wallis can play a guitar with either hand right or left. I say her do it years ago. I know wasllis and a string broke on her guitar and she simply flipped it over to the other hand and played it upside down. She is very talented. She is Fab!!!!

you should take a look at the way she is playing and HOLDING the guitar. it's not "really" lefthanded...

but she's really cool! Like her music very much!

how can it not 'really' be left handed? A guitar is either right or left handed and hers is left handed. Simple as. She can hold is whatever way she wants.

i guess she lost some fingers on her left hand in an accident and somehow ended up playing a right-handed guitar upside down.

Wallis damaged her hand when she was younger and taught herself to play the opposite way, she plays right hand guitar but upside down and turned around. I know this because she bought her first guitar from my shop 'Minstrel Music' in Wexford Ireland. We fitted a pick-up to the right handed guitar, upside down!

I didn't know she's got a damaged hand. I was just wondering how she is playing that right-handed guitar the other way round. I was a bit amazed and wondered at the same time. Butit's really cool. Never seen someone else playing this way. I like it especially the sound she makes! ;)

Her guitar is strung right handed, but she plays left handed, much like Hendrix, meaning she's actually playing upside down. Either way I look at it though, she plays better than me, and I'm handy ;)

@mujiel What I think the story is that Wallis got a guitar for christmas that was rigt handed, then she had that accident with the lawnmower and lost a few finger, they were all sown back aprt from then little finger! because of this she learned to play a right handed tguitar pretty much upside down!

@feoil hendrix does use a right handed guitar... but he strings it for left handed playing, and since its an electric guitar (iconically a strat) its just more obvious to the eye that its upside down... her acoustic is symmetrical so really, the only thing making it a right handed guitar is the strings, and maybe some dot markers on the neck

@Malsh90ToPresent DID YOU KNOW... being a bit of a train spotter here. Part of the sound of JH's Strat was due to the magnet heights being all "wrong" for a re strung left handed strat. The pre CBS pickups where step biased for the frequencies of each string. Something the re-issues tend to miss. As far as Wallis Bird's guitar, she might have dots, but I can't see her needing them. Oh I'm only a drummer, don't take my word for it. but I can count above 4

Ein Riesentalent. Warum hört man sowas nie im Radio, sondern nur diesen Einheitsbrei?

Man merkt, dass sie die Musik liebt und lebt. Sie hätte das Potenzial eine ganz Grosse zu werden. Aber leider werden lieber völlig talentfreie Hupfdohlen gefördert. Schade, dass solche Talente zu Gunsten von Nichtskönnern geopfert werden.
