The Kirata (Sanskrit: किरात) is a generic term in Sanskrit literature for people who lived in the mountains, particularly in the Himalayas and North-East India and Mongoloid in origin.

I hope we have Kirati drivers in Nepal. I am sick of seeing Kiratese joining British, Indian army.
Drivers are very important in Nepal because drivers contribute to Nepal building. Driver dai help people, Nepali to move from one place to another. Just imagine if we have no driver dai, Nepal will come to standstill. So hopefully i want to see Kiratese becoming driver dai if they do not want to study hard in school. Becoming lahure i feel so shame. I am proud of all driver dai in Nepal.
Buddha was born in Nepal. He came to Kathmandu valley during King Jitedasti. King Jitedasti was a 7th King from Kirat dynasty. And yeah Ashoka never ruled Nepal because Kirat at that time were very strong. Kirat only succumbed to Licchavis in around 330AD during King Gasti who was 29th Kirat King.

Kathmandu, March 18 (IANS) In the worst road accident in Nepal this year, at least 25 people were killed when a bus fell off the highway and plunged into a river in western Nepal Thursday with eyewitnesses fearing the toll could go up.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. in a village called Kittu as the passenger bus run by the Kakre Vihar Yatayat, a private transport company, was heading towards Surkhet district from Dailekh, police said.
@grntara78 that's why i have told kiratis to become driver dai if they do not want to study hard in school. becoming paltan lahure is very shameful in this 21st century. now kiratis must help build kiratdesh nepala because it seems that without kiratas in nepal politics, nepal is going downhill. that's why kiratas must return home and help run nepal. kiratas are not corrupted and do not take bribe. also kiratas do not follow caste system unlike brahmin and chettri ministers.
