Defiantly one of the greatest he took two teams to the superbowl. And pass for over 15,000 yards on two organizations something that I don't think we will ever see in our life time. Unless Favre comes back LOL
Warner was the man I remember when he was bench by the Giants they mention retirement and he said no cuz he believe he has a few more years left....I honestly said just called it a career but I was wrong. I'm a huge Rams fan but he made me a Cards fan for those years he spent there
all things are possible with God! im 2nd string qb rite now for high school but i believe i can become starter nd go big! kurt warner is my inspiration!
Kurt Warner is a true legend. I'm never gonna forget that game when I first heard the name "Kurt Warner". I was watching the Rams game, the year they were suppossed to be the best, and I hear the commentator say "Oh, Trent Green is down... he's injured." Out comes Kurt Warner. I didn't know it then, but i was looking at one of the best to ever play the game. He's right up there with Thorpe and Sanders, Smith and Rice. He's like the cool, modest version of Brett Farve.
Kurt Warner is an example to everyone to never give up and never stop beleving in yourself. He showed that hard work, dedication, & belief can allow you to achieve anything you want. I am a big Rams fan & even though he was cut by the Rams i kept cheering for Kurt. In my opinion he is the greatest leader & QB of all time, but that is just MY opinion. He motivates me. When i think that i cant accomplish something i just think of him & his career. 3 highest yardage games in SB history. WOW!
I loved Kurt Warner as a person and as a player but idk if he is a hall of famer. He's an amazing story, no doubt. He played in three super bowls, won one, no doubt. He's got two MVPs. But what I'm always going to remember are four years of utter dominance where he was among the best, if not the best, quarterbacks, that I've ever seen, he was otherwise hurt. He just had so many years where he wasn't playing. I hope he gets into the hall of fame, but I can understand maybe why not
@longbowgold67 Kurt Warner was the best QB I ever saw ... for three years. I think he got knocked around tooo much. Teams knew the Rams were invincible, unless they could knock Kurt Warner on his ass enough. I remember he had a couple concusions the year after winning the SB. Guys were always making late hits and taking cheap shots at him. That Rams team made defenses have to get more sophistocated. The entire NFL today plays more sophistocated defenses due to that one Rams team.
Listen here, you big Christian. You put down Favre to the media; you judge-you'll be judged. I wonder if you have any skeletons in your closet, Warner??? If your "God" really does exist, we're shortly to hear of them.

Come back Kurt, the league misses you. It became less exciting when the Raiders started to suck in '03-'04 season. Now its just not as addicting to watch football without a Kurt Warner... A legend... A football god... A true man...
i didn't realize how good warner was until after he retired. truly amazing quarterback, must respect. if he doesn't get a spot in the hall of fame he's getting robbed.
@MattfromAZ Dude he will get a spot in The Hall of Fame. He's been to three Superbowls. Set The Passing record in all of them. Has one ring. Has the highest percentage completion than any other quarterback.
Man i wish more players in the NFL had Kurt's passion for the game cause he's seen the ups and downs without asking for more money or more playing time. like now day QB's, that get paid way more than they should.
One of my favorite QBs along with Brett Favre and Peyton Manning. This guy is just pure class and his story of rising the ranks to become Super Bowl MVP is something not even Hollywood could write.
One of the things I remember most about Kurt is how he is one of the only QBs to my knowledge that throws with gloves on.
We'll be seeing you in the Hall of Fame soon enough Kurt!
NO doubt one of the best qbs ever to play the game, he was so accurate, he won the sb in just his second year with the rams, he alsomade the cards a winning team. KURT WARNER FOREVER!!!!!
kurt warner was almost known for his accuracy of trowing the ball very good to his wide recievers ..one heck of a good QB that would never be replace ..good ol times with the rams man :(
he is my favorite nfl player also. hes the reason i started to like football as a kid. my first ever team was the '99-00 rams because i liked their uniforms and it ended up being the best season of my nfl watching life. Kurt Warner is a true inspiration.
I'm a niners fan, but I have always greatly admired Kurt Warner and the features he has accomplished. Always was scared for the Niners whenever they faced him.
@marked3life He could throw the ball. And he was a nice guy......always felt good rooting for him. He was the true underdog that went from nothing to a champion.

I hope another player like him comes along and can show people that through perserverance, diligence, motivation, and faith that you can achieve anything.
KURT WARNER is the favorite QB that has ever lived,, he did a amzing job with the RAMS,, CARDINALZ.. he deserves to be an HALL OF FAMER.. when he retired i cryed because i thought i was never gona see a QB the same as KURT WARNER ever... THANK YOU KURT WARNER for puting us a SHOW :D
Kurt was the shit... the game needs him to pull a Brett Favre and come back, it definately is not his time to go; not in my eyes. Imagine if he was on a team like the Raiders... Thanks man I use to like the Rams when they were the greatest show on tirf, to see thhis video it touched a lot, I've never been this emotional overa little video on youtube.
The greatest person to ever step onto a football field. Intelligent, tough, humble, soft-spoken, warm-hearted, confident, reliable.... The pillar of 2 NFL franchises and the idol of millions of young people who want to do it the right way.
Kurt Warner, you are my hero for life! I'll never forget what you did for the Cardinals and the NFL, and how you did it. You gave us memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. You gave us tears of joy when nobody believed in us. THANK YOU!!!
@FreeLibertarian I felt obvligated to pause the video at hand in respect. Kurt Warner is one of the last great true stars of the oldschool nfl, imo. Thanks for your message.
kurt warner no doubt is one if not the best he's taken 2 of the worst franchises brought the players together and turned them into a winning team good luck on your charity work Kurt
He is one tough badass. I know we'll see him in the hall of fame one day. he is a true underdog and has a great story. He didn't let the NFL take no for an answer for him to get in
Because he's smart enough to know when to call it quits. He's been banged up a lot and he's already going to have physical issues for the rest of his life. He has nothing left to prove, he had a hall of fame career. Might as well hang up the cleats when he's still able to stand up at Canton to receive his honors.
Favre will keep playing until he receives a career ending injury. Warner didn't want to go out like that. He got in one last breathtakingly amazing playoff game and he was done.
His last win came in the playoffs and in it he had more touchdowns than incompletions. think about that. he also had a game where he went 22 for 24 which set a new NFL completion percentage record. In his final season! HOFer!
Kurt warner: one of the greatest of all time, a future hall of famer, hopefully he gets in on the first ballot. The NFL is going to miss him, they need guys like this. Does anyone know the name of this song? I've heard it before, but what is the name and artist?
thank you for making this video, im a titans fan and my roommate is a diehard kurt fan, and i didnt get to know kurt till it was too late :( but i honor him now and watch this video everyday, and keep my respect up for him by donating to his charity
i followed Kurt his entire NFL career and i feel the reason he is so great is because he gets the ball to exactly where it needs to go most of the time. it goes right into the hands of the guys he's throwing to and it even throws them off because it gets there even when they aren't really ready for it. but he throws it so they can CATCH it. awkward, but perfect at the same time. and it throws the defense off too. if anyone besides me watched the cardinals run last year in the playoffs they know.
another big reason he was so good is because he got the job done at the NFL level by believing in something that he felt was honest and could not be messed with or overcome (in his case God).
i feel people pay more attention to bias "experts" on the news than they do to the greatness of the player. in Kurt Warner's case this is so unfortunate because the media deliberately makes him look less than he is. very sad. one big reason is because he came from the arena league and everything he did that was great in the NFL made the NFL look bad. i pay attention to how great a player is and with kurt warner, he is geeky, can't evben throw real spirals, but he is still a great, great qb.
he took the arizona cardinals and st louis rams to the super bowl. if that's not HOF worthy i don't know what is. let's see someone else do that with those 2 teams. also, here's some more records he owns: most passing yards in a super bowl: #1 Kurt Warner. #2 Kurt Warner. and #3, Kurt Warner. he's only been in 3 super bowls otherwise i imagine he'd have the #4 spot too. and the percentage of 300 yard games he had is the highest ever by FAR. how people can say he isn't a HOFer is beyond me...
I just wished he could have hung in there for one more year. Thanks for giving the Rams their dream season of "99", Kurt Warner.ALL football fans are gonna miss seeing you on the field in September.
OK warner is the greastest QB ever over Brady favre montana marino everone. Warner has a superbowl championchip 2 mvps and best passer rating. he is by far the best QB ever.
This guy is practically perfect, he's an amazing quarterback, spends time with his wife and like 7 kids, goes to church, and commits many hours to community service. Man if you want to feel like crap, compare yourself to kurt warner.
@hockeyfan redwings. How many million dollars did you make last year. When was the last time you won a super bowl or earned an MVP of the NFL award? "I can tell you one thing I wouldn't do, stock shelves at Kroger", boy, it's either that or Mcdonalds burger flipper. You're probably just some nerd who's never been good at sports so you joke around about real athletes, You're not even funny, crawl in your hole and leave the world alone loser.. Kurt Warner was a great one, don't forget it.
Football will not be the same without #13. The NFL is losing an amazing player but an even better person. We love you Kurt!!! Football doesnt define him and he will go on to better things...
i heard one of the espn comentators say he was a "better man" than football player like he wasnt that good or something...this guy is a first ballot hall of famer without a doubt.not to mention he didnt even become a starter till he was almost 30 and would probably hold every record there is if he had started playing straight outta college.class act through and through wish hed play one more year.
also my favorite player. god i miss "the greatest show on turf" :( kurt, isaac, tory and marshall will make great additions to the hall of fame as a ram :)
he will always be remembered by us cardinals fans for what he has done for this team an were he's takein us and expecialy for the confidence he had in this whole team every season he played with us...we will miss u kurt
i think hes defenitly one of the top 10 qbs of all time mabye even top 5 hes very underated he took 2 nothing franchises to the superbowl thats just insane
Second favorite QB behind Peyton Manning. He always made games so exciting and was such a great person through and through. I'm so happy he got to end his career on the note that he did. God bless you Kurt Warner, hopefully God has greater things in store for you now
I like when ppl say "oh i like the story" story??? he's another stupid ignorant football playing flunkie. lol. Like NFL players gave up careers as PHD's.
Dude seriously why are you commenting. You know Kurt Warner was one of the best. He makes more then you. He gave people houses and stuff. He has 8 kids. He is a Christian. He is everything you want to be. Kill yourself. Detroit sucks anyways. He did hardwork. Probably nothing you know about. Cardinals fans like to party and chill even if we loose. We always manage to have a good time. Kurt has one of the best post season performances. HALL OF FAMER RIGHT HERE!!

@jbrockism No problem, straight from the heart buddy! We Cardinals fans miss Kurt dearly, and not only on the field

He is one tough badass. I know we'll see him in the hall of fame one day. he is a true underdog and has a great story. He didn't let the NFL take no for an answer for him to get in
southpark997 1 year ago
i really wish he was back on the cardinals, bret farve is 40 and kurt is 39. why should he retire
321headshotable 1 year ago
Because he's smart enough to know when to call it quits. He's been banged up a lot and he's already going to have physical issues for the rest of his life. He has nothing left to prove, he had a hall of fame career. Might as well hang up the cleats when he's still able to stand up at Canton to receive his honors.
Favre will keep playing until he receives a career ending injury. Warner didn't want to go out like that. He got in one last breathtakingly amazing playoff game and he was done.

It sucks he didn't win the super bowl against the steelers. damn steelers and their cheap catch that wasn't really in bounds.
FordCopChrist1995 1 year ago
that catch wasnt really in bounds at super bowl his body crossed before his feet touched
TheNikeairforce1s 1 year ago
His last win came in the playoffs and in it he had more touchdowns than incompletions. think about that. he also had a game where he went 22 for 24 which set a new NFL completion percentage record. In his final season! HOFer!

the nfl needs cinderella players and teams. arizona going to the super bowl? Before that year, that team was last team to make it to the playoffs!
xlegitsinceironmanx 1 year ago
Kurt warner: one of the greatest of all time, a future hall of famer, hopefully he gets in on the first ballot. The NFL is going to miss him, they need guys like this. Does anyone know the name of this song? I've heard it before, but what is the name and artist?

i followed Kurt his entire NFL career and i feel the reason he is so great is because he gets the ball to exactly where it needs to go most of the time. it goes right into the hands of the guys he's throwing to and it even throws them off because it gets there even when they aren't really ready for it. but he throws it so they can CATCH it. awkward, but perfect at the same time. and it throws the defense off too. if anyone besides me watched the cardinals run last year in the playoffs they know.
billyjoebutthed111 1 year ago
another big reason he was so good is because he got the job done at the NFL level by believing in something that he felt was honest and could not be messed with or overcome (in his case God).
billyjoebutthed111 1 year ago
i feel people pay more attention to bias "experts" on the news than they do to the greatness of the player. in Kurt Warner's case this is so unfortunate because the media deliberately makes him look less than he is. very sad. one big reason is because he came from the arena league and everything he did that was great in the NFL made the NFL look bad. i pay attention to how great a player is and with kurt warner, he is geeky, can't evben throw real spirals, but he is still a great, great qb.
billyjoebutthed111 1 year ago
he took the arizona cardinals and st louis rams to the super bowl. if that's not HOF worthy i don't know what is. let's see someone else do that with those 2 teams. also, here's some more records he owns: most passing yards in a super bowl: #1 Kurt Warner. #2 Kurt Warner. and #3, Kurt Warner. he's only been in 3 super bowls otherwise i imagine he'd have the #4 spot too. and the percentage of 300 yard games he had is the highest ever by FAR. how people can say he isn't a HOFer is beyond me...

This guy is practically perfect, he's an amazing quarterback, spends time with his wife and like 7 kids, goes to church, and commits many hours to community service. Man if you want to feel like crap, compare yourself to kurt warner.
we'll miss you, kurt
