  • damn that vette sounded like shit

  • If she was 10 years younger, in a bikini, I would've bought this product.........

  • thats a weird looking kitchen

  • Comment removed

  • will this work in Australia?

  • You shouldn't drive a corvette in the winter ;)

  • She turns me on remotely.

  • My friend has this system on his car and his car does not turn on that fast like she did with her car. There is alot of Lag even when he is right in front of it.

  • not her car.

  • whoa whoa whoa...you have to pay yearly to use this? Get the heck out of here. That's just stupid. Greedy pigs.

  • I often find myself driving my corvette in the freezing cold minnesota winters.

  • @JusNov16

Actually there are two vettes in the parking lot of the ski resort I work at almost daily...

  • LOL Hashirama, thats not a dodge viper bud. Thats a corvette ya jack wagon!

  • how convinient xD, a viper to test the viper smartstart. anyways, if i were her, i would say:

look what happens when i press this button, thats right, i just started my VIPER from my iphone.

  • will it work for i pod touch?

  • becuase im going to drive my ZR1 in the winter?????

  • @ViperSmartStart

So if i have an autoloc electronic lid that lifts by remote how do i use it on my iphone instead of the remote autoloc gave me? My car is the fiesta...i haven't picked it up yet on my car but i want it on my fiesta soon and i really want this once i get the money but i want to be sure if its possible without forking more money for more things required...any help?

  • It's sort of funny that it's VIPER smart start and they got a corvette

  • yeah..ok...a one way remote...stupid for getting an alarm with a one way remote :(

  • We all know danm well that 800 HP supercharged vette is not your damn car!!

  • She sounds like an annoying cunt

  • Do Android phones have this app???

  • @DaDrumerBoi heh...

  • @DaDrumerBoi yup

  • I wanted to be sick while I watched this. If it wasn't the total superfluousness of the actual product, it was hearing the phrase "Viper SmartStart" every two seconds.

  • why would u do that if i have a key lmfao

  • Are you using data plan on this or just your cellphone signal?

  • this really isnt a necessity but more of luxurious thing. Ive no use in this; just throwing away cash. id rather donate the 29.99 to the homeless, at least ill feel better about it. :/

  • Also I have to agree the car is nice, but I doubt most people would drive that in the winter... Although I live in Canada and in my city people drive lambos during the winter.

  • I own a Viper 5901 2 way combo and this seems like a great upgrade. I have a couple of concerns though, I know the remotes it(Viper 5601) comes with come with about 2000 ft range. But even my 5901 unit with 5000 ft range had difficulty in underground parking and in some malls, when my SUV was well within that range. How does the unit send or recieve signal from iphone or blackberry to the vechicle?

  • why does it work on phone signals doesn't the inverter understand that it wont work in a under ground parking lot

  • I lol'd at how bad of an actress that lady is, and how inaccurate the times are when it comes to pushing the button. Editing out the delay FTL.

  • This inbreible thanks iphone

  • The car is more attracting than her. Corvette ZR1... Epic

  • wonder if they have an android version

  • 0:40

wait, she's gonna sit in her car the WHOLE winter?!?!

  • I think this is badass... And for everyone that is ignorant and saying how everyone is going to hack into it and steal your car...

You need the key to go...

It will instantly shut off without the key.

So stop saying stupid shit that you have no idea about it. Do your research first.

  • what a retarded feature :)

    Honestly corvette in the winter???

Seems like it would be more practical if it simply used wifi, i dont need it to work from anywhere, just from a couple of feet from the car so i dont need several remotes like a tool.

  • @WhatIThinke Hmm... Not sure you are really making sense because if you only wanted to start the car from a few feet away; assuming you mean 20 feet why bother at all. Also not everywhere has wifi, so if you werent at home or a cafe you would be out of luck.

  • First what happens.

Get the most awesome quick start on a car ever.

    Second what happens.

People start hmm I don't know hacking the Iphone like they have been since it came out and next thing you know your car is gone yayyy smart start you're awesome

  • You guys do realize you have to have a viper in order for this to be of any convenience to you, right....

  • When will this be available for every car? I don't have a viper, lol.

  • Ya I wud bang her

  • first you need an iphone. CHECK!

  • tits

  • so im going to guss its not for ipod touch??? lol aww guss i gotta getta nother 1 lol

  • @musicismylife219 yeah it will work from wifi

  • @musicismylife219 Nah, it works on the 3G signal :P

  • I have had the older Viper remote start (791XV?) for a few years to remote start and lock/unlock. I use it daily. True, I have to be within a hundred feet from the car but I don't have to pay monthly fee and to have an iphone.

  • this is ridiculous i went to get one of this alarm at best buy, they wanted 700 dollar plus 29.99 after the first year for service of the wifi, cause the remote starter works with wifi, i rather use my key,

  • In theory this is a great alarm, but the problems I see here are that you could misplace your phone much easier than your keys. What if the app crashes? I have an iPhone and apps can crash without a warning all the time. Re-DLing the app would be cumbersome. What about after starting your car, do you have to put the key into the car? Paying to use your alarm is just unreasonable. And finally, what happens if you decide to upgrade away from the iphone?

  • Don't forget you still have to buy an iphone AND be milked by AT&T for around $80/month. My wife and I have iphones and we pay around $170/month for just 2 iphones. I cant wait until my contract is over. Using just your key is just as cheap as using your stock remote. Don't be fooled people, money is the name of the game.

  • What is the range with this iPhone?

  • Comment removed

  • WOW get ready to be amazed!!!

    stupid lame publi

  • That colored remote is like $600. Then you have to buy the unit that allows you to use your iPhone which is about $300. The installation will run you about $300. What a waste. And Viper wants to keep milking you guys each year after that.

  • Hey if you guys want to be ripped off more than once be my guests.

  • @jbravo70

use your key then...this is a convenience factor.

  • Well I might try this out if I go get another car from somewhere... My grand Cherokee srt8 came with remote start when I got it.. But Im thinkin of getting a vette sometime this year and I'll get this if I have the money...

  • is there an app for blackberrys

  • yeah everyone drives their ZR1 in the winter

  • ....if your in Cali they o all year long :)

  • Hot milfffff!

  • lol!

  • Never knew you could remote start a manual car.....

  • Comment removed

  • you can but you have to override the safety control switch for the clutch. its not legal in the states anyways because obviously if you leave it in gear you can get into a lot of trouble quickly. my bmw has remote start and its a manual. its running compustar which is the ONLY LEGAL remote start system out there that can start a manual car. the reason is all the safety precautions that it has. =] fun stuff.

  • False....your Remote starter is not the only " legal " remote starter, the same way you bypass your clutch in your car is the same way the vipers do it....they just do it better :)

  • With all of Directed's new units you can remote start a manual transmission vehicle, call a local install shop an they will confirm this.

  • She's a hot MILF .......

  • thats good idea but why pay 29.99 that stupid a month no thanks

  • @trdracer21 29.99 per YEAR -- Not per month - and the 1st YEAR is included!!

  • @trdracer21 Im in Arizona and when its still 100 outside at 11 PM at night wellllll you can guess that car is HOT during the day. Well worth it if it WAS 29 a month....but I can settle for 29 a YEAR!!!!!!!!

  • @trdracer21

DDS 900 from Telstart is better then Iphone. You can use the DDS 900

with any kind of telephone to start your car, unlock the doors.

you d'ont pay ANY montly fees.

DDS900 FROM TELSTART THE BEST FOR THE HALF PRICE !!

  • I love her

  • Excellent. Don't foget to leave your manual trans-only ZR1 in neutral. Maybe this is how that Veyron got into the lake...

  • Viper makes remote starters that are made for manual shift cars. They require the user to complete a sequence before exiting the car that would ensure that the car is in neutral. It's pretty much fail safe.

  • Low flying sea gull indeed. He was just trying to start his car from his house and it ended up driving itself into a lake.

  • This seems like it would be great for those that can afford it and need to start their vehicle from their work place, train station, airport, hospital or even the mall. Anywhere where starting from a distance is a necessity.

  • Why is her Left eyebrow kinda high?

  • No, it's not all "Conspiracy" to me. But I think $29.99 is too much money to commit hard working people who have already dumped over $500 for the system, and probably at least $200 for installation. How much does it costs to send a signal like that? Per year? That's ok though, more companies will be coming out with that, and they will me much cheaper.

Anybody else out there feel this is unfair???

  • If you can't afford $2.50 a month for a connection to your car, use your key of kee fob to start your car. Conspiracy.... Please.

  • you have 0 idea what you talking about... 29 a year to have a back up on something you already use on a daily basis...that's a well worth plan to me.

  • Hopefully they can jailbreak this remote thing so you don't have to pay a yearly fee. Can this thing open your windows too or control other things? How about measure temperature in car?

Great idea, but what is it with keeping people in debt??? No wonder our economy is so screwed, rich corporations just wanting to get richer.

  • Jailbreak? Keeping people in debt?? It's all a conspiracy for you, isn't it? The $30 per year pays for wireless service - which is NECESSARY if you expect the device in the vehicle to be able to receive the signal. Unless, of course, you would prefer telepathy... but my guess is it will be FAR more reliable using GPRS wireless data service (and $30 per year is FAR less expensive than normal wireless service).

  • I can't wait to get this in my Lexus IS. I take the train to work every morning, and need a remote start with an "unlimited" range.

And to all those fucking idiots talking about "car theft will be on the rise", you should know that with ANY remote start system, if the brake pedal is deployed WITHOUT a key in the ignition, the engine gets turned off, so you CAN'T steal the car.

And if you are crying about $30, go fuck yourself. Seems like all the haters are the ones who can't afford it. HAHAHAH

  • well said my man :)

  • You know? I use my car key to start my car...and it is ABSOLUTELY FREE! No yearly fees, no installations and it works everywhere.

    STOP BEING SO LAZY!!!!

  • @ChickenBot Now if ya just stepped out of your helicopter in subzero weather with critical conversation in tow it would be imperative to arrive at a terrestrial location with minimal fuss. But then again maybe you require a chauffeur like all the other lazy people. That is to say the helicopter automatically flew back to its hanger while you redefined your financial street state. But I suppose you require a personal pilot like all the other rich cats. Lazy people can't afford this tech-no

  • i may consider buying it if there's no yearly plan, with yearly plan, forget it. I rather get the regular one.

  • 1st year free. 29.99 after that. thats bullshit if you ask me because how far away do you really need to start your car. the regular systems start from pretty far away.

  • Is a Corvette ZR1 not Viper!

  • Yeah, but the remote start is a VIPER. NOT THE CAR!!

  • awesome

  • easier to steal a car now for burglars .... hahaha. it will be lot of ways to hack the system as usual. more job for the stupid cops

  • Wow, this thing costs 499$, plus you need an iphone, plus you gotta pay the yearly fee of 30$ a year. First year is free so that's the only bonus. So you're looking at spending about a 1000$, plus you need a dataplan for your dumbphone... Such a waste of money if you ask me. It's good for showing off your iphone nothing more. I paid $400 for my viper remote car starter and it works awesome! I don't need an expensive smart phone with a fancy data plan to use it.

  • yea ur right but u can start ur car from an I-pod too but still too expensive am happy with my alarm that i bought for 250 dollars and it does the same thing as that smartstart

  • and besides there 2 modules 1 that cost 299 and 1 that cost 499

  • Get ready for the increase of car jacking thats all I got to say!

  • So true.

  • Can you tell me how that's possible ? Viper has been in the game since 81 and that's what there known for is remote start and security...I'm pretty sure they have it dialed down to a T...

  • Does the chick come with the kit? If so, Im in.

  • ....no i checked :(

  • i like to open her trunk . . .

  • milf

  • Bitch you don't own a ZR1!

  • Lets Jailbreak those car :)

  • yes...this works with ipod touch

  • LOL sorry for advancing technology?

  • work with ipod touch?

  • nope, it uses cell phone signal. You can use it anywhere in the world as long as you have signal and your car is parked where it will have signal

  • incorrect, it uses WiFi as well

  • from the site------With SmartStart, there is no such thing as "too far away." SmartStart works over the 3G cellular network or over Wi-Fi, giving you virtually unlimited range anywhere in the U.S. As long as your vehicle is in range of a GSM cellular signal and your phone has a 3G or Wi-Fi signal, SmartStart will work.

  • yes

  • yes with WiFi

  • what kind of stupid argument is this... "start the car to get it warm inside"

how about you buy a proper pre-heating system for your car, which actually runs without the engine and also heats up the inside and the engine block for a faction of the petrol.

that's almost as bad as "I de-ice my car by running it for an hour before I go to work" .. use a scratcher lazy fart.

  • A properly warmed engine will wear less, make less polution and use less gasoline than one that's ice cold.

  • very true...

  • takes an average of 30 seconds to completely warm up any car even in -40 weather.

  • if its less than a decade old...

  • It defo does not take an average of 30 secs to warm up any car hankz69 thats completely wrong! try 10mins maybe!

  • it's corvette not viper!!!!

  • The name of the remote software is called Viper remote :)

  • then I'm sorry I did not know :) hihihi

  • it is a joke? ^^

  • man im pretty sure that blond is a good lay

  • o yeah i was going to get it but theres this stupid 30 dollar a year service plan

  • The first year's service is included. If you can't afford the $30 a year after that, then this probably isn't the right product for you.

  • sweet theres no password protection so now im steeling iphones to steel cars ha ha well if they have this stupid app that needs some more stuff theres no password protection and uhh yeah im tired lol but really

  • Finally I've been dreaming of this for my iPhone... Now will it work in my old Mercedes ML320 '00 ??? The guys at BestBuy say it will but i have to purchase some extra crap bcuz my ML has a laser cut key...

  • its called a bypass module. This module will alow the viper system to recongize your key. because your key has a chip in it and your ignition needs certain binary numbers to start from the key. the module will make a copy of your key and it will stay with the module

  • OK do not get excited!!!! is not going to work in my Cars

Land Rover Range Rover HSE Sport '08

    BMW Z4 '06

    Mercedes Benz SLK 350 '05

Why? i don't know but they only works in Honda Like Cars

Source: BEST BUY and a lot of Local Alarm Installers in Miami Area...

    Super Disappointed...

  • those car have whats called fiber optic. its a new way of wiring cars now adays. Most places will not touch those vehicles is because if you get a small nick you have to replace everything and that cost over 3 grands

  • mid city engineering, look it up

  • It will work fine in all those vehicles except the Mercedes there is nothing available if that has infared key fobs

  • that blonde is okay.

  • damn ZR1

  • Nice! Global warming included!

  • ....it well work for your Hybrid as well :)

  • Thats awesome, our iPhone app should be launching any day now, its been in review since Oct. 2nd so I'm getting anxious! Its great to see some really cool applications like this one coming out for cars.
