Great to see to Bathurst when it was real. No-one ever died and I never saw any fights. If you want family friendly fun TAKE YOUR FUCKING KIDS TO TOY STORY FIVE then go home and watch the race on TV. I don't think I could stand to go back there now. It would break my heart....
Mad Max is one of the best car movies. Far more better than The Fast And The Furious. It includes less bitches and whoring and more furious chase scenes, brutal action and more stuf involving blood guts and gore galore. This movie is a must for those who enjoy speed, cars and great action with less slutbag whores and their whoring.
I only have this on VHS, is it available on region 1 (NTSC) DVD?
I'd pay to own another copy.
And as a total aside, I'm a big video gamer, and can't figure out why game developers never include Bathurst in their racing sims. Freakin awesome track!
And that coming from a Yank whos only seen Ausie Supercars on TV.
(I did actually get to meet & have dinner with John Goss at Ford's Centennial in Detroit, though! What a thrill!)
@eyesoresoob Get yourself a copy of V8 Supercars 2 - that features Bathurst, Surfers, Adelaide amongst heaps of other tracks...(its an Aussie game but you'd be able to find it on the net somewhere I'd reckon...)
Great Documentary if you can get your hands on a copy. I went to a screening of it a few years ago, hopefully Warner Home Video includes it as a special feature on the Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior - for you Americans) special edition DVD!

"And that's how you get to Silverton" Ha Ha!
What a great independant film!
I picked this Doco up when it first came out.
This and "Back 2 the Max" hold prized spots in my Mad Max collection.
