  • is this movie just like"a raisin in the sun"?

  • Just saw it...I loved it! Hated Dallas' character...she was a BITCH!

  • I love this movie, probably my most favourite, and i'm a guy

  • im a 14 year old straight guy and i appreciated it.

  • I liked the movie but that it was a white savior film really damages it for me.

  • I liked the movie because of the same reason. But at the end of the movie,I felt like crying.I just thought I have another reason to hate white people. But then I thought about movie about and said"I don't hate white people,I least like them."

  • @LaughingRobloxian you cant hate all white people because of a few rich snobs 50 years ago- thats effing racist. Notice how backwards you are?

  • this is a pretty shitty movie. in my opinion.

  • Today I saw Drive, 50/50 and this. By far The Help was most compelling one.

  • Dang...this is a good movie.

  • LOL. watching this in class.

  • EAT MY SHIT!

  • This movie is awesome. Its Best Picture nom is well-deserved.

  • I've spent the day gearing up for the oscars and I finished with this movie, I really liked it. Five best pics noms down and this one is tied with The Artist as my favorites (The Tree of Life can suck it).

  • ngidjqogrgrbbe

  • So this is nom'd for best picture....this is what the academy thinks is better than Drive. I'm sorry i don't see that

  • @Advent3546 dont worry mate i seriously agree with you

  • I was 13 and I LOVED this movie. I saw it twice in theaters and bought it. Then I read the book, ah SO COOL.

  • Hey Jeremy, do you like chocolate pie?

  • watched it liked it not much to say besides... eat my spoilers! ><

  • This movie was simply amazing.

  • I used to like pie and then i took an arrow to the knee

  • why cant I eat pie? lol

  • I liked the movie... but I did need to watch it in English class... and compare it to To Kill a Mockingbird... yeah, that part wasn't so great. But, I thought it was a great movie. Especially Minnie. :P Haha, 'Minnie don't burn chicken." Best line.

  • What's with the pie in the comments?

  • @Malaikat31 watch the movie and find out. though it's quite gross.

  • @patty1947 tell me, i never even eat chocolate pie

  • Dont eat chocolate pie while eating this movie...

  • Octavia Spencer takes the Pie

  • Fucking adored this film I have never cried so hard in my life

  • I loved this movie, especialy since im from a city nearby jackson, which minnie said she was from (belzoni), the movie was great for me.

  • Comment removed

  • I just hate how its 2012 and missipi is still alittle bit like that. It seems in my opianian this is no such thing as a good white person. They can help you and take care of you and still be racist. i have white friends but i dont truest them one bit

  • @jum90 then your a racist simple enough and what i think you mean is prejudiced not racist, racist means you actually hate a race. prejudiced means you have preconceived notions on how an entire race actually is its more a state of ignorance than hate really im black and i love white people i love everybody who isnt a complete dumbfuck asshole

(aka racist hillbillies ghetto hood rat stereotypes you know that stuff)

  • The scene of Emma Stone's maid was heart breaking

  • EAT. MY. SHIT. XD

  • @KiraismyLord my fav part i like when the craker ate the pie and got surprised

  • fantastic film

  • Whoa Whoa Whoa.... Dumbledore is totally real

  • @XCMAX10X You're high.

  • im 16 and i loved this movie. im completely serious.

  • the movie was amazing and i cried.

  • I used to like chocolate pie...

  • @bornowl But then you took a video to the eyes.

  • Saw it, it was really good and I cried at the end.. DONT JUDGE ME, IT WAS TOUCHING.

  • I wanna see this!

and yes, review Demon souls / Dark Souls.

    I dare you, Jeremy.

    DARE

  • Yay you have ADD too!

  • I was reluctant to see this, thinking I would embarrass myself being the only guy in the theater, but there were some guys there and it was great nonetheless so go see regardless of your gender.

  • It was a bittersweet movie for me, I liked it, but the ending was so sad. That being said, I REALLY want to read the novel.

  • This was an amazing movie.... I cried throughout the entire movie!

  • I had a batch movie outing to this movie... I slept through the first hour of it but I did enjoy the rest I got to see. The 'eat my shit' part was hilarious too.

  • I watched the Help and I absoloutely loved it!

  • I wish you were famous I love your reviews you should get paid for this

  • I am a male student in college and I saw the trailer for this at the cinema and I was like "OMG THAT LOOKS AWESOME!" because I don't think there are enough films focusing on situations like this. The last one I rememeber was The Secret Life of Bees but that wasn't really focusing on the racism much. But I love it when films like this are released because I like watching films about black people. I'm white and I actually honestly think black people are nicer than white people.

  • i almost cried when i watched this movie, but one part made me laugh and cry (so i guess i did, in a way) that "eat my crap" part XD

  • I SAY THE HELP CRYED LAUGHD LOVED IT!!!!!! BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SENN SO IS THE MOVIE RV

  • This movie was great and I did wat to cry in some parts, some people are just so cruel. I am shocked though that you didn't even mention the crap pie!

  • i watched it today, by the end, the movie theatre was full of sniffling women

  • You're quoting Dumbledore. I love you.

  • I am SO happy that I've been in America for a short holiday, when the movie came out! Because here in Germany it's not gonna be in the cinemas and I just LOVED that movie! It was one of these movies that meant something! LOVE IT!!! And I actually did cry... *sniff* And you guys are NOT allowed to complain about books you need to read for school! Cause you don't have idiots like Fontane or Büchner or any other stupid German old dude! They SUCK! Well except for Schiller maybe ;P

  • i saw planet of the apes with mom. then we saw the door to the help open and mom walked into to see if she could catch the last few minutes. it turned out it was starting in ten minutes… so we stayed. loved this movie ><

  • Dumbledore WAS real... I think... actually there were two of him in the movies so maybe... does this mean Hermione isn't real either?

  • Anyone else not cry, but feel like they should have?

  • review the tiny toons :D

  • review the tiny toons :D

  • Hilly Holebrook can eat shit....oh wait she did :P

  • DO BLOW!!

  • Shawshank redemption REVIEW!

  • HEEEEEEEEEELLLL NO!!!

  • oh yeah they both played Gwen Stacey

  • I liked this movie.. Mainly because it took me by surprised.. I was expecting a serious drama, about maids who get mistreat and abused by their racist employees.. and blablabla..and it was about that, but It was also funny, very enjoyable to watch.. and some characters were very interesting.. so I agree this movie deserves some Oscar nominations.. and stuff..

  • review serbian film, its a challenge.

  • I just saw The Help today and I'll just be straight up and say I enjoyed this more The King's Peach...err....The Kings Speech. Nm, had it right the first time. Idk if it's because Emma Stone is hot and I have a thing for red heads or just because she's an amazing actress. Actually it was both. Point is, great fucking movie, deserves some Oscar nominations next year.

  • Rule of thumb: If there is a video where a youtuber is talking, anywhere where you pause the video you will see a funny face. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • @APPLESAUCE50 lol u noticed that too :D

  • Just saw it. Loved it. Laughed. Cried. Thought. Recommending it to everyone =)

  • I'm in High School and I absolutely loved The Help! Great Review!

  • I didn't know you were white Jeremy.

  • I thought that this review was pretty spot on. I can’t wait to see it. Have you seen “Programming the Nation?” Now that movie doesn’t disappoint. Thanks again, for all your help. I can’t wait to see what you do next. bit. ly/onvESA

  • can u review the butterfly effect?

  • mark twain's stories were all in missouri, not mississippi, hehe o.O

  • Jeremy:

    "It's touching in parts! I ain't apologizing."

Replay that bit! You sound like Mal Reynolds! O_O

  • Glad that people are watching this.

  • The Help was awesome, and the time just flew by.

  • You should review Demon's Souls!

  • @alvaro1121 hell yes

  • great review! the movie was awesome. it did not feel like it was 2 hours long. this movie will make you laugh and cry. everyone was clapping and drying their eyes at the end. i will defintely watch this movie again.

  • you should review the godfather trilogy :)

  • although i think your right and the help is a touching drama, i don think im going to watch it. just cant sit through something like that in theaters. i am saving all my 140 minute drama viewings until oscar time. thanks for the review

  • I completley love this movie, I teared up at least 5 times during this movie, it is very well acted, and because of that you get attatched to the characters. It is a great movie :)

  • I am 25 and a guy I seen the movie and it was great I just wonder if all the book is in the movie. ( Should I read the book???)

  • @VIDEORECORDERMIKE814 Yes the book is such a good read

  • i just saw it today and i loved it

  • aaaah yes finally i can see ur reviews and i did click right there to see more *sock!

  • it looks cool, I want to see it :)

  • I'm 14 (and a guy) and I love films like this, along with most other types of film.

  • @spawn10317

You weren't making fun of yourself. That's just your lame ass excuse for a typo. Please you're embarrassing. Not only did you just admit to being retarded, but also that you're garbage for talking shit, oh sorry my apologies, trying be funny.

lol a retard trying to act smart

  • I haven't seen the Help yet, but I read the book and I hope it's as good as the book. The book was amazing! My mom and I (I'm 16 and female :P) read the book together and loved it. Anyone who read the book, did you think the movie was truthfull to the book ?

  • @SuburbianKnights The movie did justice for the book. They left a couple parts out but it stayed true to the book.

  • pretty much you nailed it!

  • Another movie that continues the stereotype that the south was full of purely racist people and never really goes in to the politics or back ground all it does it make you hate white southerners and sympathise with over blown black charectors.

Being from the south it annoys me that these movies pop up every few years it seams all they do at least to african americans in my area is piss off all the blacks in my area and make them see racism in everything for the next two months.

  • @TexianPride well, I hate to bust your bubble but that's how it was back then. and of course not EVERYONE from the south was rascist but the majority were, or diddn't do anything to try and stop it. sorry!

  • I absolutely l love this movie. it was very well made. this was one of the few movies I've seen this summer that I'm glad I spent my money on.

  • who the fuck is Emma STONE

  • @Uk12Us your an idiot -_-

  • @spawn10317 it's spelled you're

  • @SpineRipper93 sort of making fun of myself there anyway. to call one an idiot one must also be an idiot in some fashion, because you're degrading yourself as well as the other person. If i truly wasn't an idiot i wouldn't have said anything but i did.

  • @spawn10317

    .......I only know one Emma

  • I want to see this movie and surprisingly my little sister who is 10 wants to check it out.

  • i had no idea this movie existed... but i see it as 2.5 hours of EMMA STONE! AHHH!

  • Thanks, Jeremy. It seems like you don't like to communicate with fans. I'll remember that.

  • i like what he says about apathy

  • on the ADD note... have you seen tree of life?

  • wait....Albus Dumbledore isn't real??

  • @thestegman100 Why does he not have more thumbs up for this.. hahaha.

  • i never thought i would live to see the day that Jeremy jahns would review the movie the HELP.

  • Shouldn't this have come out closer to the Oscars? This is the type of stuff the Academy ignores other movies for (and no, I'm not trying to write off the movie, just the Oscars).

  • REVIEW DOCTOR WHO!!!!!!!!!!

  • I loved this movie...and I'm a guy (obviously). But seriously, it's definitely worth checking out!

  • 30 minutes or less... ?

  • The Help gets helped, enough said.

  • I'm not trying to get TOO personal or anything Jeremy... But aren't you twenty-something? If you are, I hope I'm as cool as you when I get into my twenties!! :D

  • The devil is Gwen Stacy #1. Bryce Dallas Howard better get nominated.

  • @JeremyJahns LoL Dude, I saw the preview for this movie and instantly thought it was Gwen Stacy vs Gwen Stacy. By the way which do yu think is the hotter Gwen??

  • Thumbs up if you clicked on this for the Dumbledore picture.

  • They showed us Saving Private Ryan in high school.

  • You hate apathy, I just think: "Why bother?"

  • Hehehe, highschool video time.

I think i was the only one that watched the whole movie.

    Good times.

  • Its a good movie to describe our past as humans and how we are and what we shall become.

  • Kinda wanted to at parts tho.....

  • it exceeded my expectations. I thought it was well accomplished....Viola Davis needs her Oscar already. just sayin'

  • Really good review. Probably won't see the help until it pops up on Lifetime or Hallmark or one of those gooey channels, but will be reading and reviewing the book.

  • Viola Davis!

  • I read the help in school last year lol

  • NO RATING?

  • @tinytot258 Good time, no alchohol required.

  • @tinytot258 it's a good time no alcohol required

  • Silly Jeremy, chicks dont exist on the internet.

  • I wanted an elephant stamp!!!

  • Dude i know you don't review games that often and since you have a ps3 you must know about devil may cry and you should review it or the new game whatever you want if you want, oh yeah by the way a movie has been confirmed

  • This is Spartaa!!

  • I'm gonna be honest, I've never heard of this movie.

  • dude you have to review 300 for your 300th video review

  • Lol I'm reading the book right now, because of the movie ( i always read a book before the movie that it's based on) and I love the book and I'm maybe 75 pages in and I love it... So maybe I'll see the movie or maybe I'll wait until it's on pay per view. I dunno.

Your video review was awesome, though :D

  • for your 300th video, review 300

  • Jeremy!!! do the F-ing smurfs review already! i dont actually want to see it, i just want your opinion.

  • @pleeppleep ditto. i second this

  • @pleeppleep maybe he doesnt wanna see it xD

  • @Mr360dude09

    thats kinda the point....

  • @pleeppleep i don't think we should put him through that torture LOL XD

  • it seems like an okay movie, but im definitely not watching it. mostly on the basis that its basically the same point as every other movie that depicts racism, and the point's kinda been hammered in by now, for me.

  • Yeeaaaaa I gotta go see this movie with my mom. She read the book when it came out. When I told her there was gonna be a movie about it she freaked out and made me swear I would go with her and her friends to see it. So much fun I'm sure:/

  • i am seeing the help tomorrow! really excited!

i was thinking that you would give it a (Buy it on blu-ray) because the (No alcohol required) seems it is average, but i guess it is different because it is a chick movie? the schmoes gave it 4/5 so i thought the blu-ray was equal to that IMO
