@Zoroark98 Only one boss from each era, and it also would've resulted in two Metal Sonic fights, not to mention this fight would need multiple characters in play to properly represent. Current arrangement is best - all three bosses require Sonic on his own, though the Generations versions also remove any form changes from them, but that still provides a more reasonable drop in difficulty than down from multiple super forms.

Sonic Heroes was my step into the Sonic series...I remember trying everything to unlock this stage before I heeded the endgame notices. That 4th Emerald was a pain, no wonder Shadow cursed it in StH. It was a pain to get!

After you beat him, you must collect the 7 emeralds through special stages to unlock Metal Sonic, who is the real final boss.

@XKaiyamariEX No. It's on GameCube, PS2, Xbox, and PC. It was taken out of production a while ago, but the PS2, GameCube, and Xbox versions are still easy to find used. And they're really cheap. The PC version had a limited release and is tougher to find.

3:40 : flying threw the air, have awesome amount of power, fighting in high speed, and an awesome theme song, HA and they say mario the plumer that throws turtles or cut bridges to beat a 6 foot snaping turtle is better then a super sayain like hedgehog that battles 30ft robot dragons that can throw battle ships at you that even your side kick could break it into pieces with his fist, and controls time (he can use chaos control but this guy beat him to fast for him to use it). sonic wins bigtime

Actually, 90% of sonic games are horrible now. Generations was ok. Mario Games are usually decent-god tier. Sonic is also the cliche of being the opposite of what an animal is known for. Super Sonic is also a horrible plot device.

Mario is already pretty strong. Mario can hurl fire, SWIM IN WATER, fly (sort of) and w/e else power up he has. Seriously they are pretty tied up lets not forget his hammer either

The Gimmick Era... Heroes, Shadow, Black Knight and Unleashed. Four epic titles with new innovations for Sonic, They need to make more games with unique motifs. These games added so much variety. Even SA and SA2 had extra character gameplay styles for variety. This new era of Colors and Generations is too repetitive in comparison. Please SEGA, even if it's after a few years to please the retro fagboys, bring Sonic back!
