I was there, and yes, it really was as packed as it looks. Every single seat was packed, people were standing everywhere, and there were about 1000 extra seats added, along with the thousands of people they had to turn away because of the lack of room.

Some people waiting in line over night. I only waited about 3 hours, and it was freezing!

It was simply amazing. my mom took me out of school to see this, and it was totally worth it.

My mom was there! She was so excited. She said every seat was taken (the coliseum only holds about 12,000 and that the local news said that about 8,000 people were outside and couldnt get in and that Obama went out and talked to them for awhile.

The Richmond Coliseum can hold about 11,000 people in the seats plus however many were on the floor. Easily 8,000 to 10,000 more people were outside in line when they had to be turned away.

It was a great speech, one I'm glad I was able to attend. If this Democratic nominee doesn't carry Virginia, I'm not sure if any Democrat will.
