Hallucinogenic compounds have a high affinity for a certain receptor in the central nervous system (5-HT2A, or 2AR), and when these receptors are blocked, the hallucinogenic side effects are mitigated.

Furthermore, I see that you do in fact have bee pollen in your Everclear bottle. I am not sure if this could possibly replace the wormwood used in Absinthe. The wormwood is distilled along with the alcohol to extract the aromatic oils from the herb and leave the vile flavor behind. You most likely need to follow the same procedure to extract the oils from the pollen, maybe not. In any case, dripping cold sugar water into Everclear will not give you any "trip". I have tried with and without the propolis. What confuses the body is the sugar itself. Since its not fully dissolved due to the cold water, your body will absorb the alcohol faster. But you dont have to take my word for it. Read back through the comments on the video and you will see comments posted, about trying the drink and it working. Hey guys I tried everclear..watch my video "everclear shots rock". I had heart burn for about 2 weeks because it damaged the tissue in my esophogus and stomach.
