Well we really don't need americans to redo it either. We can buy the dvd's of the original anytime to hear it. I think it's the acting part of it all I don't like. Just play the music.

These girls were all actors who had to learn the instruments to make this movie. It's a good movie and worth a watch. I think they do a good job.

@00callie1 Callie I would like to point out that the "asians" are from the movie Swing Girls and this is a small part of that movie... That is why there is acting combined. They needed actors to play instruments and they did a damned good job of it too. The originals were great yes, but remakes come in all shapes sizes and cultures. Why do you have to be such a racist about this?

If I read the history of this correctly they were all handed instruments and told to learn how to play them. Took two years, they were all actors, not musicians.
