  • Every time I hear the term "Super Committee" I picture a bunch of libs sitting around a big mahogany table with leotards on A'la super friends.

  • P.S. - Is Ron Paul 420 friendly? I wonder.

  • I'm a constitutionalists too. Been waiting a long time for this. Obama duped me like many others. I was looking' for more transparency, less taxes and better employment and less Police state-ism. thought Obama was it. WRONG. I looked at Ron Paul's history and I am convinced he'll stay his course and WHY NOT?

    Vote Ron Paul :)

  • @comeonmakemyday what did Obama ever say that made you think taxes would be lessened? and what in his record ever made you think he respected the constitution....

  • @shilelea I voted for Obama because he said he'd bring the troops home if elected = less spending, and that he was against torture(water-boarding etc.)2nd and 4th amendment. Two constitutional items that I still believe in, but Obama lied.:(

    Vote Ron Paul 2012.............peace.

  • @comeonmakemyday What the hey are you talking about? Obama repeatedly speaks out against Water Boarding, and even tried to crack down on it on January 2009!

Where's your source that he is continuing to water board? As far as I'm aware, it's only used on troops to train them for torture tolerance.

  • @Lishy1

Do you agree that water-boarding is torture? Are our troops home? Do you agree with the use of drones?

Do you favor assassinations against US citizens? Do you like nation building? Do you agree with the 15 trillion $ deficit? Yes? I thought so, now get off the phone you jackass. Vote...............Ron Paul 2012....

  • @comeonmakemyday Are you a bot? You completely ignored what I said.

  • @Lishy1 Guantanamo is still open, despite orders for it to be closed. What evidence do you have that he's stopped it at all, except for maybe token efforts?

  • Ron Pauls got this!

  • The Spirits of The Revolution are ushering Ron Paul into his rightful position as Keeper of the Constitution of the United States of America. All across this Great Country of ours, we are joing the Spirits in placing Ron into the White House and into the sacred Presidency. Nothing will stop us from protecting our Constitution. In just a few months we will gather en masse to make Ron the Official Representative of Our Constitution. And Finally, we will make him President of the United States.

  • lol well after talking to some of u, ive concluded that many of u guys are nowhere closed to be as principled as ron paul hahaha lol

  • Ron Paul 2012 Massachusetts resident ------ JESUS CHRIST FOREVER------YES CHRISTIANS LIKE RON PAUL TOO

  • @bernie018 haha We should, because Ron Paul is a Christian himself, and is the only one who actually embodies the Bible's principles. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you (foreign policy), as well as sound money and free choice. He recognizes that the government isn't our God.

  • Makes a lot of sense.

  • students owe a trillion?!? Get A grip Ron!!...............Just kidding folks.....tee hee

  • To me , Ron Paul is already president. There will have to be some heavy duty security around me.

  • Register Republican and vote

  • Comment removed

  • RON PAUL 2012 HE REALLY HAS A CHANCE DON'T LET NEO CONS TELL YOU DIFFERENT

  • WAKE UP CALL!! INTERVIEW WITH BRAZILIAN DIPLOMAT DURING CLINTON & BUSH watch?v=E2Vgj76iy3E

  • If another candidate ran, with a solid, socialistic policy, as wide ranging and deep as Ron's, then that would make a good election (if they were pitted with one another)

In other words, I'd not be against a socialistic government, if it could work, without corruption and corporate greed.

Of course for that to work, the old way of government would need to be scrapped... there'd be no way to 'work towards' more socialism.

The dollar is about to collapse.

    THAT REQUIRES A MAJOR FIX.

    Ron Paul!

  • make mine freedom.

  • interesting..

  • @tylerch94 L O L

  • I AM A SOCIALIST. Choke on that.

  • @235RB EVIL!!!!

  • @235RB, we like socialist idea, but find it unworkable Utopia. 1) equality and freedom can not exist together - equality in practice is always "equally poor"; 2) without free-market, price formation is gone as well as good managed economy - USSR had to rely to capitalist market abroad to learn about prices.

Google free PDF file "Socialism" by Ludwig von Mises.

  • @ForLiberty888 Sweden is a great example of working socialism. many companies that the government own (liqour shops, ore companies and such) make great profits selling products abroad, the money goes straight to the government. There are free healthcare for everyone, a good school system and not so much influence from Eu and big companies. For example, we dont have many laws that restrict our internet. Other nice countrys with woriking socialism is Norway, Danmark and Finland.

  • @Denutvalde94 The main difference between the US and the Scandinavian countries is that the US has to maintain an empire because it has to guard the oil, which is pegged to the dollar. The root problem is banking system (The US has the biggest banks) which make bad investments, The Fed has to bail them out (printing money), which in turn the FORCES the US to maintain an oil empire so that its currency stays afloat. Like Ron Paul says: it's an empire or social systems, you can't have both...

  • @manniman82 read my reply to denutvalde94 about scandinavia. you sound like a socialist sympathizer too. i do agree that the fed and the wars are bad though. but for you to suggest that socialism is not part of the problem is ridiculous.

  • @sillynanny44 I dont think that the answer for USA is socialism, different countrys needs different systems. I think that the constitution would not have wanted USA to grow into a socialism state, but neither should USA become a state run by the companies. If i would live in the states, i would definatly vote for Ron Paul, as he is the only one that really wants to bring USA back to what it should be.

  • @sillynanny44 First of lay of the socialist paranoia, I am all for FREE MARKET (true free market not what we have now) but there has to be some socialism as well (as in SOCIAL services to take care of the mentally ill and other cases which are not functional, or else we become eugenicists). In that regards, Scandinavia is way more socialist than America but you have a point about deregulation.

  • @sillynanny44 Also, you have to be a realist, you and I are believers of true free market but some people will still want more socialism EVEN after having understood what the benefits of true free market are. It's called democracy, some people have different opinions, that's life. I, personally, don't agree with socialism, I want it as little as possible and only in the cases I said to you earlier but the fact is that that level of free market is unattainable in the short/medium term in the US

  • @Denutvalde94 SOCIALISM FAILS. it's just that you guys have less socialism than we do. have you been to the US? because you dont seem to have a clue. America is far more socialist than scandinavia & germany in many ways. u guys had ongoing deregulation, privatization, your unions dont get as much special privileges as ours do, you got much lower corporate income tax and your high personal income tax do not get redistributed as much as ours do! all those applies to ALL OF SCANDINAVIA & GERMANY

  • @sillynanny44 Less socialism in Sweden than in USA? The taxes in USA is basically lower on all planes in the society, especially around the ones that earn the most. The cliffs between the poor and the rich in Sweden do barely exist. Our unions basically control the companies, with many implemended functions that the majority of the people have voted for . For example, if you lose ur job, you get up to 80% of your income, 2 months paid vaccation and a trustfund where the companys pays the pension

  • @Denutvalde94 did you not hear me? or do u not believe me? we have much higher corporate income tax in the US. your higher personal income tax doesnt get redistributed as much as american personal income tax. BECAUSE u have less dependent people. you have less dependent ppl because scandinavia has had ongoing deregulation and privatization. these are the facts. not to mention alot of other stuff like school choice etc. u have no clue about the ridiculous american govt bureaucracies either

  • @sillynanny44 Im not actually that sure if American companies pays more in income tax than in Sweden. But American companys also much more often have their fabrics and such abroad, so they doesnt help with jobs and such. In Sweden, allmost all the big companies are stated in Sweden, companies like Volvo, Saab, IKAB, Ikea. But one difference from USA is that our value added tax is much higher, gaining much of the states incomes. Currently it is at around 25%.

  • @sillynanny44 Yes, American buroceasies is pretty messed up... Thats why they shoudlnt be there in the first place

  • @Denutvalde94 The topic of this conversation in the video is the elimination of corporatism and special interests derived from a centralized government power.

Swedes don't have a problem with corruption. America does, that's why people like Ron Paul need to be in office.

  • @Denutvalde94 I'm moving to Sweden.

  • @ForLiberty888 On point. However, though freedom and total equality are contradictory notions, there can still be SOME sort of equality in a free society. It's about equal opportunity. In capitalism, complete equality will never exist. But what does exist is the opportunity for ANYONE to become successful. Most people take it for granted, but its true. In the USSR you could never improve your status. The only inequality we face in this country is economic, which unfortunately will always exist.

  • @ForLiberty888 We need true capitalism if we want to experience that freedom and equal opportunity again. As Mises said: "Either capitalism or socialism: there exists no middle way." Since many of the biggest corporations do not pay taxes, that automatically puts the small-business owner at a disadvantage. John Locke defined our natural rights of "Life, Liberty, and Property". Income tax on these small business owners (or anyone else, for that matter) is a violation of their right to property.

  • @235RB Good for you noob.

  • Remove big leviathan from all services and see costs go down. Support small business with minimal taxes and regulations and see business grow. Allow the people to dictate goods and services. Remove fed administration waste. Abolish the fed res. Dismantle the irs. Obamadrone wants to add more tax to upper middle Americans.

  • Libertarianism is the antithesis of socialism - you can't mix both, it's an oxymoron, like saying "I'm for the government leaving me alone but I also want the redistribution of wealth!" That's not Libertarianism, which would argue that people should not be forced to contribute to government programs - like healthcare - socialism forces such a situation.

  • One dislike, Obama

  • @YT420rt

obama doesn't waste his time checking on what the "little people" think... LOL

  • @YT420rt Short, sweet, and hilarious.

  • @YT420rt One Dislike, Obama ..... .good comment.

  • im sick and tired of pseudo libertarians spewing the same nonsense that they hear from bill maher & jon stewart. no wonder u guys only attack FOX news when CBS only gave ron paul 89 seconds. you guys r socialists sympathizers!

  • @sillynanny44 Well. I'm a Socialist Libertarian so I do agree with some aspects of Socialism that are absolutely needed, but I also think that the door should still be open to free market economics. Take for example, Healthcare, I believe there should be a government run healthcare system that has an opt out option for private alternatives.

  • @tylerch94 "im a socialist libertarian" LOL now i got proven FACT that im not paranoid! i knew socialists are trying to hijack this libertarian movement. hahaha! thanks for that. if theres an opt out option ppl who paid more into the system than they receive would all opt out and your socialist system will fail even faster than if businesses just move overseas(due to regulations and taxes)

  • @sillynanny44 But it's not hijacking the Libertarian movement... Libertarian Socialists have been around for awhile now, just do a quick search on Google. Just as there is a Conservative side of Libertarianism there is a very liberal side. Also "ppl who paid more into the system than they receive would all opt out" is not true, some people actually prefer their healthcare to be provided by the government, just like entrust private companies to provide it. It's a matter of choice!

  • @tylerch94 LOL socialist libertarian doesn't even make sense

  • @brownspottedbanana Actually it does, just Google "Libertarian Socialism" or "Left Libertarian".

  • @tylerch94 the point is that coercion = anti liberty. you socialists should get a better moral compass and learn economics. kthxbai ;D

  • @sillynanny44 Hey you sillynanny44 - that is great you are a Ron Paul supporter. I am too. In your ranting though you bring up a good point, that the word "democracy" in incorrect. The word is loosely used today and shouldn't be. Since I am pro rule of law and pro three branches of government I will instead use "republic" which is accurate.

  • @getbo Agreed, it annoys the hell out ouf me when people say "democracy" rather than "republic".

  • i dont get how putting back the regulations that the backs lobbied with millions of dollars buying our congress to get rid of all the laws that kept them from robbing this country blind is over regulation can someone please explain this to me? put all the damn regulations back keeping a company from robbing you does not make it a failure

  • @xxoangel1992 yeah ill explain it to u if ull listen. 1st of all 50,000 regulations were added during bush alone. u got sarbanes oxley, dodd frank, community reinvestment act, bureaucracies, the fed interest rates etc. the only regulation that was partly repealed was glass steagall. that part was only used to mitigate the dmg caused by other govt regulations like fdic(from GS), artificially low interest rates, sponsored rating agencies, f&f, bailouts etc. im against **PREEMPTIVE** regulations

  • we had an industrial revolution w/o income tax. taxes were also cut during JFK. the idiots from the left point to certain periods of tax cuts and say jobs werent created. well thanks to the regulations and government spending of course the jobs werent created DUH. govt regulated them overseas. their keynesian bubbles destroyed them! i hope you guys educate yourselves before you call yourselves libertarians/ron paul supporters

  • @sillynanny44 err the tax cuts that the left points to werent even real tax cuts considering the inflation tax and regulation costs for businesses. i used that term loosely there. you socialists are economic illiterates. get a clue. TYT jon stewart, thom hartmann, elizabeth warren, bill maher, paul krugman etc etc are all intellectually dishonest. many of them if not all of them are cowards. they avoid debates w/ laissez-faire ideologues like peter schiff.

  • Wake up - Dr Paul may be our last chance to save the people from slavery to the debt

  • i agree w/ ron paul but you socialists/fake ron paul supporters need to get a clue. it's not just the fact that u want to keep the income tax. it's that you guys obviously got brainwashed by the leftwing media, which is basically almost every source other than FOX. dumb idiots. complain about the war but supports abortion? complain about corporate welfare but wants more government programs for yourself? hypocrites

  • @sillynanny44 Fox is also a shithole (except for Stossel and the judge) and abortion is not a good example. It can only divide the movement for liberty and we do not need that right now.

  • @SloterMFmeyer this libertarian movement is getting hijacked by socialists/economic illiterates! i agree that fox is ridiculous but ppl seems to focus on fox because they want ppl to only attack fox when they probably need like 20-30 televisions to watch all their left liberal tv shows!

  • @sillynanny44 You are right. But since only a few people truly understand Austrian economics, we need economic illiterates to win. A lot of people support socialist policy because they think it is 'liberal' and they should be taught. Pointing out their falacies harshly and creating devision by bringing up social issues like abortion (a policy that supports the two party paradigm) will not help to get Ron Paul elected. I am from Europe and we need all of you to elect Ron Paul to teach us the way!

  • @sillynanny44 lol, nice comparisons, how old are you? 5?

  • @235RB 5 year olds know that stealing is wrong. "i am a socialist choke on that" lol you're an economic illiterate.

  • lol i see all these comments about how u guys disagree w/ ron paul on economics. i knew it, a bunch of morons pretending to be ron paul supporters. can you guys use your brain or do u like to get brainwashed by TYT olbermann hartmann jon stewart etc?

  • This 'supercommittee' is a SHAM. The purpose of this committee is to sway our thoughts and make believe that the committee's decision is the way it's suppose to be! We should ignore this super committee and not let their messages be influenced on us!

    Thumb up for this awareness!

  • Comment removed

  • Ron Paul is a education if we the sheep only wakeUP ! VOTE, VOTE ,TALK ,TELL,and SHOUT RON PAUL!!!

  • Our democracy is being destroyed - Ron Paul's understands the problem and knows how to fix it - Ron Paul 2012!!

  • @getbo democracy = mob rule. democracy is disgusting and it's being used to destroy individual rights as we speak.

  • A certain amount of taxes won't kill us. Nobody will decide to not make 1 million dollars because they will only be able to keep 800K. Oh...I'd rather make zero dollars than 800K.

  • @TickleMehNancy you dont get the point. the more money a business owner has, the more he can expand and create jobs. sure, everybody should be taxed somewhat, but in order to patch our economy, we need to ensure advancement in the private sector. now for people who outsource there businesses, i think they should be taxed heavily.

  • @toSTONEiGO people expand fine with the amount of taxes we have now. regulations and law suits impede growth more than taxes.

  • @TickleMehNancy raise taxes so you can keep your socialist programs? no thanks libertarians are not thieves

  • @sillynanny44 did you attend private elementary, middle and high school? Public university? Call 911 or would you call 911? All 'socialist' programs.

  • @TickleMehNancy i know what socialism means. im for anarchocapitalism. government steals from the ppl and they then have to use the monopolized inefficient programs. ppl should get tax breaks for not using those socialist nonsense.

  • @sillynanny44 Anarcho-capitalism! I've been living it up with Murray Rothbard, too! lol Monopolies are only a creation from government. In a free market, no such thing would emerge. We should pay for the services and good we voluntarily choose! No taxes. What-so-ever. Tax = Theft. When a fee becomes 100% voluntary, it is no longer a tax but a paid-for service, a voluntary trade :D Good comment.

  • @05121784 i agree. i think real libertarians are in the tiny minority. even minarchist libertarians like ron paul are too few.

  • @TickleMehNancy Are you implying that if we support one government service/program, we should support them all? Implying that calling 911 makes you a socialist is like implying that being for pulling one soldier out of the Middle-East makes you anti-war. Lol

  • @hXcPegz No I didn't imply that. I said they were socialist/government ran programs I don't see how you can dispute this.

  • LETS LEGALIZE FREEDOM VOTE RON PAUL!!!

  • Rep. Ron Paul, the libertarian-leaning Republican presidential candidate from Texas, has become an unlikely hero among bar and restaurant workers as he fights for a bill that would end all taxes on tips -- the bread and butter of bartenders and waiters.

  • WATCH = Professor Murray Sabrin admits Ron Paul is silenced by the media because of the Federal Reserve

  • He probably thinks Greenspan or bernanke do a good job I bet

  • @BigLui2909 Nope. RP dislikes both.

  • @BigLui2909 Hes been talking the same game since Greenspan controlled it in the 80's........ you just saying this tells me you have no idea what your talking about....

  • No reason.. mmh you should get a new professor.

  • I have a professor who explained that there is no reason why people in America should worry about the debt ceiling, or America's continuos borrowing because we "are the reserve currency" (meaning other nations need the dollar to purchase oil). The problem with this is that big banks, GM, Solarya (solar company) and who ever else is a friend of the banks or politicians get money, while we (the middle class and below) get poorer, dealing with the bd consequences those companies passed to us!

  • I will vote for Dr.Paul but do not agree with him on not taxing the richest of americans

  • @dobsonimages The richest already pay 70+ percent of all taxes.

  • This is one thing that I do not agree with Ron Paul on. Perhaps the only thing! I believe that in order to have a true free market all industry and business needs to be treated equal. No bailouts, no government grants that will appease lobbyists and special interest groups. Just a true open market, let the consumers decide what companies fail and which succeed based on the quality of service that they provide.

  • @RMD343 I missed the part where you disagree with ron paul? thats what ron paul has been advocating for 30 years

  • Im sorry but lowering taxes nd trickle down economics, is a joke. Its been shown time and time again that higher taxes in this countries history helps the economy, please look into it, these are facts. The economy under regean and Clinton boomed because they both raised taxes, reagan did it 11 times lol. All of the sudden conservatives act like rasing taxes on the uber wealthy is a new idea and a bad one, where they get this idea? Who knows!!?

  • @235RB

"Its been shown time and time again that higher taxes in this countries history helps the economy"

Wrong. The opposite has been shown.

  • @itachi705 right, then why when taxes were higher did the economy do better? Ex: Clinton, 20 million jobs were created when he was president, thats more than any other president in history, If you do some research instead of buying into the false premise of tax breaks for "job creators", you will find that the countries economy has run better under democratic economic policies. Also, look at Bushes policy, of giving huge tax breaks, they were a huge failure, they created hardly any jobs.

  • @235RB You also have to remember that during President Clinton's terms there were some MAJOR things that went on that padded his numbers.

    1) Everyone bought a computer, along with that computer they bought printers, scanners, software, etc.

    2) The internet created MILLIONS of jobs which conversely disappeared when the .COM bubble burst, which isn't touted by Dems when they talk about Clinton.

Also, just because a policy helps "right now" doesn't mean it doesn't cause problems later.

  • @235RB correlation does not equal causation. JFK cut taxes too you know. 50,000 regulations were added during bush administration alone. cutting taxes helps but we also have to cut spending and get rid of all the preemptive regulations. you're obviously an economic illiterate

  • Funny how OWS has left Ron Paul babbling in the dust of irrelevancy.

  • @eBe4IXcept What the fuck does that even mean?

  • @TheSWTORMMO i was thinking exactly the same thing hahaha!

  • @eBe4IXcept lolwut we still have an election to finish

  • say HUD, say HUD.

    priceless.

  • Paul is finally getting some good media coverage.

  • Productive businesses like General Electric that make 14 billion in profits and pay zero taxes? Taxing this giant wouldn't make problems worse at all, businesses like this need to be taxed extra. Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • @juicyj2781

Didn't GE pay -45% in taxes last year?

  • Don't they also own one of the major news medias too? Maybe that's why they get a hook up.

  • Restore the Constitution. Restore the Republic.

  • Do not agree on all things with Ron Paul, but from among all candidates, if he is not elected, we may as well prepare our sheep pins for use. Because it will still be the same old evils to choose from, if Ron Paul can get even 5 per cent of what he wants, at least we will be on the road to some kind of real change.

  • @4390100 Completely agreed!

  • @4390100

    Well said.

People don't get that they don't have to agree with everything a candidate stands for. That is just human nature. However, you have to ask yourself if the majority of their beliefs make sense from a constitutional stance, as I believe that's the whole point of a President. You get the power to protect life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness by adhering to Constitutional law and protecting Americans with a strong national defense and upstanding diplomacy with others.

  • @4390100 if you're a socialist, we dont want you. kthxbai

  • @4390100 I am not preparing for a sheep pin! You should not have that perspective either!! I'm saying we should be self-sustaining and heading for the hills with our IDEAS and products of capitalism. That is, food, water, guns, energy - from the knowledge on how to supply and survive with the essentials. Those who are self-sustaining must protect themselves from LOOTERS and those who want fed in their sheep pin at the expense of betraying their life, freedom and dignity and those who PRODUCE.

  • @4390100 im not talking about bush regulations im talking about regulations that have been in place since this country was made the corporations and wallstreet bough or government and used it to legaly rape it financially putting back the regulations that kept this from happening isnt over regulation

  • 6:55 for windows noise :)

  • Ron Paul is soooo cool!

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

  • Raising taxes on the industry is what has driven out our businesses to Asia for the past 30 years. This needs to stop, businesses MUST be able to thrive in the Western world, or else we're doomed.

  • Bow to GODPAUL

Snatching your favorites weave since the 70's

  • Dude, you guys need to learn how to count.. seriously. :)

  • 6th?

  • Someone is lying.. who really is in 3rd place? I mean the timestamp vs the order doesn't make sense... I JUST HAVE TO KNOW NOW!!!!

  • 5th!

  • 3rd!

  • @l80sman104 HA! Your 4th.

  • @xjustin523x 4th!!!

  • 3rd
